What happens when your company not only builds a better product, but creates a whole new category? In this episode of The Kula Ring, Jeff White and Carman Pirie speak with Florian Neugue, Regional Marketing Manager for North America at A-Safe. Florian explains how A-Safe pioneered polymer safety barriers that flex and return, replacing traditional steel barriers in industrial facilities. The conversation explores the power of category design in manufacturing markets. Florian outlines why redefining the problem is the first step to building a new category, how marketers must balance education with demand capture, and why patience is critical when shaping how buyers think about safety solutions. From forklift safety and operational costs to market maturity frameworks and industry standards, this episode offers a practical look at how category creators build long-term market leadership.

This episode is brought to you by B2B Better. Stop sending "just checking in" emails. We build owned media systems that give your sales team actual reasons to reach out, turning podcasts into sales enablement assets that move deals forward. If your sales reps send "just checking in" emails to prospects who've gone quiet, this episode explains why those fail and what to do instead. Host Jason Bradwell breaks down how to create milestone moments, legitimate, value-led reasons to reach out through long sales cycles without sounding desperate. Jason's core point is clear: most B2B sales cycles are brutally long, but sales teams don't know how to stay present without being annoying. The traditional approach fails. Discovery call, proposal sent, then "just checking in" emails with no response. Twelve months later, the prospect went with a competitor because "you didn't understand our business." After month two, you had nothing valuable to say. 95% of B2B Better's clients have sales cycles over six months. And 95% of your customers are out of market at any given time. Your job is to stay present so when they flip to being in market, they think of you first. Most owned media falls apart here. Marketing creates beautiful content. Sales sees it but has no idea how to use it in actual sales motion. Marketing measures downloads. Sales measures meetings. Different languages, different outcomes. Milestone moments fix this. Month one: send proposal plus a podcast clip addressing their exact challenge. Month three: benchmark report. Month four: webinar invite. Month five: customer story. Month six: check in with context. Months seven to twelve: new episodes create new reasons to reach out. Month eighteen: deal closes because you felt like a partner. B2B Better's sales enablement kits deliver three clips with email copy, key graphics, follow-up sequences, and tags showing which funnel stage each piece serves. One innovation: sales stitch videos where reps record 30-second reactions to clips. Personal brands beat company brands these generate thousands of views when originals get hundreds. This works with three things: marketing-sales alignment through quarterly planning, infrastructure for sales to contribute to production, and attribution through CRM tracking plus conversations about where content surfaces in deals. In this episode, I speak to a room full of entrepreneurs, mainly in the life insurance and recruiting space, about the new media landscape and the foundational mindset required for long-term success. I reveal why the competitive advantages I once had in "social media" have completely disappeared - a massive opportunity for those just starting out. I break down the profound shift to "interest media," and explain why your third post on TikTok can now outperform my views. Running a dental practice can feel like an endless cycle of putting out fires, reacting to problems, and repeating the same frustrations day after day. In this episode, Kirk Behrendt sits down with Christina Burn, Director of Operations at ACT Dental, to explain why most of these daily issues stem from a lack of clear systems, not people. Together, they break down how systems create predictability, reduce stress, improve team accountability, and support long-term growth. You'll learn where to start with systems, how to build them with your team, and how to keep them relevant as your practice evolves. To learn how to stop firefighting and start creating predictability, listen to Episode 1007 of The Best Practices Show!Main Takeaways:Most recurring daily problems in a dental practice are caused by missing or unclear systems rather than individual team performance.Systems create predictability, which leads to less stress, better patient experiences, and more consistent outcomes for doctors and teams.Practices should aim to be systems-driven instead of people-dependent to avoid burnout and constant staff additions.Effective systems start with a clearly defined “why” that connects directly to patient experience and team success. The best systems are created collaboratively during dedicated team meeting time, not by the doctor alone or outside of work hours.Systems should be specific, step-by-step, and written clearly so anyone in the practice can follow them when needed.Systems must be treated as living tools that are reviewed, updated, and improved as the practice grows and changes.Snippets:00:00 Introduction and Welcome00:08 The Importance of Systems in Dentistry01:28 Meet Christina Burn: Director of Operations02:30 Common Issues in Dental Practices03:23 Creating Effective Systems05:52 The Why Behind Systems09:58 Implementing and Refining Systems13:22 The 80% Approach to System Development16:02 Specificity in Systems20:32 Living Systems: Continuous Improvement25:11 Conclusion and Final ThoughtsGuest Bio/Guest Resources:Christina Byrne is the Director of Operations at ACT Dental, where she oversees coaching alignment, system development, and operational consistency across practices nationwide. In this episode, we sit down with Aryan Sharma, a former Western University basketball player and CEBL draftee, to talk about life after sport — and why content creation is becoming a natural next chapter for athletes.Aryan played four collegiate seasons at Western University, appearing in 101 games and helping lead the program to an OUA second-place finish and a U SPORTS semifinal. He posted a career-high 37 points against Laurentian, grabbed 13 rebounds versus Nipissing, and was later selected second overall by the Montréal Alliance in the 2023 CEBL U SPORTS Draft. Off the court, he was also recognized with the Dr. Craig Boydell Award for Academic Excellence & Community Service.Since stepping away from competitive basketball, Aryan has shifted his focus to building an audience online. While he's had viral moments across short-form platforms, his real edge lies in understanding how to grow, engage, and monetize smaller, highly connected audiences — especially for creators who don't aspire to chase a million followers. This conversation explores:- How athletes can transition their competitive mindset into content creation- The identity shift that comes with leaving sport- Why small audiences can be more powerful (and profitable) than massive ones- How to build trust, community, and consistency onlineWhether you're an athlete navigating life after sport, a creator just getting started, or someone looking to build something meaningful online, this episode offers a grounded, honest look at the journey.

