Hale, always thoughtful and candid, revisits his storied experiences at Augusta National, sharing his personal connection to the Masters and what it meant to walk its hallowed grounds—both as a competitor and a steward of the game's history. With insight only a three-time U.S. Open champion can provide, Hale opens up about how his game fit—or didn't fit—the iconic venues of each major. He offers a behind-the-scenes look at the mental and physical toll of playing The Open Championship, revealing why family time, the grind of travel, and those rainy days with fogged-up glasses sometimes outweighed teeing it up across the pond. From the roars of Augusta to the winds of Royal Lytham & St. Annes, Hale reflects on the challenges, triumphs, and close calls—like his proud 64 at the Masters and duels with legends like Seve Ballesteros and Tom Watson. We also touch on the PGA Championship, and Hale's personal choices around scheduling, family priorities, and staying true to his own rhythm, even in the face of major championship expectations. With humor, humility, and unmatched perspective, Hale Irwin shares stories that remind us that greatness isn't only measured in trophies, but also in the values that guide a life in golf. His victory at Bay Hill also earned him a spot in the 1979 Masters, where he got his first taste of Augusta National.

The PGA Fall is still producing emotional and important wins as Rafael Campos claimed his first career victory, just days after becoming a father, at the Butterfield Championship in Bermuda. The Race to Dubai came to a close as Rory McIlroy claimed his 3th consecutive DP World Tour season title, his 6th overall, as he ties Seve Ballesteros and looks to overtake Colin Montgomery's record 8 titles. The LPGA's ANNIKA driven by Gainbridge included a lot of big names, like the GOAT Annika herself, Caitlin Clark at the ProAm, and more. But the hype outpaced the fight as it was a disappointment in the ring, and on the Netflix stream. In Tuned In, Michael shares an update to his flooded car situation, and Alex uncovers a Quinnipiac connection to a new hit TV show, and highlights the fastest moving Christmas songs in the Top 100.In Pop Politics, Alex wonders what's the best way to ask for and give gifts for Christmas, while Michael is shocked at a new 4-year long cruise to "escape the Trump Presidency."Inside the NBA has been a staple on TNT's coverage for decades, and it all looked like it was coming to an end as the NBA ended its partnership with TNT Sports. But it looks like it will rise again to keep Ernie, Chuck, Kenny and the guys together.Alex's Baby Bets rebounded in college football, continuing his winning season on small bets.In the NFL, the Chiefs have finally fallen, while Alex's Patriots lose again, and even on a bye week Michael's Giants find new ways to lose.As the guys #AlwaysEndWithFood, Alex asks how much turkey is too much turkey? In an episode that will be known as Brendan's "Flu Game," Andy and Brendan recap a meaningful week of fall golf that left men's winners in tears following their wins. Andy is excited that he drove through Moore County, North Carolina without receiving a speeding ticket, unlike at the U.S. Open. After a "Nico Echavarria Minute" to start the golf talk, the two discuss Rory McIlroy's win in Abu Dhabi, his sixth DP World Tour season-long title, tying Seve Ballesteros. Rory was deeply emotional following the win, looking back at his year that contained four worldwide wins and now the order of merit victory for the DP World Tour. The ten DP World Tour players that secured PGA Tour cards are also set, with "The Great" Manassero and Rasmus Højgaard headlining the newcomers. Next up is Swag Sports Minute, where Brendan unboxes the latest "Mystery Bx" drop from Swag Golf. Andy is disappointed in the Bears following another loss to the Packers, but sees positives in Caleb Williams's performance. PJ's Jets struggled again, as known golfer Ahmad Gardner could not tackle yet another receiver headed toward the end zone. The golf talk gets back on track with a wrap up of the Butterfield, won by Rafael Campos. Nelly Korda won again at The Annika, leading to a debate on whether Pelican Golf Club should "Nelly-proof" the course ahead of next year. To finish things up, Andy and Brendan touch on the news of President-Elect Donald Trump playing a round with Jay Monahan this weekend before sitting next to Yasir Al-Rumayyan at Saturday night's UFC event.

The job facing Tony Jacklin, the unlikely captain who took the reins of the European team as Ryder Cup captain in 1983, was a massive one: He had to bring an end to decades of American dominance. The situation on the ground was dire, and to put it plainly, he was inheriting a mess. Since the Cup began in 1927, Americans had won 20 times, lost three, and tied once. Even the addition of Team Europe in 1979, designed to level the playing field, hadn't stopped the U.S. from delivering two straight humiliations. Facing a talent gap, and playing on American soil, he had to stop history in its tracks. The remarkable transformation Jacklin engineered starting that year in Florida was as much psychological as it was tactical, and he had at his side the ideal playing lieutenant in Seve Ballesteros, a man who would become a Ryder Cup colossus. Together, they led the Europeans on a mission to win for the first time ever on American soil, and to redefine the entire event. What they accomplished over those three days was the start of one of the great turnaround stories in the history of sport.
The Hall of Fame and eight-time Major Champion, Tom Watson, sat down with Gary Williams. They spend the first part of the conversation on his new passions, competitive horse cutting and Watson Links, an initiative to get more kids into the game. From there the two go deep into the game of golf from his recent "open letter" to Jay Monahan, his feeling on the size of fields and the importance of the cut. They discuss the 1993 Ryder Cup, the last time the American side won on Eurpoean soil, the impact of Seve Ballesteros and his one dream match.

In the second hour, Dan Bernstein and Laurence Holmes were joined by Golfweek senior writer David Dusek to discuss Jon Rahm rallying to win the Masters on Sunday at Augusta National Golf Club. Bernstein and Holmes then discussed whether White Sox right-hander Michael Kopech has solved his pitch-tipping problem. Kopech was raked for five home runs and seven runs in 4 2/3 innings against the Giants last Monday but had a bounce-back performance against the Pirates on Sunday. Later during the High Noon segment, Bernstein and Holmes listened and reacted a minor league baseball broadcast that turned an at-bat into Masters-like commentary.

Unknowingly using the Lord's name in vain during the Butler Cabin presentation, he began his personal faith journey the following week at a Tour bible study taught by Larry Moody. When he comfortably repeated as Masters Champion in 1993 by 4 over Chip Beck, he was able to invoke God's name in a positive way during his post-victory remarks.
