It's world war II back in time in a different timeline! Make sense? Vandal Savage makes his debut in the Justice League, and he's the type of villain that makes for great story telling! Time travel, war, future tech out of time and tons of aerial battles! The team gets pulled into an alternate timeline where the Nazis are winning the war, and Savage is the new fuhr! All but Batman are there, that is until they run into this timeline's version of him, and he doesn't know who they are! It's then all out aerial assault as the allies try to fend off the regime of the Nazi's new superior tech machines thanks to Savage and his time travel shenanigans! Green Lantern runs out of juice! Can he still make a difference reverting back to his military training? Wonder Woman meets a different Steve Trevor, but love still blooms even with war all around them! From Crisis to Crisis - The Married Years (A Superman and Lois Podcast)
Welcome to the two hundredth and sixty-fourth episode of From Crisis to Crisis: A Superman Podcast! This podcast has a simple premise; examine just about every Superman comic published between Man of Steel #1 in 1986 to Adventures of Superman #649 in 2006 in an informative and hopefully entertaining format. Final Night continues! This time out Mike and Jeff continue their coverage of Final Night by looking at the main books and crossovers that came out during Week Two! First up is Adventures of Superman #540, which introduces the Post Zero Hour version of Ferro! We find out his tragic backstory, which involves his famous mother not wanting to admit that she had kids because Andrew and his brother had facial deformities, which makes her a fantastic human being in that “not at all” kind of way. We also get more of Lori Lemaris, who becomes a theater critic for the Daily Planet, and Perry shows up at the Planet despite looking half past dead. Then, in Final Night #2, things go from bad to really bad as the heat from the sun dissipates and humanity starts freaking the freak out. Lex Luthor arrives to help and is just a giant jerk to just about everyone. But that's Lex for you. And since Final Night is a disaster film type story you do need the one scientist that is egotistical and just rubs everyone else the wrong way. The rest of the issue is the heroes running around and dealing with the natural consequences of the sun going, though sometimes it's dealing with things like Vandal Savage wanting to steal the Mona Lisa. Like last time, the boys look at the other Final Night crossover issues, which include Supergirl #3, Batman #536, and Green Arrow #114! I got the magic in me! Chamar and Andrew are back with yet another episode as we continue our coverage of Young Justice with the Zatanna arc of the Phantoms season. The magical world is in disarray when the Lords of Chaos decide to send a new champion to destroy the world. Luckily for us, Zatanna and her new Sentinels of Magic step up when the Lords of Order are dispelled from the shock. Also, more Vandal Savage, who may be everyone's great-great-great-great-great...-this might explain why this episode is so long.As always, we are here to ask the big questions: Does the story make sense? How does it compare to the comic? Is it a good addition to the universe? And most importantly, is there going to be a copyright issue with the Magic School Bus?Follow Yet Another DC Animated Podcast on social media @yadcanimatedpod. Help the Bear! Chamar and Andrew are back with yet another episode as we continue our coverage of Young Justice with episodes 7-8 of the Outsiders season. We get to learn the history of Vandal Savage and the extent some heroes will go for justice. As always, we are here to ask the big questions: Does the story make sense? How does it compare to the comic? Is it a good addition to the universe? And most importantly, how did Vandal Savage help anthropologists everywhere?Follow Yet Another DC Animated Podcast on social media @yadcanimatedpod or check us out at Forgotten Entertainment.Support our journey through the DC Animated Universe!

Hey there, Flashers! Oh, wait, I mean, friends! In this episode, Ross and I tackle a very important issue of The Flash. Not only is it a cool crossover between Earth 1 and Earth 2 characters, but it gives us the revival of the JSA as well! They'd been on a hiatus for quite sometime, but it takes a villain like Vandal Savage to bring them back together (thanks to Barry and Jay, of course). And if that's not enough, we had our own cheering section in the background for this recording (OK, they were cheering on people in a 10k, but hey, one can dream)! So join us, as we join the fleet-footed heroes on this adventure. As usual, if you want to leave any feedback you can do so through email at Aworldonfirepodcast@gmail.com or to the show on Twitter @AllSquadron or on the shows FB page (just search A World on Fire podcast). You can find Ross on Twitter and other social media sites @JSA4E and definitely give a follow for his podcasts, as he covers some really fun material like Starman, The Legion of Super Heroes, and more! Phil Morris - Trek Untold Encore One of the folks on my big list of guests to get when I first started this podcast included this man, Phil Morris. Last week, we flashed back to what was originally the fifth episode of this podcast with an interview with his sister Iona. This week we jump ahead to episode 26, where we spoke with this incredibly accomplished character actor whose resume speaks for itself. Enjoy this classic episode you may have never heard before: Phil Morris is another of those actors whose face you've seen many times (200 to be exact) but whose name you may not have known until today. His father is the famous Greg Morris from the original "Mission: Impossible" show, and we spoke with his sister Iona Morris a few months back on this show, so acting is in his family's blood! Phil has been in the Star Trek franchise FIVE times, starting when he was a child in the original series in the season 1 episode "Miri." He explains how he got cast on the show and the scene they didn't warn any of the kids about! Over 20 years later, Phil returned to Trek and worked face to face with William Shatner in "Star Trek 3: The Search for Spock" and recalls the brilliant piece of direction Leonard Nimoy told him before his scene. John Kelly in "One Small Step," what it was like being directed by his acting school classmate Robert Picardo, and what big emotions came up filming this episode. Trek Untold: The Star Trek Podcast That Goes Beyond The Stars!
One of the folks on my big list of guests to get when I first started this podcast included this man, Phil Morris.
