Caleb & Derek (@derekrusinek) are here to go through the world of the NFL. The NFL is finally coming back. We are in September. It's a beautiful start of the season. The Brodies get it kicked off on this episode by talking about Brandon Aiyuk and Trent Williams getting extensions from the San Francisco 49ers and yet Ja'Marr Chase is still holding out and we aren't sure when he will return for the Cincinnati Bengals. We also eliminate our first team from the NFL Playoffs, go through a team each that we are buying and selling, and announce our official playoff teams and Super Bowl teams for the year. Then the guys jump in and give their x-factors for the NFL kickoff game between the Ravens and the Chiefs. Finally, the guys recap how they did with their picks during week 1 of the college football season and make their picks for week 1 of the NFL season during their Brodie Bets. Caleb and Derek (@derekrusinek) are here to go through the world of the NFL. Wow! The Legal Tampering Period in the NFL just began on Monday and it's been a crazy day and a half. They start by going through a lot of the various positions and hitting the spotlights in the news and then diving into players and teams that are more interesting to them. It begins with the lineman, living on the EDGE, Backing into the linebackers, going into the secondary, before going to the pass catchers, running backs, and finally, the quarterbacks. Last but not least, the Brodies take a closer look at two teams and how they are building their rosters, looking deeper at the Jacksonville Jaguars and Washington Commanders, as they have both spent a lot in the early days of free agency. We will see how it all pays out this Fall. Theme music by The Riley Brothers Band. Caleb and Derek (@derekrusinek) are here to go through the world of the sports. Of course this week it all has to go to recapping the events of Super Bowl LVIII in Las Vegas Nevada. The game between the San Francisco 49ers and Kansas City Chiefs was so good it needed another quarter. The 25-22 win is broken down by the Brodies by some of the mistakes that both teams made, the best moments in the big game, where we were right and wrong beforehand, and some of the critical choices that were made in the game. Then the Brodies shared their final thoughts and closed out the episode. Theme music by The Riley Brothers Band. Caleb and Derek (@derekrusinek) are here to go through the world of the sports. They go through the coaching dominos in the NFL coaching carousel and then how the NFL & college carousel are interacting with Jeff Hafley going to the Green Bay Packers as the Defensive Coordinator and leaving the reins as the Head Coach of Boston College. Then the Brodies discuss international as the Philadelphia Eagles are set up to kickoff the 2024 NFL season in Sao Paulo, Brazil. Finally, the Brodies get to the big game by having an impact player draft and a prop bet draft, and close things out by making the score predictions. Theme music by The Riley Brothers Band. Caleb (@kdiggs74) and Derek (@derekrusinek) are here to go through the world of the NFL. We start with a review of 2023 first rounders and their early success, jump into the NBA in-season tournament issues, and talk about Angel Reese and LSU losing their season opener. We get into our Goats of the week as CJ Stroud threw for five touchdowns, and Zach Wilson threw for none. The Stockwatch is AFC Heavy this week as they dive into QB Depth issues, Dolphins lacking a playoff push, and the strength of the AFC North with the Bengals having an extra gear. Then it's to the game of the week for week 10 as the Brodies preview the New Orleans Saints at the Minnesota Vikings. Finally it is the Brodie Bets for week 10 of the NFL season. Caleb (@kdiggs74) and Derek (@derekrusinek) are here to go through the world of the NFL. This time they give each of their spotlights on headlines or different reactions from the past week. This included talking Megan Rapinoe finishing her USWNT career, Caleb introducing his five Tier 1 NFL Teams, and Haley Van Voorhis making history in DIII Football. They talk through their GOATs of the week in Mike McDaniel and Matt LaFleur. In the stockwatch you see some former Eagles assistants getting some buy in from the Brodies before they sell the USC Trojans and Caleb Williams ability to repeat as the Heisman trophy winner. Then they turn to the Lions at Packers Thursday Night Matchup and some of the specific positional matchups they are looking at in that contest. Finally it is the Brodie Bets where they were fairly average in week 3 but are looking to improve here in week4. Theme music by The Riley Brothers Band. Caleb (@kdiggs74) is here to go through the world of sports. Unfortunately this week Derek had technical issues and was unable to record, but the show must go on. This week it all starts with some news from College Football as parody is back