A quick turnaround from playing in the first week of November, Manitobans were back out playing this past week with the boys getting out to play at Southside and John Blumberg. Matt Jones ended his 7 year win drought with a 5 shot victory at The Honda Classic, and a solid week for Canadian golf with Adam Hadwin and Adam Svensson snagging top 10s at The Honda Classic and Chitimacha Louisiana Open, respectively. Finally, Aaron Cockerill made his first cut of the season on the European Tour over at the Magical Kenya Open with 3 closing 69s.
The boys watched anxiously on the weekend with past guests Tom Hoge finding himself in the final group on Sunday at the Mayakoba Golf Classic, and Aaron Cockerill being in contention at the South African Open. With a birdie on the 72nd hole at Mayakoba, Viktor Hovland joins the company of Rory McIlroy, Seve Ballesteros, Sergio Garcia, and Jon Rahm by becoming a European with multiple PGA Tour victories before the age of 24.