AI can do almost everything now, but should it be doing your thinking too?In a time where AI can write, design, edit, and think on our behalf, it's easy to slowly outsource our minds without even realising it. Convenience is rising, but so is mental laziness. Fulfilment, clarity, and meaning don't come from consumption alone; they come from creation. In this conversation, I talk about why everyone is a Creative, even if you don't paint, sing, or design. Creativity isn't limited to the arts; it's how you think, how you solve problems, how you interpret the world, and how you express what lives inside you.I also get honest about my own experience using AI for work and personal projects. I started using it to write, and slowly became so reliant on it that I used it for everything. AI is a powerful tool, but when it becomes a crutch, it dulls your instincts. In a world where algorithms can do most things, we have to ask ourselves: Should you really be outsourcing your thinking, your curiosity, your voice? This episode challenges you to make a conscious effort to read and to create, whether privately in a journal or publicly online. The goal isn't visibility; it's vitality. Creation is how you keep your mental muscles active, how you stay human in an automated age.If you've been feeling unfulfilled, uninspired, or mentally numb, this might be your sign. Create something, anything and do it intentionally.#Creativity #AIandCreativity #CreateMore #FutureOfWork #ArtificialIntelligence #ContentCreation #CreativeThinking #AItools #CreatorsInTheAIera #ThinkForYourself #DigitalMinimalism

For creatives and freelancers, time and attention are our most valuable resources. In this New Year special, I dig into the idea of enshittification - how online platforms slowly shift from serving users to extracting value from them - and why social media, algorithms, and subscription-based systems are quietly undermining creative focus, ambition, and long-term work. This episode is about recognising the trap that today's platforms have set, stepping away from systems that no longer serve you, and refocusing your energy on work that actually matters - work that is significant, honest, and genuinely representative of you as a creative.OFFICIAL WEBSITE: https://www.filmproproductivity.com/TWITTER: https://twitter.com/FilmProProdPodFACEBOOK: https://www.facebook.com/filmproproductivityCONTACT: https://www.filmproproductivity.com/contactINDIE FILM HUSTLE: https://indiefilmhustle.com/ifh-podcast-network-filmmaking-and-screenwriting/YOUTUBE: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCqo0Zld2Lm2lJDpDh3GsuZgQUOTES:“The enshittification of platforms is not a bug. Send us fan responses! Ever tried to “authenticate” your way to freedom and wondered why nothing changes? We pull back the curtain on the public vs private divide and show why certified copies, UCC-1 filings, and public records keep you in beneficiary status instead of true control. The big shift is simple but profound: you can only control what you create. If you didn't originate the trust tied to your birth certificate and Social Security number, no amount of authentication will hand you the steering wheel. We walk through the real mechanics of authentication and certification, the Cestui Que Vie framework, and how public filings expose your assets and increase liability. Then we pivot to the private playbook used by enduring communities and elite families: holding companies to own assets, operating companies to conduct business, and non-grantor, irrevocable discretionary spendthrift trusts to separate control from ownership. Private family foundations become your record book and governance hub, keeping sensitive details off the public record while preserving purpose and continuity.Along the way, we highlight the practical tools for building a life that is structured, resilient, and private: affidavits of live birth, nativity certificates, patents of nativity, tribal records, and disciplined record-keeping that assert identity without surrendering title. We also tackle tax exposure, alter ego risks, and why registration is often the moment you give up control. The outcome is a blueprint to move from public dependency to private mastery—own nothing, control everything, and let your structures, not your signature on public forms, define your power.Ready to stop chasing validation and start creating control? Hey friends, Chase here. If you've ever found yourself hesitating to start a project because it didn't feel “portfolio-worthy,” this one's for you. I've fallen into that trap more times than I'd like to admit — obsessing over whether something I'm making is polished enough to represent me. The irony? That mindset kills the very creativity that fills a portfolio in the first place. The Portfolio Trap Somewhere along the way, we started treating our portfolios like prisons instead of playgrounds. We only want to show our “best work,” so we start *only* making work we think will fit that box. Every idea gets judged before it's even born. That's not curation — that's