Everything basketball. From NBA, College, Overseas. Skills and drills. Here at The Daniel Artest Podcast, I'm pushing the culture.
In this episode, I had three amazing women join me to talk about the upcoming NBA season, Briana Bull from the Know Bull Podcast, and from Sports Talk 2319, Kate Constable and Justina Knight. We talked NBA and gave our predictions for this upcoming season. I wanted to do this show because in this male dominated industry, women are often left out the conversation as if they can't talk sports. I can say one thing, that is not the problem with this podcast. Thank you to Briana, Justina and Kate for coming on the show. --- This episode is sponsored by · Anchor: The easiest way to make a podcast. https://anchor.fm/app Support this podcast: https://anchor.fm/danielartestpod/support

Today I have a special bonus episode for you. I was recently on The Off The Glass Podcast hosted by my former professional basketball teammate Zach Ramey. On this episode we discussed and broke down the iconic HBO tv show “the wire” comparing the show to current and past nba players. We compared NBA players to The Wire characters like Weebay, Omar, Avon Barksdale, Stringer Bell, Prop Joe, Marlo, etc. This was a really dope show, as me and Zach sometimes had the same answers for the same reasons. I want to thank Zach for having me on his show and make sure that y’all go support him. Myself, Dre James and Criz Milz breakdown the 2019-2020 NBA Champions LA Lakers 106-93 win over the Miami Heat. LeBron James his fourth title with a triple-double, finishing with 28 points, 10 assists , only one turnover, and 14 rebounds and shooting 13-for-20. AD had 19 points, 15 rebounds, three assists, two blocks and one steal. Rajon Rondo was too much off the bench (19 points, on 8-11 shooting, four assists) Kentavious Caldwell-Pope gave the Lakers a boost offensively (17 points, 6-for-13 shooting). LeBron James averaged 29.8 points, 8.5 assists and 11.8 rebounds as he took home the Finals MVP for the fourth time. No comparisons but. Only MJ has more Finals MVP. For Miami, Bam Adebayo had 25 points on 10-for-15 shooting, plus five assists, 10 rebounds and two blocks. Jimmy Butler finished with 12 points, eight assists and seven rebounds in 45 minutes. He only took ten shots in this game.
