Emotionally Healthy Spirituality The best selling book “Emotionally Healthy Spirituality” by Peter Scazzero has been recommended to us by Vineyard leaders such as John Wright from Vineyard UK, and many have found it to be a helpful resource. Peter learned the hard way: you can’ t be spiritually mature while remaining emotionally immature. Even though he was pastor of a growing church, he did what most people do: Avoid conflict in the name o Christianity; ignore his anger, sadness, and fear; use God to run from God; live without boundaries. Eventually God awakened him to a biblical integration of emotional health, a relationship with Jesus, and the classic practices of contemplative spirituality. We will discuss the highlights of the book, as well as practical applications for our personal lives. Who is this seminar for: Leaders in any capacity, potential leaders, those longing for deeper spirituality.
Sunn åndelighet: om livsrytme, balanse og grensesetting Er det mulig å finne hvile i en stresset hverdag? Finnes det en guddommelig design for en livsrytme der vi kan brenne uten å brenne oss ut? Great (unmet) Expectations Albert Einstein said, “Men marry women with the hope they will never change. Women marry men with the hope they will change. Invariably they are both disappointed.” There are many little “termites” that can silently eat away at the foundation of our marriage but there is one that seems more universal than all others. In this session we’ll look at this silent destroyer of many of the dreams we bring into marriage. I (Rick) have to admit that the understanding we’ll share in this session is probabl the one that most improved our marriage relationship. Who is this seminar for: married or soon to be married couples.

Introduction to Ignatian spirituality - practical exercises Ignatius of Loyola was a man who believed that we must first lead ourselves before we can lead others – and that leading ourselves as Christians calls for constant, focused attention. He devoted his days to training people to care for their interior life with Christ, giving them the capacity to heroically and faithfully impact the world. Like waves on the ocean surface, we are spiritually dynamic people, rather than static. Our emotions change, our bodies change, and our spiritual state needs attention as they do. This will be a very practical session where we will learn about and practice some of the spiritual exercises, such as “The Examen”, “Lectio Divina”, and “Centering Prayer”. Several leaders will guide us through these exercises. Who is this seminar for: Leaders in any capacity, potential leaders, and those hungering for deeper spirituality.
THE VINEYARDS THEOLOGICAL DNA (FOLLOWED BY Q&A) In this seminar we will take a look at the origins and meaning of some of the core beliefs in the Vineyard. How should we understand things like "doing the stuff", "the radical middle" or "both and" and what does it mean to be an evangelical and what on earth is the kingdom of God? We will learn where the formulations came from and why the Kingdom is such a central part of the Vineyards core DNA. In the end of the seminar there will be plenty of time for questions and discussion for those interrested. Who is this seminar for: For those who are interested in the Vineyard history and theology. Where we come from and perhaps some thing about where we are going

Small groups (1): Why & How Jesus lead a small group of people and the early church spread by multiplying small groups that spread into all corners of the world! This seminar is all about why we should passionately continue the quest and how we can practically create small groups that help people explore and grow in faith.
Leader Care is a new track within Vineyard Nordic, and it is aimed at the spiritual well-being of leaders in any capacity. Our main calling as followers of Christ is to make dis ciples, but for many that poses a problem, since they have not really been discipled themselves. Others have attended training classes, a discipleship school, or even seminary training, but these are programs for a limited time, and usually focus more on doing, and very little on what it means to live in God’s presence on a daily basis. With the help of some stories and testimonies from others we will discover the origin, purpose and practical pathways that lead to a healthy spirituality that can equip you to become a better leader, or prepare you for future leadership.