again, the ACC is scavenging more teams from the PAC-12, and the US Open appears to be set for a rematch. Then it's the GOAT of the week, where they pick their best or worst players or teams to highlight for their recent performances. After that it's to the matchups to watch on the field in the TNF opener between the Detroit Lions and Kansas City Chiefs. Then it is over to the NFL stockwatch where they give some teams they are buying and selling to start the 2023 season. Finally, the Brodies get their high fives and handshakes ready as they do the Brodie Bets for week 1 of the NFL season with their favorite teams, picking favorites and underdogs, and then having a bonus pick which is their wildcard. Caleb (@kdiggs74) and Derek (@derekrusinek) are here to go through the world of sports. This week it is all about NFL cuts as there were many surprising cuts as NFL teams are going down to 53 players and even have a few trades as well. Colt McCoy, Jeff Driskel, Trey Lance, Trevor Siemian, Nathan Peterman, Jonathan Taylor, Myles Gaskin, Boogie Basham, Isaiah Simmons, and Kickers are all discussed. Then the Brodies get their high fives and handshakes ready as they do the Brodie Bets for week 1 of the college football season with their favorite teams, picking favorites and underdogs, and then having a bonus pick which is their wildcard. Caleb (@kdiggs74) and Derek (@derekrusinek) are here to go through the world of sports. This time they start off with the USMNT as they are trying to repeat as Gold Cup Champions in CONCACAF. They had a fierce 2-2 (3-2 PK) win over Canada on Sunday night in a thrilling game, and will face Panama in the semi-finals and the other semi-final is Jamaica vs Mexico. After that it is time to discuss Pat Fitzgerald's recent firing in light of hazing accusations and not controlling his football program, and it also appeared he was aware of what was going on. Caleb (@kdiggs74) and Derek (@derekrusinek) are here to go through the world of sports. They start by looking at some of the regionals as the NCAA Softball tournament is starting now, and the May Madness is a bit more crazy than March Madness. Then we talk a bit about Josh Harris the new owner of the Washington Commanders. Goodbye Dan! Then it's to the world of education as Jalen Hurts earned his Masters this past weekend. We talk about how impressive he has been in his work ethic as Jalen Hurts just continues to impress. Last but not least, the Brodies dive into their NBA Conference Finals predictions as the Denver Nuggets and Los Angeles Lakers are in the Western Conference Finals while the Boston Celtics and Miami Heat are in the Eastern Conference Finals. Caleb (@kdiggs74) and Derek (@derekrusinek) are here to go through the world of sports. They start across the pond but in France as they discuss Messi and his suspension as he missed team activities as a travel ambassador for Saudi Arabia. PSG will likely be fine in Ligue 1, but it's certainly an odd time to step away in the final month of the year. Then it's to allegations of tampering around Andrew Luck, who hasn't played in the NFL since 2018. Why would someone do that? Then it's to the NBA as the Lakers have shocked the Warriors, and the Heat have surprised the Bucks, as play-in winners had not done much in the playoffs prior to this year. Next up it's NFL news as the city of Munich generated $77.5 Million in revenue with the NFL coming to town last year before the Brodies close by naming who we would like to see the Chiefs host to kickoff the season as the NFL schedule is about to be released soon. Caleb (@kdiggs74) and Derek (@derekrusinek) are here to go through the world of the NFL. This time the Brodies go into the NFL Draft as they recap the wildness that was the 2023 NFL Draft. They start with the quarterbacks, as three went in the first four picks, and they were the only three to go in the first round. They were Bryce Young to the Carolina Panthers, CJ Stroud to the Houston Texans, and Anthony Richardson to the Indianapolis Colts. Will Levis did slide down to the Tennessee Titans early in round 2. Then the Texans took an offensive and defensive player for their franchise as they paired Stroud with Will Anderson Jr. the edge rusher from Alabama. Did they pay too much to do it though? Next up the Brodies discuss Bijan Robinson and Jahmyr Gibbs both going in the top 12 as running backs haven't been taken that high lately. Finally it's a conversion of all the Georgia Bulldogs that have been drafted by the Philadelphia Eagles as they took several last year and took several more this year in Jalen Carter and Nolan Smith. Then the Brodies jump into a conversation about their teams with Derek going through the five picks selected by the Denver Broncos and Caleb dives into the thirteen picks selected by the Green Bay Packers. It's a fun one that you won't want to miss. Theme music by The Riley Brothers Band.
