En este episodio extra os compartimos un directo que hicimos el 16 de julio de 2025 con Pablo Torres, Jefe de Sección de la unidad de Ingreso Mínimo Vital del Instituto Nacional de la Seguridad Social y profesor de OpositaTest. En él, explicó en qué centrarse en la recta final para el examen del Cuerpo Administrativo de la Seguridad Social y resolvió un montón de dudas. ¡Escuchadlo ya para saber cómo enfocar las últimas semanas antes del examen! Además, a continuación os hacemos un pequeño resumen: La mejor preparación de Administrativo de la Seguridad Social Lo primero que debéis tener claro son las dos modalidades de preparación para esta oposición que tenéis disponibles: Preparación integral: incluye test, temario, tutorías, esquemas, supuestos prácticos, clases y vídeos, y barca toda la materia Preparación intensiva de supuestos prácticos: ideal para quienes ya tienen una base teórica sólida y quieren centrarse en el área más decisiva del examen. Este curso, que normalmente cuesta 495€, ahora está disponible por 295€ Estrategia para la recta final de Seguridad Social: foco en los supuestos prácticos Estos son los consejos para las últimas semanas antes del examen de Administrativo de la Seguridad Social que destaca Pablo: Los supuestos son la clave: os obligan a aplicar la teoría y os permiten daros cuenta de si realmente domináis la materia. Las preguntas más complejas, que son las que deciden quién se queda con la plaza, se encuentran en esta parte Entrenad para las trampas: hay que entrenarse para identificar los detalles y no fallar preguntas por falta de atención No tos frustréis: si ya tenéis experiencia, es momento de centrarse en simulacros de alto nivel. Si vuestro nivel es más bajo, no os desaniméis. Es mejor ir paso a paso, reforzando la teoría con test y después abordar supuestos monográficos, viendo los vídeos de corrección para entender el razonamiento del profesor Materias estratégicas de Administrativo de la Seguridad Social y errores comunes Según Pablo, en el supuesto práctico entran casi todos los temas de la parte específica, desde la afiliación y cotización hasta las prestaciones. Sin embargo, hay algunos temas que probablemente no aparezcan en el supuesto (como el tema 13, que es pura teoría), pero sí en el test. Por eso es importante no descuidar ninguna parte. Materias fundamentales: el bloque de prestaciones (temas 8, 9, 10, 11 y 12), el bloque de tesorería y el tema 2 son cruciales. Se espera que pregunten mucho sobre jubilación, pero es necesario dominar otras prestaciones como muerte y supervivencia, IP e IT Errores a evitar: No leer bien: leer de forma tranquila y atenta es la clave para no fallar preguntas que ya sabéis Marcar mal la hoja de respuestas: es un error garrafal que puede costaros la plaza. Leed las instrucciones detenidamente Obsesionarse con una pregunta: si no encontráis la respuesta correcta, no os quedéis atascados. A veces las preguntas están mal formuladas y se anulan, pero perder tiempo puede perjudicaros en otras partes del examen Preparación intensiva de supuestos La dinámica de nuestra preparación intensiva de supuestos prácticos de Administrativo de la Seguridad Social es la siguiente: Clases en directo de corrección de supuestos prácticos Nivel alto y gestión del tiempo: en las últimas semanas, el foco está en los simulacros de nivel avanzado, para aprender a gestionar los nervios y el tiempo en condiciones similares a las del examen Material de apoyo: el curso incluye acceso a más de 150 supuestos y más de 500 preguntas que se han ido grabando desde hace meses. Esto permite a los alumnos y alumnas con menos nivel ver los supuestos monográficos primero y después ver la clase para entender el razonamiento. La riqueza de esta preparación no es solo la teoría, sino el conocimiento y la experiencia de los profesores, que enseñan cómo aplicar la ley en la práctica, anticipando el tipo de preguntas que podéis encontrar en el examen. Discernment is a prayerful process by which we come to understand God's will in our lives for a particular decision. This blogcast explores “Discernment: Day to Day and Lifelong" from the Ad Infinitum blog, written by Christian Bordak-Roseman and read by Meg Ferguson.The popularity of the word discernment seems to have skyrocketed in Catholic circles in recent years. Discernment has always been linked to discerning one's lifelong vocation to married, single, or religious life. Discernment has also been linked—especially recently—to more short-term decisions such as what to study in college, what job to accept, and even more mundane choices within one's daily life. Many times, young people—myself included for many years in the past—want to tackle the question of lifelong discernment head on, determining their vocation as quickly as possible. This, however, cuts off the central aspect of discernment which is