This episode was inspired by a recent misadventure in packing. I'm moving my craft studio and feeling overwhelmed with the creation of my new space. While I get everything set up, I want to be able to work in a temporary space, but I only have room for the essentials. This is my list of the top ten tools in my essentials kit. Think anyone will notice if I have a Big Shot on my coffee table?
I'm finally able to move back into my craft space now that the remediation team has complete the flood clean up. I had planned to reset the space as it was before, but my scrappy buddy had other ideas. Can a born organized paper crafter help me develop a system that allows me to see my supplies and get more done?
What do you do when the Universe seems to keep sending you the message to wait? I'm waiting on medical test results, waiting to see how things shake out with my new boss. But that doesn't mean I have to be still. I'm filling my life with good things! Come play along as I set up the November Big Three and plan my unique celebrations.
I'm back from my business mastermind and I am equal parts exhilerated and terrified. I've created an ambitious plan to offer you new classes this Fall including a technique class and a new Book of Me series. Listen in for more details!
I've got lots to tell you as we wrap up June with Stitch Day, plans at the pool, and more. We'll talk about planning, celebrations, remembering what feels like Summer, and creative energy plus we'll touch on getting the things and activities we love into our scrapbooks.

My friends treated me to an incredible birthday celebration! I'm sharing about my day and hoping it will inspire you to try something new and get in front of the camera.
I am sharing my all time favorite tip for paper crafters in this episode. It works for art journalers, card makers, stampers, scrapbookers, and more. I failed to heed this advice the other day at my craft table and ended up with a smear of black glaze and a few tears. Don't miss this episode! And be sure to head over to Facebook.com/BewitchedCrafts to share your tips with our community of crafty friends.
I'm feeling out of balance and it's a sure indicator I've been ignoring my planner. It's time to dive into September and get consistent. Staying on track is like keeping a promise to myself. I'm looking at deliberate design and the things I accumulate. What was the experience I was craving when I bought those things? With craft supplies the answers include connection, creative expression, and basic me time. Turns out my planner is the answer to giving myself the experience!
Do you remember the first time you heard Danny and Sandy singing about those hot summer nights? Did you cruise around the roller rink to "Xanadu"? More than once, Olivia Newton John provided the soundtrack to seasons of my life. I was sad to hear of her passing and inspired to listen to some of my favorite tracks from "Please Mister Please" to "Physical". Now I'm planning to include her songs in my scrapbook, telling my story, complete with musical soundtrack.

UC San Diego's Geisel Library hosts an annual Paper Theater Festival, celebrating an art form with roots in Victorian Era Europe. Paper theaters (also known as toy theaters) were used to promote productions. They were printed on paperboard sheets and sold as kits at the concession stand of an opera house, playhouse, or vaudeville theater. The kits were then assembled at home and plays performed for family members and guests, sometimes with live musical accompaniment. The theaters gradually declined in popularity during the late 19th and early 20th centuries, but have enjoyed a resurgence in interest in recent years among many puppeteers, filmmakers, theater historians, and hobbyists. Presently there are numerous international paper theater festivals throughout the Americas and Europe, as well as several museums.
