For the first time in too long, Spring is back and the Grinders are back together. What better way to enjoy the nice weather than to kick back in a hammock and listen to a new episode of RPGrinders? There isn't, because it's a new episode with new reviews, new Stinkos, new Sweetos, new Panic Zone, and new news! There is no better way to enjoy the Spring air than to crank up the loudest speaker and listen to the Grinders deliver the news. After listening to the latest episode of Grinders, or binging several, there are some new games and updates coming to help fill time before the end of the season. New games Runa and Gestalt: Steam & Cinder are coming soon, while Remnant 2 and Fallout 4 receive new dlc. Exploring the waste land sounds like a fun Spring activity. Although the afternoons are nice and warm, the Spring evenings can still be cold. It's time to go inside and bundle-up on the couch. Relax and experience something new. Maybe jump back into the world of horror with a movie like Bagman, or experience the end of the DCMU with Aquaman 2 and the Suicide squad. For every beautiful Spring day there is another Spring day that is just as cold and nasty as the Stinkos! Then we have the United States police force that seems to be nastier than even Mother Nature's worst days! The Grinders also mourn the death of a legendary actor. In the cold winter months, Frank warmed everyone with a new feature. Now the season has changed to Spring is there a better way to celebrate than the return of the Panic Room? TWO PANIC ROOMS! That's right, this episode has two new scenarios for the Grinders to tackle. Eric puts math and technology to the test while Frank offers another situation that involves everyone's favorite giant thunder lizard. Now it's time to enjoy the Spring. Go outside. Lay about. Listen to RPGrinders and ignore all of the household chores. I almost called it "Pegging Frank" but I didn't want to "disappear" like the other co-hosts.
Damon and Marcel hit the ground running with Damon's review of Ant-Man: QuantumMania and Damon has a Star Trek confession. There's more DCMU talk and Damon and Marcel each find out that they both have a “encounter with a lesbian” story.
Is DC stepping their games up or is Marvel going to take it for another year? How did Wonder Woman hold up in MrMistaKing's view? What else are we looking foward to? Your host MrMistaKing along with Techboy try to figure this out.
The Chris and I have a discussion about Batman and how the DCMU doesn't seem to know what to do with him exactly, or any of their characters when it comes to making a movie. We talk a bit about previous Batman films, a Batman "in movie" theory and the upcoming Batman movie. Also, as if they would be left out, our tangents. also for the song used in the new intro:Nebula by Savfk | https://www.youtube.com/savfkmusicMusic promoted by https://www.free-stock-music.comAttribution 4.0 International (CC BY 4.0)https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/4.0/
JJ Abrams has signed a deal with Warner Bros. Today I thought I would share some personal reflections on the future of the DC cinematic universe. Thanks for listening everybody :-) I love you all!
I'm so excited to bring such a fun ep to you guys! My snap followers (@Milliter23) know that I'm infamous for my rants and raves particularly with movies. Tune in as I delve into this (spoiler-free) review of the latest addition to the roster of Spiderman movies. Although overshadowed by my love for DC Comics (alternatively, my loyalty through the DCMU), I really have always enjoyed Spiderman throughout different forms of media. So let's delve into the Spiderverse! While Haddix is out on paternity leave, Hougie and Kiser are here to hold down the fort as they break down and review the next installment in the DC Movie universe in Wonder Woman. From the onscreen chemistry of Gal Gadot and Chris Pine to how Diana empowers women, nothing is off the table for this week's review.
The guys are goin' down the rabbit trail again. So let's talk about Wonder Woman and how important competition in movies is. Let's talk about scaring our friends and being scarred for life watching a really inappropriate movie with our grandmothers. Join the conversation @BigNTallGaming and facebook.com/BigAndTallGaming
Danny Rand, along with the Justice League, take center stage of Episode 40 as we review Season One of the Netflix original series, Iron Fist, and discuss the Justice League trailer. We look back at Iron Fist history and debate whether or not critics were justified in their series reviews. And, can Justice League right the DCMU universe, or will Wonder Woman carry the weight? Hosted by Clarence Brown, Kyle Jones, and guest co-host, Andy Sims.

>>Novel bacteriochlorophyll e structures and species-specific variability of pigment composition in green sulfur bacteria>Characterization and in situ carbon metabolism of phototrophic consortia>The significance of organic carbon compounds for in situ metabolism and chemotaxis of phototrophic consortia
Abstract Purple bacterial aggregates found in tidal pools of Great Sippewissett Salt Marsh (Falmouth, Cape Cod, MA) were investigated in order to elucidate the ecological significance of cell aggregation. Purple sulfur bacteria were the dominant microorganisms in the aggregates which also contained diatoms and a high number of small rod-shaped bacteria. Urea in concentrations of ≥ 1 M caused disintegration of the aggregates while proteolytic enzymes, surfactants or chaotropic agents did not exhibit this effect. This suggests that polysaccharides in the embedding slime matrix stabilize the aggregate structure. In addition cell surface hydrophobicity is involved in aggregate formation. The concentration of dissolved oxygen decreased rapidly below the surface of aggregates while sulfide was not detected. The apparent respiration rate in the aggregates was high when the purple sulfur bacteria contained intracellular sulfur globules. In the presence of DCMU, respiration remained light-inhibited. Light inhibition disappeared in the presence of KCN. These results demonstrated that respiration in the aggregates is due mainly to purple sulfur bacteria. The concentration of bacteriochlorophyll (Bchl) a in the aggregates (0.205 mg Bchl a cm−3) was much higher than in the pool sediments but comparable to concentrations in microbial mats of adjacent sand flats. Purple aggregates may therefore originate in the microbial mats rather than in the pools themselves. Rapid sedimentation and high respiration rates of Chromatiaceae in the aggregates would prevent the inhibition of Bchl synthesis if aggregates were lifted off the sediment and up into the oxic pool water by tidal currents.
After treatment with the carboxylic ionophore monensin theChlorella containing perialgal vacuoles of the greenParamecium bursaria swell. TheParamecium cells remain motile at this concentration for at least one day. The swelling is only observed in illuminated cells and can be inhibited by DCMU. We assume that during photosynthesis the perialgal vacuoles are acidified and that monensin exchanges H+ ions against monovalent cations (here K+). In consequence the osmotic value of the vacuoles increases. The proton gradient is believed to drive the transport of maltose from the symbiont into the host. Another but light independent effect of the monensin treatment is the swelling of peripheral alveoles of the ciliates, likewise indicating that the alveolar membrane contains an active proton pump.
