Since taking over she has won about two-thirds of her game as head coach, leading the Garnet to a 2023 Centennial Conference title and appearance in the NCAA Tournament. Oklahoma is gunning for their 4th straight National Championship. Head Coach Patty Gasso once again has assembled an outstanding squad. However, the Sooners were dealt a very tough draw. Boston University is 52-4 and heading to the Norman Regional as a 3-seed. Also, Oregon is Norman bound, and some of their coaching staff previously worked at Oklahoma under Gasso. Texas was awarded with the No. 1 overall seed. In result, the Austin Regional looks pretty light on paper. No. 3 overall Tennessee hosts one of the most intriguing mid-majors in their regional this weekend. Miami Ohio has by far the most powerful offense this season.
