Happy Friday the 13th Junior Ambassadors!  In this episode Melissa and Jarrad celebrate a Friday the 13th in December by talking about the seminal classic: Tim Burton's The Nightmare Before Christmas.  If you're looking for a debate on which holiday you can watch this movie, keep scrolling; we watch this movie year round y'all!  Your hosts look back and cover all aspects of the movie from the score, to their favorite background citizens of Halloweentown.  SPOILER ALERT: Melissa and Jarrad are AGAINST a sequel/reboot to the film; you don't mess with perfection.

In the first offering of Nerdnited Nation's spooky treats for the month of October, Melissa and Jarrad take a trip to the pumpkin patch and while they wait up all night waiting for the Great Pumpkin, they record a commentary track for the classic 1966 classic: "It's the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown."  Listen along with this Halloween "must watch"; it'll be like Melissa and Jarrad are right there with you, mostly rambling on incoherently and make offhand references like they tend to do.  Jarrad's cats Shadow and Little Miss Binx also make guest appearances throughout the commentary track.  Just remember Junior Ambassadors; 3 things we don't discuss: religion, politics and the Great Pumpkin. 

Retired Lieutenant General Doug Owens is the CEO of the Lone Star Flight Museum and with him is Marshall Calderon, one of their Junior Ambassadors. He is 12 years old, has a passion for aviation and rocketry and he plans on getting his flying license before his driving license, just like one of his heroes: Neil Armstrong. He's an impressive young man passionate about technology and science and the Lone Star Flight museum is actively recruiting Junior Ambassadors like him, ages 13 to 17. They assist in running the Aviation Learning Center, the Flight Simulators, they lead activities for children, help with special events and assist in classes and camps.