a long-term personal relationship with God. Instead of looking at discernment from the top down, one must examine their daily life, decisions, and prayer life to allow God to show them the path to their lifelong vocation. When I was in college, I was racked by pressure to determine my lifelong vocation to either married, single, or religious life. At the time, I understood that the heart of discernment was taking decisions to God in my prayer life, but all I could focus on was finding the result. In reality, the way to go about discernment is to maintain constant communication with God, to consistently acknowledge His Holy Presence in your life and bring your day-to-day life into your prayers. God presents Himself to us through innumerable ways on any given day, and a cornerstone of prayer is noticing Him there. If, however, you were like me in college worrying about the final result instead of an actionable next step, it is easy to miss God and lose out on quality discernment. It is only through regular prayer that God can reveal Himself clearly to us. Prayer has the power to make sense of the chaos that rules our lives in the twenty-first century. A meditation or Examen in the morning or evening can lead one to see God's personal actions daily and enable us to bring God into our lives more actively. Retreats—whether a day-long, weekend long, or self-paced at-home retreats—can allow us to break down longer stints of our lives, see God's presence, and reorient us for larger decisions that might be facing us. Once I realized that my larger vocation questions were not going to be answered unless I discerned daily, it allowed me to become more attuned with God and deepen my prayer life. I began to see how God was strengthening me as a boyfriend, fiancé, and now husband to support and be supported by my now wife. Additionally, by focusing my prayer on the daily actions of my studying and student-teaching internships and being the best teacher I could be, I was able to see how God works in and through me in my career. This realization enabled me to be confident in a career decision that was not something I would have considered when I was beginning my undergraduate experience. As many have said before, God rarely comes to us in beatific visions with clear instructions on how to live our lives for Him. Instead, Jesus comes to us through people and events around us, hoping to guide us along the way of life. Discernment is looking for trail markers that Jesus leaves for us; we are looking to understand the roadmap He laid out for us. Author:Christian Bordak-Roseman serves as a Religion Teacher at St. John's College High School in Washington DC. El sistema de salud no puede aceptar trampas, por eso decidimos actuar. Hablamos de casos que se destacaron por tener puntajes inusualmente altos. En muchos de ellos, la nota obtenida no se corresponde con los antecedentes académicos ni con el rendimiento histórico de sus universidades. Entre ellos hubo un caso que se lo dio simbólico. Un extranjero que obtuvo 92 puntos filmando el examen con anteojos especiales. Engañó al sistema. Intentó robarle el lugar a un médico honesto que estudió y se preparó. Esto no es un error técnico. Current Sermon Series At the End of the Day: 7 Questions for Mindful Living May 4 – June 22 The Apostle Paul once wrote, “Test yourselves to make sure you are solid in the faith. Don't drift along taking everything for granted. Give yourselves regular checkups. You need firsthand evidence… that Christ is in you. Test it out” (2 Corinthians 13:5, The Message). With those words, Paul urges us to take inventory of our lives daily—to “review the tapes” to see where we might have lived up to our faith, and where we might have fallen short. In this series, we'll put a new twist on an old form of prayer called “The Examen” which gives us a formula for intentional self-examination at the end of each day. How can we yield our own will to God's purposes if we are not conscious of our own shortcomings? How can we see where God has shown up in our lives if we do not reflect on the experiences and encounters of our day?  Join us as we explore 7 questions for honest self-examination at the end of our day.

This guided practice is a part of our series Stories of Atonement. At the heart of the gospel is a story of Christ's redeeming work. How we understand this story impacts who we understand God to be, how we see ourselves, and how we relate with God. In this series, we will consider what Jesus accomplishes in his life, death, and resurrection, and we will seek to live in the fullness Christ's atoning work. In this examen practice, we reflect on the work of Jesus. How might we rightly see sin as a tragedy and experience Christ's atonement as a restoration of intimacy and union with God?  This practice comes from the second week of the series.
