The first week into my journey of self-examination and discovery. Figures something ridiculous like gout would go ahead and throw it's hat in the ring as well.

Well folks, that does it for the Rants and Rage Podcast. I'm moving on to bigger and better things. I appreciate all of you who have listened. Thanks for giving me something to keep my mind off the bullshit.

In this episode, I break down Jonathan Haidt's The Righteous Mind, a book that takes a scientific look at moral judgements and how we develop them.

Q Anon is quite possible the most amazing cult ever. Why? Because it's the first cult to originate and propagate online. Believers swear it's NOT a cult. But if it looks like a duck, quaks like a duck.... Am I right? 

Under Trump, the Proud Boys, Boogaloo Boys, American Militia Movement, and Q-Anon believers have found unity. But do they really pose a threat? I feel like the far-right extremists are just bored kids and rednecks that need to find some purpose in their life.

I picked up a great book called the Righteous Mind: Why Good People are Divided By Politics and Religion. It's filled will all sorts of great case studies on how people develop their moral compass and whether or not our morals are something that comes from the heart, or the mind.

In this episode, I discuss some of the factors that cause people in groups to behave in irrational and violent ways.

In this episode, I rant about how the candidates you elect are bought and paid for by corporate lobbyists who work to push the agenda of their clients. The results of Citizens United vs. The Federal Elections Commission gave corporations the right to spend as much money as they want on "electioneering communications." These corporations (and labor unions) spend millions each year to influence you and politicians. They convince you on who to vote for, and they convince the elected officials to vote for policies that favor their bottom line. Many of these corporations own shares in the news outlets you rely on for the information you vote on. There is also a strong correlation between the amount a corporation spends on lobbying and the profits they make. Still think your vote really matters?

Carrying on with the discussion of agenda setting and how politicians all get benefits from their political. It's a dirty corrupt world out there in Washington and the Capitol and that's exactly what they want. We're screwed no matter who is in office.

I recorded this short essay I wrote. At least, I think it's an essay. I don't remember what an essay is because I'm a stupid American.

Are you not wearing a mask because of your political affiliation? Apparently, that seems to be the case. How will America ever stop sucking if this is the level of intellegence we're dealing with? 

Humans evolved into hunter-gathers over a hundreds of thousands of years. Since we've developed farming and agriculture, we haven't evolved much but our societies have. We're getting more depressed the more we participate in this f'ed up world. This is an episode about the connection between our current society and depression.

With everything going on, I felt compelled to get back on here and start talking about some of it. Hang on cuz I'm just getting warmed up again. 

The more I look into how the government deceives the public, the more I find out that they don't actually do anything to hide it. They are bought and paid for by special interest and big business and are in no way ashamed. We never had control, and we never will. They will just implement programs, slowly but surely, that lead us further and further into genuine slavery. And we will go, not only without a fight, but with a smile on our face. Just give us a few trinkets to distract us, drugs to make us complacent, and BOOM!!! instant robots!!!

People in Sacramento are pissed that no charges will be filed against the cops that shot and killed Stephon Clark. I understand this. But I don't understand why they think inciting riots are the way to get anything to change. Wouldn't it be better to get yourself elected to a position that could possible change the outcome of these situations? If Alexandria Ocacio-Cortez can get elected, I'm pretty sure anyone can. 

Sorry I've been gone! I've had a lot of binge watching I had to catch up. I'm back and here's my first episode of 2019. Tune in or be square. 

More of my thoughts on the despicable philosophy of Socialism and what's wrong with the entire system. 

Socialism is bad, mkay? But mostly, it doesn't seem to be thought through. I've recently began studying socialism because I think it's important to have information on more than one single viewpoint. My conclusion is that it's a horribly thought-out plan and only appeals to those who don't want to put in any effort at life. 

After a break from the negativity, I'm fucking back! Although, I'm prolly a little less negative that the past. Prolly cuz there are too many amazing things going on in my life. Fear not, though. I still have an opinion on everything. 

