Am 30. Mai soll Elden Ring: Nightreign auf den Markt kommen. Nachdem ich kein großer Fan von Soulslikes bin, dachte ich lange Zeit, dass mich auch das Spin-off von From Software absolut kaltlässt. Als ich aber von den neuen Ideen erfahren habe, musste ich meine sture Abneigung ein wenig zurückschrauben. Plötzlich erwartet mich ein Roguelike inklusive Battle-Royale-Erfahrung und das Beste daran: Ich könnte mich im Koop-Modus von besseren Spielern durch die Spielwelt und die Kämpfe schleppen lassen.Alleine das ist doch Anlass genug, eine neue Folge für den PC Games Podcast zum Thema aufzunehmen. In today's Daily Fix:Elden Ring's current lifetime sales have no surpassed all of the Dark Souls series, including remasters and DLC. However, this comes with a caveat: this only counts Dark Souls sales prior to the launch of Elden Ring, but the feat is still impressive since Elden Ring and its Shadow of the Erdtree expansion have only been out for less than three years, but Dark Souls officially began in 2011. In other news, the producer of Black Myth: Wukong is reportedly not too happy about losing Game of the Year at this year's The Game Awards. Producer Feng Ji took to Weibo to comment his displeasure, and according to a Google-assisted translation, felt like he traveled to The Game Awards "for nothing." It's worth noting that this may not be a 100% accurate translation of what he said, and certain nuances may have been lost. And speaking of The Game Awards, Capcom is comitting to resurrecting dormant IPs, as evidenced by the reveal of new Onimusha and Okami games at this year's TGAs. Could a new Mega Man be on the way?

More layoffs  are happening as People Fly Games are laying off about 120 developers from its Studios. An interesting article on Ai by Playstation CEO Herman Hulst on how AI will never replace the human touch but will be here to help instead. Leaks occurred before the Game Awards; someone leaked the It Takes Two creators' game, called Split Fiction.Cyberpunk  received an unexpecting patch update. Kingdom Come Deliverance 2's release date moved up a week.
