Hour 2: We expect a lot of bad offense for our local NFL teams this week. And we could get some rain for Bears/Giants on Sunday. A caller thinks the Steelers offense is worse than the Jets offense. A caller hopes Angel Hernandez is not umpiring any of the Mets/Braves series. Jerry returns for an update, but first Gio tells us about a fake Brett Favre quote that PFT Commentor from Barstool put out and everybody ran with. Jerry has audio from Al Michaels calling the Tua injury. Dolphins Head Coach Mike McDaniel comments on Tua's injury. We have play by play from Bengals radio and they were hyped up as usual. The Mets are in Atlanta tonight and Buck Showalter was on with Carton & Roberts yesterday. Evan was disrespectful with one of his questions to Buck. Wink Martindale says Aaron Judge is awesome and it was cool to see him give the ball to his mom. In the final segment of the hour, a caller thinks the Bengals player that threw Tua down should be held accountable.

Hour 1: Boomer & Gio open with last night's Dolphins/Bengals game and focus on the injury suffered by Tua Tagovailoa. We talked about the independent neurologist on the sideline and booth. He cleared protocols last week. Tua's hands locked up after the hit which was very concerning to see. Jerry starts with audio from last night's Dolphins/Bengals game. We also heard from Dolphins Head Coach Mike McDaniel on the injury to Tua. Zach Wilson will be ready to go on Sunday in Pittsburgh. Jacob de Grom will be on the mound tonight in Atlanta. Kyrie Irving was asked about Aaron Judge's performance. Ohtani took a no-hitter into the 8th inning. In the final segment of the hour, we talked about Mets/Braves and how it is ‘playoff baseball'. This is a huge sports weekend with Mets/Braves, Judge's chase for 62, a Sunday morning London game and the NFL slate. We take a call from a retired ringside boxing doctor and it doesn't go well.  Hour 2: We expect a lot of bad offense for our local NFL teams this week. Gio says it will be the Giants as the Bears are terrible. Gio also thinks the Steelers offense is terrible. Zach Wilson will start this week for the Jets and Gio says it's like following the comedian that bombs (Joe Flacco being the comedian in this comparison). A caller makes a case for Ohtani as MVP based on his pitching and hitting combo. Jerry returns for an update but first we talked about Mike Breen's house fire. Nobody was home, including his pets, so there were no injuries. We have audio surrounding Tua's injury last night during the Dolphins/Bengals game. We heard from Dolphins Head Coach Mike McDaniel. Rob Saleh talked about Zach Wilson's return. Daniel Jones is happy he has Saquon on his team. Jerry has a preview sound from this Sunday's upcoming NFL games. The Mets & Braves get underway tonight in Atlanta. Buck Showalter was on with Carton & Roberts & talked relief pitching. Aaron Boone says Judge has set up a great atmosphere this weekend in the Bronx. In the final segment of the hour, we talked about Quinnen Williams gasping for air.  Hour 4: Reports are saying that Jameis Winston has four fractures in his back. What would Boomer prefer: The Mets sweeping the Braves or Zach Wilson having a huge game? Boomer says the Mets sweep for sure and tells Zach Wilson to figure it out. Tiki doesn't seem to be a fan of Zach Wilson. Gio thinks Bears/Giants is going to set football back 25 years. Jerry returns for an update and starts with the Tua injury from last night as we hear from Dolphins Head Coach Mike McDaniel. Teddy Bridgewater talks about coming in for Tua. The Bengals offensive line finally protected Joe Burrow. Mike Tomlin comments on preparing for Zach Wilson. The Mets/Braves get underway in Atlanta tonight. Today's word of the day is ‘40' as in Serena Williams as in almost 41 as in Serena Williams at 40 just took down the number 2 seed in the US Open. What? IU alum Peyton Hendershot made the Cowboys 53-man roster, and the Hoosiers are looking to pivot from a winless Big 10 season as Illinois visits tomorrow. Hour 1: Boomer & Gio start the morning with the Mets, who benefitted from a close call and avoided disaster, while the Yankees steamrolled a bad team. Hal Steinbrenner spoke on Wednesday and knows Aaron Judge could be in line for a record-breaking contract. Aaron Judge is being hurt by baseball's pay structure and the Yankees have World Series or bust expectations. Jerry is here for his first update of the morning but first, Gio brings up SNY's twitter video of umpire Angel Hernandez stretching. The Yankees destroyed the Pirates and Brendan Burke was great again filling in for John Sterling. Hal Steinbrenner met with the media and stood by the team's offer to Aaron Judge. The Mets came from behind to beat the Reds and there are more NBA rumors because of cryptic tweets. In the last segment of the hour, Boomer and Gio react to the Baker Mayfield trade. Boomer then looks at QB situations around the league and doesn't understand why the Bears are not helping Justin Fields.

