NEXT OF KIN THE ROYAL FAMILY OF SOUL THERE AREN'T MANY FAMILIES THAT HAVE HAD MORE OF AN IMPACT ON SOUL MUSIC THAN THE LEGENDARY WOMACK FAMILY. AND THAT TALENTED FAMILY CONTINUES TO MAKE AN IMPACT THROUGH THE EMERGENCE OF CURTIS “BINKY” WOMACK. BINKY IS THE SON OF THE LATE CURTIS WOMACK OF THE WOMACK BROTHERS AND HAS MADE A CAREER FOR HIMSELF AS A TOP TIER SESSION GUITARIST. (April 6, 2020) He is music royalty, there is no question about that. And there aren't many families that have had more of an impact on soul music than the legendary Womack family. And that talented family continues to make an impact through the emergence of Curtis "Binky" Womack. Binky is the son of the late Curtis Womack of The Womack Brothers and has made a career for himself as a top tier session guitarist. Binky's career transitioned from backing his father and his uncle, Bobby Womack, to working with stars like Usher and Snoop Dogg. He has become a SoulTracks favorite, with every album displaying his killer guitar work and a sound that harkens on the best elements of blues, southern soul and R&B. Binky returns later this month with a new album, The Last Valentino (a reference to his father's early 60s group), and we're absolutely loving the sounds we're hearing. And so we're proud to give SoulTrackers a sneak peek with Binky's cover of the classic Staple Singers' smash, “Let's Do It Again.” Dueting with talented LA-based singer Lisa Love, he's created a song that has us smiling and swaying.

The thinking behind this site was since so many people are stuck at home during rolling lockdowns maybe we could add a bit of joy to people's lives. I used to love playing games on consoles back in the days of the original Nintendo & this site aims to pay homage to that era. Today the gaming industry is worth hundreds of billions of dollars and much of the gaming industry revolves around hyper-optimizing design for accidental ad clicks, paid upgrades, and creating addictive loops – all of which are needed to offset the cost of paying for distribution buying ads in other games and on other platforms. In recent years many gaming companies have went public with valuations in the 10s of billions of dollars including Roblox, Unity and Applovin. This site aims to be prettymuch the opposite of those sorts of trends. no status symbols or paid upgradessuper simple games which are a chance for fun, but do not aim to alter your identity or establish addictive loopscasual games you can dip in and out of, many of which you can beat quicklyno need to download apps to playno need to register or set up a user account Check This Link   https://plays.org/   or  https://plays.org/games/

Shekenda Hill, born in Mobile, AL., better known as her stage name, Brazil Hill is an American rapper and R&B singer. Although the name sounds familiar to the South American Nation, it has no physical connection to Brazil's musical roots. Hill expresses her connection to the name “Brazil” through captivating lyrics, extraordinary soulful sounds attached to her suave personality. Brazil has a powerful desire to encourage people to love who they are and live in their truth through her music. As a true artist her message speaks volumes to a life filled with many ups and downs while pursuing an irresistible journey to being an entertainer. As an eight-year-old, Brazil fell in love with music. Being apart of her church choir helped Brazil continue that creativeness through high school. She sang, wrote her own music and played the keyboard leading her to become a recording artist. Being from Mobile, AL, Brazil is no stranger to street violence. In 2007 her older brother was shot and killed in a senseless act sparked from a heated dispute. Several years later (2015) Brazil was shot twice in a drive by shooting. Not with standing life's hurdles, Brazil has remained focused and determined, never letting her purpose be diminished.       Nate Robinson should not have been in a boxing ring. That much was clear Saturday night at Staples Center in Los Angeles on the Mike Tyson-Roy Jones Jr. undercard. Making his pro boxing debut against one-fight veteran and YouTube sensation Jake Paul, Robinson had speed. He had aggression. He also, very quickly and very definitively, got knocked out less than two minutes into the second round. "You don't play boxing," analyst Sugar Ray Leonard said. Robinson (0-1) learned that lesson in the most brutal way. He was knocked down in the first round rushing at Paul when Paul (2-0, 2 KO) hit him just above the ear. In the second round, Paul hit Robinson on the forehead to knock him down again. Paul said he fought with a broken nose after falling on his face meditating and couldn't spar until recently. He said he is now going to focus on his music but added, "I'm willing to be patient" with his boxing career, and he believes he has a future in the sport. It's tough to judge what level of skill the 23-year-old Paul has, because Robinson had no experience. Paul said on the Triller broadcast after the fight that "he was better than I expected" and credited Robinson for stepping into the ring with him.

The Temprees went on to sign with Stax Records and record several hit songs, but by then Dodson had left the band to sing with The Bar-Kays and recorded his first record with them, called Black Rock . The Bar-Kays had been formed in 1966, and by the time Dodson joined them they were already the number-two house band at Stax Records. None of the members of the Bar-Kays were formally educated in music, but that did not prevent them from being highly successful while writing many of their own songs. They sang backup for Otis Redding, Isaac Hayes, and other popular soul singers under the Stax Record label and recorded many hit songs in their own right, including “ Soul Finger ” and “ Son of Shaft ”. They performed “ Son of Shaft ” at the Wyattstax music festival in 1972, and were featured in the Golden Globe-nominated documentary Wyattstax made about the concert. After Stax Records went bankrupt in 1975, The Bar-Kays signed with Mercury Records and the band went on to have twenty-three singles on the R&B charts from 1976 to 1987. The Bar-Kays' music has been featured in the soundtrack to several films, including Spies Like Us and Superbad . The group broke up in 1993, and reformed a year later with Dodson and one other member of the original band. They continued to tour and write songs, enjoying a renewed popularity.
