Her husband, Paul Edward Pollis, took her to the hospital for treatment that evening while his parents cared for their two children at their residence in Girard, Ohio. Paul's family departed when the couple returned some time later and Charlotte called her mother. On March 12th 1994 it was discovered Charlotte was missing and she has never been heard from again. On March 11th, 2011 Jayna Murray was bludgeoned, slashed and stabbed more than 330 times, alive until the very end. The murder was a mystery, until Brittany Norwood was arrested, charged and convicted for the crime. This incident came to be known as the Lululemon murders. According to a report in The New York Times, on March 10, 1929, Isidore Fink, of 4 East 132nd Street, New York City, was in his Fifth Avenue laundry on the night of March 9, 1929, with the windows closed and door of the room bolted. A neighbor heard screams and the sound of blows (but no shots), and called the police, who were unable to get in. A young boy was lifted through the transom and was able to unbolt the door. On the floor lay Fink with two bullet wounds in his chest and one in his left wrist. He was dead. There was money in his pockets, and the cash register had not been touched. No weapon was found. More than two years later, Police Commissioner Mulrooney, in a radio talk, called this murder in a closed room an "insoluble mystery". The murder of Christopher Wallace, better known by his stage names "the Notorious B.I.G." and "Biggie Smalls", occurred in the early hours of March 9, 1997. The hip hop artist was shot four times in a drive by shooting in Los Angeles, California. Only one shot, upon examination, was fatal. On February 28th 1981, the body of a newborn baby was found abandoned in a ditch near a cornfield in Sioux Falls, S.D. He had been wrapped in a blanket. Tears were frozen on his cheeks. After no one reported him missing, residents in Sioux Falls named him Andrew John Doe. He was eventually laid to rest in a local cemetery, where he remained unidentified, but not forgotten, for nearly four decades. The "Boy in the Box" is the name given to an unidentified murder victim, a 4 to 5-year-old boy, whose naked, battered body was found in a bassinet box in the Fox Chase section of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, on February 25, 1957. He is also commonly called "America's Unknown Child." His identity has never been discovered, and the case remains open. Robert Hansen was born on February 15, 1939. Known as the "Butcher Baker", was an American serial killer. On Wednesday, 11 February 1942, 32-year-old Doris Jouannet was murdered in the ground-floor flat at 187 Sussex Gardens that she shared with her husband. She had been strangled with a scarf and her naked body sexually mutilated. On the morning of February 11, 1987, a bicyclist investigated what he thought was a mannequin and discovered the body of 37-year-old Peggy Hettrick in a field in southern Fort Collins, CO. According to the coroner, she died from a single stab wound in the upper left back, likely very early in the morning. Luciano started his criminal career in the Five Points gang and was instrumental in the development of the National Crime Syndicate. Luciano is considered the father of modern organized crime in the United States. On February 10th 1946 he was deported from the United States to Italy. Christine Ann Diefenbach was a shy, artistic ninth-grader at Intermediate School 217 in Queens County. She loved drawing and horses. In a time when teenagers were gushing over Tom Cruise, she was fan of Wayne Newton and David Hasselhoff, and would pour over the Sunday newspaper’s ​Parade magazine looking for articles about her idols. She was murdered on February 7th 1988, in Richmond Hill, Queens County, New York. Her case remains unsolved. Joseph McStay and his wife Summer lived in Fallbrook, California, with their sons Gianni (age 4) and Joseph Jr. (age 3). Joseph owned and operated Earth Inspired Products, a company that built decorative fountains, and Summer was a licensed real estate agent. On 3 February 2003, Lana Clarkson, a B-movie actress met famous record producer Phil Spector in a Hollywood nightclub and went back to his place for drinks. Within an hour she was shot in the face in the hallway of Spector’s Pyrenees Castle in Alhambra, a suburb of East Los Angeles. She died immediately. Phil denied pulling the trigger. The Islamic Cultural Centre of Quebec City's Grande Mosquée de Québec is one of several mosques in Quebec City. The mosque is close to the Université Laval, which has many international students from French-speaking, Muslim-majority African countries. In June 2016, during Ramadan it was the target of an incident in which a pig's severed head was left outside the mosque. The incident had been described as a hate crime and an Islamophobic attack. Devastatingly, less than a year later, the Islamic Cultural Centre of Quebec City would have to endure an even more appalling event. He suffered a cardiac arrest on January 22, and on January 25, surrounded by his family in his home, Capone died after his heart failed as a result of apoplexy. On January 24, 1989 at 7:16 a.m.EST, Ted Bundy died in the Raiford Florida State Prison electric chair. Hundreds of revelers, including 20 off-duty police officers sang, danced and set off fireworks in a pasture across the street from the prison while the execution was carried out. On the morning of January 15, 1947, local Los Angeles resident Betty Bersinger was out walking with her three-year-old daughter. As they passed a vacant lot, Bersinger thought she saw a store mannequin, dumped and broken. She quickly realized that she had discovered a body, and that it had been severed into two pieces. The body would be identified at Elizabeth Short, forever known as the Black Dahlia. Harold Shipman was born on January 14th, 1946. Like any child, he was close with his mother who died of lung cancer when he was 17.In the later stages of her disease, she had morphine administered by a doctor. Shipman witnessed his mother's pain subside, despite her terminal condition, until her death. This later became Shipman's own modus operandi, earning his moniker, Dr. Death. The White House Farm murders took place in Essex, England, during the night of August 6 and 7th, 1985. Nevill and June Bamber, along with their adoptive daughter, Sheila Caffell, and Sheila's six-year-old twin sons, Daniel and Nicholas, were shot and killed inside their farmhouse. The only surviving member of June and Nevill's immediate family was their adoptive son, Jeremy Bamber.