Boomer then looks at QB situations around the league and doesn't understand why the Bears are not helping Justin Fields. Hour 2: The 7am hour starts with Peter in Mapleshade calling to provide an update on his run-in with Eagles head coach Nick Sirianni. Then, Radhames in the Bronx checks in. Jerry returns for an update and begins with the Yankees dominating the Pirates. Yankees fans surely enjoyed the offensive explosion but, as we hear, the Pirates broadcasters did not. The Mets beat the Reds, Brandon Nimmo led the way and the guys discover some obscure advanced stats. Donovan Mitchell sent out a cryptic tweet. Where will he and Kevin Durant end up? In the final segment of the hour, Gio learns about a colleague dealing with a medical situation and many callers share their experiences with kidney stones. Hour 3: The 8am hour starts with a discussion about Brian Cashman's future after Hal Steinbrenner mentioned it yesterday. Aaron Judge keeps hitting homers. The Yankees won a laugher and the Mets won but could use a few more blowout wins. The guys debate what to do about Judge and whether or not the Mets will still be in first place at the All-Star break. Boomer says the Yankees will not let the opportunity pass them by this season. Jerry has another update as the Yankees and Mets both won. Everyone predicts where the Mets will stand at the All-Star break and Jerry has audio of an incident with a chicken in Florida. In the final segment of the hour, Gio revisits a classic WFAN prank call and a new caller warns of the dangers of raising roosters. Gio talks about visitors bringing dogs to his house and a caller apologizes to Gio for something he said in 2019. Hour 4: The 9am hour starts with the guys wondering how long the Mets will be able to hold off the Braves. They are not optimistic. A caller wants his fellow Yankees fans to relax when it comes to Aaron Judge. Can a man-bun also be called a warrior-knot? Jerry stops by for his final update of the morning. The Yankees crushed the Pirates and the Mets came from behind to beat the Reds. Evan released another podcast and Boomer wonders if he hates Kevin Durant now. In the final segment of the show, Gio discusses an upcoming golf tournament he is playing in with other “D-list Sayville celebrities”.

Today is also a special day as June 9th is the anniversary of A's former manager Bob Geren's firing! As we all know, Dallas orchestrated an organizational-wide meeting with players and the front office and demanded that Geren was fired. This episode focuses on the special relationship between New York City and Puerto Rico, via the tales of pioneros, the first migrants to make the city their home and the many hundreds of thousands who came to the city during the great migration of the 1950s and 60s. Today there are more Puerto Ricans and people of Puerto Rican descent in New York City than in any other city in the nation — save for San Juan, Puerto Rico. And it has been so for decades. By the late 1960s, hundreds of thousands of Puerto Ricans lived in New York City, but in a metropolis of deteriorating infrastructure and financial woe, they often found themselves at the lowest rung of the socio-economic ladder, in poverty-stricken neighborhoods.Puerto Rican poets and artists associated with the Nuyorican Movement, activated by the needs of their communities, began looking back to their origins, asking questions. In this special episode Greg is joined by several guests to look at the stories of Puerto Ricans from the 1890s until the early 1970s. With a focus on the origin stories of New York's great barrios -- including East Harlem, the Lower East Side and the South Bronx.FEATURING The origin of the Puerto Rican flag and the first bodegas in New York City!WITH Dr. Yarimar Bonilla and Carlos Vargas-Ramos of CUNY's Center for Puerto Rican Studies at Hunter College (CENTRO), Kat Lloyd and Pedro Garcia of the Tenement Museum and Angel Hernandez of the Huntington Free Library and Reading Room and the Webby Award winning podcast Go Bronx.
