Actor, producer, singer, songwriter, Constantine Maroulis, who rocketed to stardom on American Idol (I met him in the green room at his first appearance on The Tonight Show that season), filled us in on the before, during, and after, even singing us a bit of his audition for Simon & company. Always passionate, fun, and full of energy, Constantine gave us the skinny of growing up with a talented older brother (and sister), playing sports, doing theatre, and fronting a band, wanting and doing it all. Before Idol fame, he'd already gotten his Equity card and toured with Rent. Humble ending there led to the life-changing opportunity that he seized big time. Such great insights into the behind-the-scenes. His premature departure (placing 6th) was all part of his master plan in a way, he used being an underdog to his advantage anyway. In a big way. I like the comedy with my Rock 'n Roll. Hall of Fame'r Ricky Byrd, delivers brilliantly on both counts. Great stories of his heroes in both worlds. Watching them as a kid on Ed Sullivan, to sharing jokes and cokes at The Pines Hotel coffee shop with Freddie Roman, Dick Capri, and Mal Z Lawrence, to sharing a stage with Stevie Wonder, Joe Walsh, Billie Joe Armstrong, Paul McCartney, and Ringo Starr, all at the same time. Full circle. I met Ricky Byrd back in the daze… when we were both in a daze… I was booking the Rock’ N Roll Café on Bleecker Street. Ricky was already a rockstar, center stage lead guitarist with Joan Jett and the Blackhearts, playing those iconic riffs in the great MTV Music Video Days. Ricky has recorded, toured, and/or has performed with Roger Daltrey, Ian Hunter, Southside Johnny, Mavis Staples, Brian Wilson, Alice Cooper, Paul Shaffer, Smokey Robinson, and so many others, but we got stories about the above mentioned. Rockboy Records is the new driving force in the music business and a strong definition of a indie label. The goal at Rockboy is to take our music and artists to the next level. What makes Rockboy Records a different indie label is our quality control system, seeking overall to develop artists and their emerging brands. This system was initiated by our in-house executive team. We  at  Rockboy Records believe that artistic development and ongoing creative and marketing support is a primary concern for an artist. It's important to us, as well, that an artist must know their  ‘craft', and be continually, passionately motivated  so that they can give us their best work at all times. This will ensure our intent to give their fans the very best music.

        Cyashica Charae Coward, born January 9,1993 blessed with the gift of singing. Born and raised in Pleasantville, New Jersey; She performed in numerous talent shows and pageants. The talented singer has been singing since the age of 5. Singing in church is were it all began. She knew that singing was her passion at a very young age. Later she began auditioning for major showcases such as American Idol in 2013, The Voice in 2014, and Sunday best in 2015. Although the showcases did not work in Ms.shica favor one of the great things she got from it was the experience and motivation to move forward. Numerous people told her she had what it takes and that motivated her to continue pursuing her dreams. 2016 she was introduced to a super producer DR period who sold over 30 MILLION RECORDS in the music industry. He heard her talent ability and instantly fell in love with her Golding voice. He immediately offered her a recording contract. In his record label is partnered up wit red distribution in division of Sony music. In to this day Ms.shica is In the studio working and looking forward to dropping her knew single and premiering a album in the near by future so stay tuned for the upping coming of Ms.shica.

There aren't too many people who rock like my old pal, Steve Conte. This boy sings his ass off, and plays, like hell. In the best possible way. In town for Samantha’s graduation (surreal and fabulous), we were Live from New York. From my hotel room. Where the room was so cramped, and the hotel so unaccommodating, they wouldn’t loan me a second chair, thus the interview from my bed. Not as obscene as it sounds, or looks, Harry and Samantha were a few feet away. Steve opened the BROADcast with his OK DJ, a Coolest Song in the World on Little Steven’s Underground Garage… one of three of Steve’s solo work to earn that distinction. He also sang his Gimme Gimme Rockaway, also in the top five for the year, his Somebody’s Gonna Get Their Head Kicked in Tonight, was beaten only by Springsteen for the top spot of the year. Steve sang and played with such passion and gusto, the kids and I were waiting for the front desk to call, or send someone to bang on the door to tell us to shut the fuck up… it didn’t happen, even through rousing renditions of Maggie May and Mercedes Benz. Although, at breakfast, Samantha and I overheard someone say they thought Rod Stewart was in the room next to them. Steve told great stories of Chuck Berry, David Johansen, Phoebe Snow, Paul Simon, Ringo, and so much more about the daze! It was all great fun, and oh, so sweet to see the rocker turn soft when speaking of his boys. RockBoy turned dad, suits him, but in no way softens his rocker edge. Steve and his bass-playing brother, John, played every venue I booked through the years.