fear dressed up as professionalism. Here's the shift: Separate creation from curation. Create Wildly. Curate Ruthlessly. When you're creating, you're exploring. You're playing. You're trying things that might fail — and that's where originality lives. When you're curating, you're editing. You're selecting what best represents your voice *after* you've made a lot of things. These are two different modes, and mixing them up is where people get stuck. Let yourself make a mess. Create hundreds of sketches, photos, prototypes, or drafts that no one will ever see. Then, later, curate like a maniac. The discipline is in the separation — not in perfection. Why the Messy Stuff Matters Some of the best gigs of my career came from “throwaway” experiments — the projects I almost didn't share because they weren't polished enough. Those experiments showed curiosity and risk-taking. Clients and collaborators see that energy and think, *I want that.* You don't need every piece of work to land in your portfolio. You just need to make enough to find the pieces that truly speak for you. Here's what we get into in the episode: The portfolio trap: how obsessing over “shareable” work limits your creativity Separate creation and curation: freedom in process, discipline in presentation Messy work = momentum: why experimentation builds better portfolios Play over perfection: creativity thrives when the stakes are low The big idea? Your portfolio should reflect your growth — not restrict it. Make more. Edit later. The only “wrong” project is the one you were too afraid to start. Until next time—stay curious, stay playful, and keep creating.

Welcome to this week's new series! This 7-day series is designed not just to teach meditation, but to make it an automatic, non-negotiable part of your daily routine using the science of Habit Stacking. The entire practice centers on the formula: "After [Current Habit], I will [New Habit]." Invite a friend to join you during this week's series! WELCOME TO THIS WEEK'S SERIES: Beyond Motivation: The Science of Automatic Discipline When you start meditating, your Pre-Frontal Cortex (PFC)—the center of logic, planning, and willpower—is working hard. This is exhausting. The goal of this 7-day series is to transfer the meditation practice from the energy-intensive PFC to the Basal Ganglia, the brain structure dedicated to automatic habits and procedural memory. This is the part of the brain that knows how to tie your shoes or drive a car without conscious thought. The techniques used this week—the physical Mudra cue, the rhythmic Breathing, and the simple Affirmation—are all designed to speak the language of the Basal Ganglia: simple, repeatable, and cued by the environment. Copying your reference photos line-for-line is boring AF. Here's how to use them without losing your voice. Many artists start with reference photos because that's what we were taught: paint the flower yellow, the grass green, the cow black and white. And while that's fine for learning, it's a fast track to creating lifeless art that looks like everyone else's. The truth is, reference photos are meant to be a starting point, not a destination. If you copy them exactly, you erase the most important part of your art … your unique voice. In this episode of the Honest Art ® Podcast, I break down how to break free from perfectionism and start using reference photos in a way that fuels your creativity instead of smothering it. Most organizations default to command-and-control when creating policies - one person decides what needs to happen, writes it down, and expects everyone else to follow along. The problem is that this approach creates policies that exist on paper but fail in practice, because the people doing the actual work never bought into them in the first place. In today's episode, I'm joined by Agile Educator and Organizational Coach Tim Lennon to discuss why the traditional approach to making policies explicit often backfires, especially in American workplaces. Through Tim's evolution from teaching the Kanban method to developing what he calls "Adaptive Kanban," we uncover why negotiating working agreements with your team creates far better results than top-down mandates. But now, that truth is being restored. The Creator reveals the greatest crime against humanity, how it has shaped your beliefs and ensured your inability to access truth and consciousness itself. You will learn how to overcome the situation so you can experience spiritual awakening, self-actualization, and higher truth at the soul & Universal levels. ✨ Inside this episode you'll discover: • Why you've been blocked from spiritual awakening • How beliefs built your false identity pyramid—and how to dismantle it • Why your soul power cannot be destroyed, no matter how manipulated you've been • How to embody self-respect in 2025, the year of self-recognition • Why the exact amount you know of yourself is the exact amount you can know of others • How to align with your soul purpose and begin creating the new earth • What it means to move from