Today we get to the fulcrum on which all our faith pivots - the crucifixion of Jesus Christ. His cross opens up the way to eternal life. And we must pick up our crosses daily to follow him. Hebrews 2:10-18 fmhouston.com
Ken breaks down how through the crucifixion, Jesus became our high priest. He is the restorer. But he took the lowest form he could when he did it. “If you are going to participate in the life of Jesus, it is impossible to separate from a call of being a family. You cannot do it. There is no taking hold of the grace of God and rejecting your brother and sister.” Hebrews 2:10-18 fmhouston.com

Preacher: John Hudson Music: Leslie Edis & Joanna Justus Today John is taking us through the third topic in our series on The Apostle's Creed - Jesus: Dead And Buried. Though the creed is not scripture, it clearly states beliefs that all Christians hold - the beliefs that are consistent across all churches and denominations. The statements contained in the creed are all substantiated by scripture. This message looks at the third line of The Creed: "He suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, died, and was buried." John shows us that Christianity could be easily falsified by simply proving that Jesus did not die. However, history has proven that he did in fact die and was buried. He didn't "sort of die", he 100% died and was buried. Red Door is an Anglican Church in Melbourne, Australia. We exist to be a community of people helping people make all of life all about Jesus.

Rev. Terence Gray takes us deeper into the heart of the Apostles' Creed, exploring the profound truths of Jesus' suffering, crucifixion, and triumphant resurrection. With a personal anecdote about misunderstanding communion, Pastor Terence invites us into a reflection on grace, shame, and redemption. This sermon dismantles the lies of condemnation, highlighting Jesus' role as our mediator who fully embraced humiliation to offer us eternal paradise. Drawing from Luke 23 and 1 Peter 3, it emphasizes Jesus' victory over sin and death, affirming that even in our lowest moments, we can proclaim His victory and hold onto hope.

PUBLIC VERSION. Legendary actor and horror icon Robert Englund (A NIGHTMARE ON ELM STREET, V: THE FINAL BATTLE, STRANGER THINGS, HATCHET, BEHIND THE MASK: THE RISE OF LESLIE VERNON) joins Adam, Joe, and Arwen for a wonderful conversation about his 50 year journey through Hollywood and his lifelong love affair with cinema. From the importance of film festivals and why every filmmaker needs to experience seeing their work with an audience whenever possible… to why he thinks Montreal is the best city to visit in the summer… to shooting by international candlelight… to why he adores Lance Henriksen… to how he considers taking on new projects and how he's held on to his love of acting for half a century… to why he believes a director's ability to command a room with their unabashed passion is the very key to securing a production's budget… to why the modern deluge of streaming content is giving today's audiences “entertainment fatigue”… to what he felt went wrong behind the scenes of his directorial effort 976-EVIL… to his process behind becoming “Victor Creel” and his season stealing performance in Netflix's monster hit STRANGER THINGS… to the emotional experience of seeing the new documentary HOLLYWOOD DREAMS AND NIGHTMARES: THE ROBERT ENGLUND STORY (now on Screambox and available for digital rental/purchase) for the very first time at the Sitges International Film festival in Spain… to deeply personal stories about how Robert has been one of Adam's cinematic angels in his journey as a filmmaker… this is an extremely candid conversation with Robert Englund that you simply won't hear anywhere else. You can hear all of Robert's greatest hits and “Freddy” stories in the awesome new documentary, in his 2009 autobiography HOLLYWOOD MONSTER, and in the phenomenally comprehensive NIGHTMARE ON ELM STREET documentary NEVER SLEEP AGAIN… but this truly special fly on the wall conversation between three filmmakers (who are still just movie fans themselves) is something you can only get from THE MOVIE CRYPT.

We're almost done. Two to go for this trash show. The writers pretended the plot was over at the end of the last episode, so we're treated to a lame recap where they try to lampshade their poor storytelling. A bunch of stuff happens off screen, and we're told, not shown, a bunch of random stuff to move the plot along. The evil Sheriff is revealed to be more evil, and the secret rapist becomes rather obvious. People got paid to write this…
