The idea that God knows each person on earth intimately has proven one of the more attractive facets of Christianity, and the concept makes its first biblical landfall in the Book of Psalms. The final short songs of the Psalms are some of the most joyful and poetic as the book crescendoes towards its finale.Written and produced by Chas BayfieldMusic by Michael Auld and Jon Hawkins MusicCover art by Lisa Goff

We all want God to work in our life. We want him to move in our situations. And in order to ensure that God is going to be responsive to our prayers, we need to consider ourselves as his slave. Now in the Scripture, there is a word. Many times we find that Bibles translate this word as a servant, but when we get to the heart of that word, it means a slave, someone who is absolutely in bondage to another. And the point that we need to see concerning our identity in the Messiah is that we become slaves of God. Today Deacon Harold takes us into PART 2 of Soulful Psalm 143
In this almost classic Mizmor, we draw upoon 3 themes: 1. The character of the "Servant of God" 2. The meaning of the word "nefesh" in Tanakh 3. The posture of prayer - hands extended.
In a society focused on external appearance, emotional wellness, physical fitness, and relational wholeness, we tend to overlook a thriving soul. Pastor Jeremy Treat pauses our Good News for All series to share a teaching from Psalm 143.
It was exactly one year ago at 6:30 am when Hamas launched their attack. I had been reading Jeremiah 4-10 since 5 am, and the Holy Spirit was warning me that an attack on Israel was imminent. We see Israel defeating our enemies, but have we conquered the sin and idol worship within the land? The Nova festival was a spiritual trance before a 20-foot Buddha, filled with drugs and alcohol, advertised as an alternative Sukkot event. This defiled the land and mocked the Torah's instructions regarding YHVH's appointed times, parading false gods and worshiping the sun!Get the latest news and updates through this link: https://member.bulldozerfaith.com/newsletter/ Join us in standing with Israel and supporting our ministry. Your help is vital, and we invite you to be part of our mission. To contribute, visit: https://member.bulldozerfaith.com/give/ For podcast updates, follow this link: https://feeds.captivate.fm/what-then-shall-we-say/On this first anniversary, my prayer and intercession are for this nation, which has lost its way, to find Yeshua, the Messiah, who came 2,000 years ago to dwell among us and bring redemption to Israel and the world. May Yeshua, the Son of Elohim, the prophet Moses foretold, be lifted high in Israel! We should listen to Him!This is a day for repentance and salvation, yet at this moment, we grieve the loss of so many brutally murdered by savage, demon-possessed terrorists. The Middle East is changing, but it has yet to turn to the chosen Messiah, whose life is the most documented event in history, proving He died for our sins and, like the sign of Jonah, was resurrected after three days so that we may be born again.Israel, we pray for the defeat of your enemies, but we also pray for your salvation! The Messiah has already come, and He is coming again, just as the prophets foretold! We offer a prayer of repentance for the land of Israel, knowing that the only true HOPE lies in the LORD's promises of deliverance for a nation and people who have strayed. Soften the hearts of my nation, Israel, and may deliverance come through repentance. If we do not turn back to God and His promises, all hope will be lost for this generation, and we will have to wait for the next to be raised up.Let us intercede and cry out in prayer that the idols of false gods be destroyed that the blindfold be lifted from the eyes of this nation, and that hearts of stone be transformed into hearts of flesh, cleansed and renewed with clean water.

The Book of Psalms - Bible Study ~ 2024
Today Deacon Harold takes us into the Soulful Psalm 143
Pastor Kyle and Pastor Holly talk about the difficulty of being disciplined and discuss the idea of God's faithfulness in Psalm 143. We hope you will be encouraged.
In the final week of our Summer Psalms series, we will look together at Psalm 143. This Psalm's focus will encourage us and help us thank God for his faithfulness.
Israel has taken the lavish blessings of their God and given those gifts to the calf idols of Baal, turning away from the covenant love of the God who redeemed them in order to love other gods. Therefore, in accordance with curses of the covenant he made with them at Sinai and for the sake of His holy name, the Lord will discipline his people for their rebellion. Through Hosea, God remarks that he raised Israel like a father raises children and laments the calamity that will come upon them. With this love in mind, He promises that He will not release His full wrath upon them. The book of Hosea ends with a call to repentance. If God's people will turn back to Him, they will flourish once again.Hosea 10 - 1:04 . Hosea 11 - 4:37 . Hosea 12 - 8:13 . Hosea 13 - 10:32 . Hosea 14 - 13:42 .
