KAPPA FUTUR FESTIVAL 2022 LINE-UP   Hello Everybody Today we will discover what's the line up of Kappa Futur Festival, and how's I going to be.  The award-winning festival is back for its ninth edition at the famous Dora Park, Italy with an extra day added. Running from July 1 to 3, this renowned techno festival will see huge names of the industry perform including, Amelie Lens, Ben Böhmer, Four Tet, Peggy Gou and many more.   Day one will see Belgium's Amelie Lens, Swiss DJAndrea Oliva, Germany's acclaimed Ben Böhmer (playing live), DJ Boris Brejcha and Ibiza-based Chelina Manuhutu — with Four Tet making his Kappa Futur debut. Farrago and Milo Spykers will be going back-to-back, Germany's FJAAK live, I Hate Models, Chicago house DJ John Summit, Michael Bibi and South Korea's one and only Peggy Gou. As well as these huge names, Reinier Zonneveld will be playing live, London-based Syreeta and Spanish DJ Wade plus for the first time Ugandan collective NYEGE NYEGE with HHY & The Kampala Unit, Kabeaushé, Jay Mitta & Anti Vairas, Menzi and Turkana all confirmed.   The next day will see The Blessed Madonna, UK house legends CamelPhat, plus the return of Craig Richards and DJ Derrick Carter. Diplo will be making his debut whilst the influential UK DJ and producer Jamie Jones will return for an exclusive B2B session with The Martinez Brothers. Belgium's Joyhauser, Berlin techno duo Pan-Pot, DJ/producer Ricardo Villalobos, techno from Satoshi Tomiie live, selector Solomun, Sonja Moonear, and Youniverse will also be performing on day two. The last additions for this mega day are Agoria, Carl Craig who presents Paperclip People live. You can also expect sets from French DJ Chloé Caillet, Denis Sulta, Honey Dijon, and the talented duo Tale Of Us.   I really hope the names are correctly pronounced    Day three has the festival-favourite Carl Cox, Rush Hour Music cofounder Antal, DJ Bedouin, Blackchild, and Cybotron fronted by Detroit techno maverick Juan Atkins with an audio-visual show. Catch the leading underground heroes Detlef or watch Fisher plus Mathew Jonson serving up a performance featuring Xx ISIS xX, along with Solid Grooves head Michael Bibi back-to-back with Seth Troxler. Motor City Drum Ensemble's Danilo Plessow, Enrico Sangiuliano, house hero Danny Tenaglia, Dennis Cruz and Helena Hauff. NoizyKnobs, is a techno live duo project from Turin, Italy. Their collaboration starts into an urban context where Baroque architecture coexists with the concept of a modern and industrialized city, where underground clubs live in the shadows of car factories and eighteenth century buildings. In their music there are clear connections to Detroit techno scene while combining acid bass lines, melodic textures and pumping beats. In last years they’ve been released on Mark Broom’s Beard Man, Motech Records, Planet Rhythm, konstruktiv and they new label Genau Recordings. This collaboration project started in 2012. Since then they are an integral part of the Turin’s scene, where they regularly gig up as resident DJ/live set for Genau Turin and have been smashing European clubs like Tresor Berlin, Loud Club, Factory Milano, Cap10100, Bunker, Boiler, Doctor Sax and festivals like Varvara Festival, Movement Torino, Kappa Futur Festival. As a live act, they perform with analog synths, drum machines, and computers. Matteo Brigatti, aka GANDALF, is one of the founders and resident djs of GENAU, one of the leading techno nights in Northern Italy. After years spent as clubber and amateur dj in the late ’90 and early ‘2000s and truly inspired by Turin underground scene, in 2003 he had the first opportunity to play in public at Docks Home club. After that he started playing in a large number of Turin’s clubs, exploring different styles in his dj sets (electro, prog-house, Chicago house, Detroit techno and minimal). In 2006 he had his first residency in the former night “Mood” every friday at Club Gamma, one of the most important club of the city, playing side by side with some of the most influential international djs, from Jerome Sydenham to Len Faki, from Solomun to Chris Carrier. He’s now resident dj and part of the art direction of the most important city festivals such as Movement Torino and Kappa Futur Festival and he’s been booked as guest in many parties (Dude, Il Suono, Glucose…), and festival around Italy (Nature Beat in Rome, Aurora Festival in Lecce, Forevergreen in Genova and Milan, Bardonite…). In March 2013 he also had the opportunity to play in the most important French techno party, Concrete, and in early 2015 he had his first gig in Berlin at Griessmuhle, followed by an appearance at Karnival Der Kulturen Kreuzberg. In Summer 2015 he as been booked for the "Numa" party in Tokyo, Japan, and in October 2015 he was guest of the infamous "Staub" party in Berlin before returning at About Blank for the "Away meets Genau" party in 2016 and at Kosmonaut in 2017. In April 2017 he returned in Japan where he performed at Dommune and at Unit in Tokyo. After more than ten years spinning music, he decided that now it’s time to start producing his own techno tracks. His first releases have been published between 2013 and 2014 by the french dub techno label Gravite and today he’s committed to produce music on the forecoming Genau Recordings label. His style is made of a mixture of energetic and traveling tracks, deconstructed and re-constructed through the aid of digital technologies (he was one of the first Italian djs to realize the potential of digital djing) and he is well known as a dj that can really understand and become sympathetic with the dancefloor in front of him. Today he’s recognized as one of the most important promoter of techno sounds in Italy both as artist and as event organizer.
