The boys covered Vergil Ortiz Jr vs Eqdijus Kavaliauskas on DAZN, Andrew Moloney vs Joshua Franco and Nico Ali Walsh vs Jordan Weeks on Espn on ESPN, Joshua Buatsi vs Ricards Bolotniks back on DAZN, and John Riel Casimero in a snoozefest against Guillermo Rigondeaux. Then Fritz and Franco take on the PPV from August 21st, starting with Carlos Castro vs Oscar Escandon, Mark Magsayo vs Julio Ceja, and finally Manny Pacquiao vs Yordenis Ugas. As always, the boys break it all down, with a sense of humor.

MANNY PACQUIAO “I didn't like that someone took my belt without challenging me in the ring. Both of us are champions, but we'll see who has the belt after Saturday. “I'm praying for a fast recovery from Errol Spence Jr. and that he can fight again soon. I of course felt bad when I first heard the news, but it's a good thing that Ugas was ready to challenge me for the world title. I'm glad that we can settle that dispute about the WBA title. It's always better to talk in the ring. “It only took me two days to adjust to fighting Ugas. I have fought a lot of right handed fighters before. It would have been harder switching from preparing for a right hander to a southpaw. Most of my opponents have been right-handed, so there's nothing to worry about. “I feel young right now. I'm just happy with what I'm doing, because boxing is my passion. I enjoy training camp and I'm excited to sacrifice and be disciplined every day to prepare for a fight like this. “For the Keith Thurman fight I would do about 25 rounds a day, and now for this fight I'm doing 30 or more rounds a day. The coaches have had to try to stop me because I want to keep going. “If there's a chance for a knockout, then I'll go for it because that's what I want to give to the fans. I'm not underestimating Ugas though. He has a lot of experience in boxing and fought in the Olympics. I know I have to be very good to win this fight. “I never imagined what I would have accomplished in boxing from the beginning of my career leading up to now. I went from nothing to something in order to be an inspiration for people both inside and outside of the ring. This is going to be a good action fight and I'm going to do my best Saturday night because I love to make the fans happy.” Pacquiao vs. Ugás will see eight-division world champion and Philippine Senator Manny “Pacman” Pacquiao taking on WBA Welterweight World Champion Yordenis Ugás in the FOX Sports PBC Pay-Per-View main event Saturday, August 21 from T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas. Apple has had a class action complaint filed against them in January, and appeared in Los Angeles Superior Court on Thursday to argue that it shouldn’t be held liable for iPhone related distracted driving accidents. Julio Ceja, a resident of California, filed the complaint after being involved in an accident where the another driver was texting on an iPhone. Ceja complained that Apple should lock drivers out of their device completely whilst the vehicle is in motion. Apple have shared a new video series, highlighting the iPad and iOS 11. The promotional series of videos covers features such as multi-tasking, the new dock, the new Files app, signing documents, and mark up with the Apple Pencil. iOS 11 is expected to be released within the next month, shortly prior to the upcoming iPhone launch. A new feature discovered in the latest version of iOS 11 beta features the ability to disable Touch ID through the SOS feature. By pressing the sleep/wake button five times on an iPhone, the SOS screen appears, where you can see your Medical ID, or make a call to emergency services. If you cancel out of that screen, your passcode is needed to reactivate Touch ID. The feature is not advertised, and is being called by some the “Cop Button”, in response to authorities using force to unlock iPhones using a suspect’s fingerprint. Apple have set aside a ONE BILLION DOLLAR War Chest for Hollywood programming, according to the Wall Street Journal last Wednesday. This amount should see Apple produce as many as 10 television shows over the next year. Hollywood veterans Jamie Erlicht and Zack Van Amburg, who used to preside over Sony Pictures Television, are supposedly in control of the budget. Currently, Apple have released two television shows through Apple Music: Carpool Karaoke and Planet of The Apps.

Once more Premier Boxing Champions offered up a couple of good fights, this time on ESPN. Undefeated featherweight Leo Santa Cruz proved he was on Abner Mares' level and then some in winning a majority decision. And in the co-feature at Staples Center, super bantamweights Julio Ceja and Hugo Ruiz traded knockdowns in an entertaining battle before the Ceja scored a stoppage in the 5th. Credit where it's due. That doesn't mean that PBC's schedule is much to get excited about; they for some reason chose Marco Antonio Rubio to step in (and up in weight) against super middleweight Anthony Dirrell on Sunday, though the rematch between bantamweights Jamie McDonnell and Tomoki Kameda on the same card is intriguing. They should have switched it up and had that rematch headlining on CBS. There's also the matter of another rematch to discuss: Shane Mosley vs Ricardo Mayorga II. Whatever it is that needs to be said about that Pay-Per-View, we'll say it. Maybe there will be updates on Andre Berto's athleticism, show mascot Victor Ortiz's latest run-in with the law, Adrien Broner's most recent gift, and more. James Foley of Bad Left Hook and The Fight City's Patrick Connor will sherpa you through this. Like Top Men Boxing Radio on Facebook, and rate us on iTunes! Thanks for tuning in!
