The THE MORNING SHIFT podcast is an absolute gem that I have been enjoying all the way from Los Angeles, CA. It provides listeners with a unique and familiar Pasifika tone that instantly makes you feel at home. The hosts have a crack-up and chill out discussion style that is not only entertaining but also comforting for islanders who haven't been back home in a while. It's like having a piece of home wherever you go.
One of the best aspects of this podcast is the sense of belonging it creates. As an Afakasi born in Houston, I used to tune in where the hosts used to work and was sad to see them leave. However, their ability to create something of their own is truly awesome and well-deserved. THE MORNING SHIFT offers everything you wish radio talk had and didn't have. The boys always manage to make my days at work more enjoyable, providing laughter and smiles through their humor and relatable discussions.
While it's challenging to find any faults with this podcast, one aspect that could be improved upon is the frequency of new episodes. As a dedicated listener, I eagerly anticipate each new episode, but sometimes there can be longer gaps between releases. It would be great if they could provide more consistent content for their eager audience.
In conclusion, I absolutely love THE MORNING SHIFT podcast! Being a Maori abroad, it makes me feel incredibly connected to the humor and fun of home. This channel has become a staple for me as it provides not only entertainment but also a sense of belonging and relatability that can be hard to find when living away from your roots.