confusion into full consciousness and awareness The Creator calls 2025 the year of self-recognition and self-respect—a turning point for all humanity. When you fill your own soul first, honor your higher calling, and release judgment, you step into true self-actualization and unlock the path to the truth of human existence. This is how we create the new earth, together, free from manipulation. This is not theory—it is the highest truth available to humanity, direct from the Beings who created existence itself. Get your ticket today!Check out the full episode: greatness.lnk.to/1814"Nobody's going to get paid a penny more than they think they're worth." - Dan MartellDan Martell knows the brutal truth that most entrepreneurs refuse to face: they're building companies they're growing to hate. He's watched countless driven people hit what he calls "the pain line" - that devastating moment when you have the opportunity to double your revenue, but you can't take it because it would mean doubling your misery. Picture getting that dream email about expanding your business, only to feel sick to your stomach because you're already exhausted, your calendar is exploding, and you're missing your kids' weekends. Dan lived this nightmare himself before discovering the fundamental shift that changes everything. What Dan reveals in this conversation will flip how you think about building wealth. It starts with a single question about your worth versus what you're actually getting paid - and the answer exposes the unconscious beliefs that are literally sabotaging your success. He breaks down why most people spend time to save money when wealthy people do the exact opposite, and shares the three pillars that determine whether you'll create sustainable wealth or burn out trying. This isn't about working harder; it's about rewiring the beliefs that keep you trapped in a business prison of your own making.Sign up for the Greatness newsletter: http://www.greatness.com/newsletter

It's easy to consume. We scroll, listen, watch, and take in what others create. But if we're not careful, consuming can keep us stuck. Because real transformation happens when we start creating. In this episode of The Christian Weight-Loss Podcast, we talk about why creating feels harder than consuming and why it's the key to lasting change in your weight-loss journey. You'll learn: ✨ The difference between consuming (staying in learning mode) and creating (actually taking action). ✨ Why creating brings up self-doubt, discipline, and perseverance. ✨ How this applies to your health: planning meals, moving your body, and practicing self-control. ✨ How to shift from consumer to creator with God by your side. Consuming might feel easier, but creation is where the transformation — and freedom — happens.

What if happiness wasn't just a fleeting feeling, but our natural state of being? In this powerful and heart-opening session, Sister Shivani, Brahma Kumaris Spiritual Teacher and host of “Happiness Unlimited,” shares a deeply transformative message from Tony and Sage Robbins' 2024 Date with Destiny stage in Abu Dhabi—a spiritual wake-up call to reclaim your inner power, master your thoughts, and become a radiant force of healing energy in the world. Through her wisdom, you'll discover that happiness is not just a personal pursuit—it's a karmic responsibility—and that we can raise our vibration moment by moment to not only transform ourselves, but to help heal the world. Sister Shivani explores the three pillars of personal power, with a special emphasis on the power to forgive and let go, and reveals how our thoughts, intentions, words, and behaviors ultimately shape our destiny. She breaks down what true karma means—and how to align it with love—while offering a powerful invitation to live happy and leave happy by mastering your inner world. Above all, she reminds us: no one outside of us has the power to disturb our peace—unless we give it away. This talk offers a clear, soulful understanding of how to create happiness from within, no matter what life brings. In this episode of the Dethroning Your Inner Critic podcast, we're diving into the hidden pattern that keeps so many of us stuck—spinning in “why” instead of creating from “what.” I'm unpacking how your Inner Critic convinces you that you need to fix yourself before you can finally feel free, successful, or at peace—and how that keeps you circling the same stories, goals, and fears without real transformation. If you've been caught in the loop of overthinking, second-guessing, or waiting to feel ready, this conversation is your invitation to break the cycle and finally begin building a life from vision, presence, and power. ✨ Tune in—you're closer than you think. Your weekly reflection questions: Am I stuck in asking “why” instead of deciding “what” I want to believe, feel, or create today? What would shift if I embodied the energy of my future self right now—before anything outside of me changes? How is my Inner Critic keeping me spinning in analysis, instead of moving me toward aligned action?
