Sorry for the delay but I was "occupied" for the last week. On June 23rd Ground Game LA assisted @LAAgainstICE in a direct action targeting the Metropolitan Detention Center in downtown Los Angeles. We blocked driveways and chanted at employees. We came to take over the driveway on Aliso St, the driveway that is usually used for detainee buses and vans. Since then we have kept a constant vigil and a lively community has grown. I wanted to report on some of my experiences with this. It has been one of the hardest and most rewarding weeks of my life.