What can I say? I think ALL kids should be kept in cages. 

I carfully think through every opinion I have. I don't watch the news, I don't read the paper. If an issue is presented, I do research and formulate my own opinion through the process of rationalization. If I'm wrong and confronted with opposing information, I will gladly recant and take into consideration the new information. What I don't do is strive to hurt people's feelings. The fact that some people take offense while others agree is proof that what is deemed "offensive" is entirely subjective and as the meme says, "It is not my responsibility to manage the emotions of others." Love you all and thanks for your continued support. 

Oh dang! We're fighting the evil Russians again. Oh and we're still teaching our kids about Christianity and can't figure out why we can't seem to make decisions about our future. Hmmmm....

That's right! I got mud all over my junk and everywhere else for that matter. Also, why do people still believe in the reanimated messiah? And I want Ben Affleck to audit the State. 

Why would a so-called conservative president be worried about a governement agency? Isn't that the goal of Republicans? Less government involvement in our day-to-day? No. Every single member of our government is in favor of the same thing: take from the producers and give to the non-producers. Including themselves. What the fuck has your government done for YOU lately?

Sooooo... I was able to finally convince Anonymous Brittany to come back with the intent of discussing relationships. Unfortunately, we got into the fireball and had visitors from the Jehovah's Witnesses. Weird right? 

First of all, if you're born with a penis you're a man. Also, there was another unarmed civilian shot dead by the Court of Cops in Sacramento. Sad, yes. But the protests that follow (as with all protests) was a waste of time, and in my opinion, hurt the cause more than they help. 

I'm tired of debating every little detail of the fucked up country we're living in. It's pretty obvious that they are symptoms of a collapsing once-great nation. And as far as our children thinking their stupid opinions matter - they fucking don't. I for one don't care what a bunch of skinny jean wearing, tide-pod eating kids, who have never worked a day in their lives have to say about ANYTHING!

I strayed from my norm and tried dating a liberal. It was every bit as horrible as one could expect. Also, Calfornia was ranked Worst Living Conditions out of all 50 states! Why am I not surprised? Is it because at only 12% of the Nation's population, we carry over 30% of the welfare recipients? 

I'm not willing to wait another 40 years to retire. I want to be lazy now! As such, my new goal is to save enough to retire at 50 and basically be a bum. 

Friday, I went to a reggae show and got entirely too high to function. This is the story of how my night ended before it began. 

Being known as somewhat of an asshole isn't always a bad thing. Not if it means you stand up for your beliefs, stand up for yourself, and don't hurt anyone in the way. But sometimes, your beliefs need to be questioned. If you're incapable of seeing things from a new perspective, incapable of challenging your beliefs, than you're not an asshole, you're an arrogant piece of shit. 

At nearly 2.25% of our entire population, our state bureaucracy is our largest employer. But they are also inefficient and ineffective. If a private business ran this way, it would be bankrupt within no time. My guess is that when there is a steady stream of income regardless of performance, there is no accountability or drive to perform better. It's disgusting and something needs to change. It's time we put performance quotas on State Employees.

I'm starting to wonder why the media (mainstream and social) is so intent on creating so much divisivness. Based on historical figures, we're long overdue for a financial recoil. What will happen when we're all broke AND hating eachother?

Do your kids eat as much or stink as bad as mine? Call me, we'll talk about it. 

Oh lawd, here we are again. Another school shooting, another debate about gun control. The truth is, if you want 22-inch arms, you need slow, controlled movements. My thoughts and prayers to the victims. Don't forget about how sads I am! (Thanks A.J.)I don't know. I'm too stupid to debate this one.  

What a great week. California State Assemblywoman and outspoken leader of the #metoo movement steps the fuck down after grabbing dicks while drunk. See? All people suck. Not just men. 

Why is it okay for Black Lives Matters and the feminist movement to use hate speech against men to get their issues accross? And how's that working for you so far? Getting any support from the men who aren't still virgins?
