The solo piano: a sound that's been evolving for over 300 years. It's perfectly happy all by itself, but it also plays exceptionally well with others. Flexible by design, the piano has been a mainstay in classical music and jazz, and a key element in traditional and popular music. With the arrival of ambient, minimal and new age music in the 1970s, the piano was expanded and dematerialized through studio magic, and combined with ambient and electronic textures to create spatial sound images. On this transmission of Hearts of Space, the acoustic piano meets ambient atmospheres, on a program called CONFLATION. # Jeden Tag ein Set Podcast 112 # by Wurtz (English Version below) Wurtz tauchte bereits sehr früh in die Welt der elektronischen Musik ein und begann mit 18 Jahren mit dem Auflegen. Später studierte er erfolgreich Audio Engineering an der SAE in Milan und begann seine eigene Musik zu produzieren. Über die Jahre veränderte und reifte er seinen eigenen Sound, behielt aber in seinen Produktionen stets seine dunkle Seite. Seit 2019 wird der Italiener regelmäßig von Tale Of Us supportet und auf deren Afterlife Events eingeladen, wir beispielsweise im kommenden Januar nach Tulum. Wir haben Wurtz in diesem Sommer beim Afterlife Closing in Ibiza das erste Mal erlebt und er hat uns mit seinem Set sofort mitgerissen und begeistert. This year's Burning Man received a record amount of rainfall (2-3 months worth of rain in 1 night) which led to historic flooding at Black Rock City. The muddy conditions made it nearly impossible for vehicles to enter or exit and festival-goers became trapped in the Nevada desert. Over 70,000 attendees were ordered to shelter-in-place at their camps and conserve food, water, and supplies. Due to the heavy rain, my performance on Friday was cancelled but thankfully The Fluffy Cloud was able to add me to their Saturday lineup alongside Vintage Culture, Sharam, Gioli & Assia, and more. Luckily a group of the most dedicated and hardcore Burners came down to lift our spirits and rave with us in the mud. A big THANK YOU to the Fluffer crew & family for making all of this possible and for helping me feel comfortable during this unprecedented disaster.
