On this episode of The Nomadic Outdoorsman Dan talks with Scott Bakken from Dialed Archery about his journey into the outdoor industry. Dialed Archery all started with a pipe dream to create a brand people could get behind, and a company that brought innovative products to a space that was in dire need of it. Once those dreams were realized, the team assembled, and dove in head first. Dan and Scott work through the history of Dialed as a company and the process in which became the die-hard hunter that he is today. The part of starting the Blueline Bowhunters has been the people we have met and the friendships we have made. One of our first friendships was with Scott Bakken who worked at a bow sight company. Scott and his business partners had a desire to create a better bow sight. Together the created Dialed Archery, bow sights designed on purpose. Creating a business during Covid was not an easy task, but Scott and the boys made it through with a piece of art we can all now enjoy. Join us to hear about the Dialed Archery sight in our whirlwind podcast with Scott at the Total Archery Challenge in Seven Springs, PA.

This week, we’re taking a break from our regularly scheduled tree stand content to cover a topic we get a lot of questions about - bow sights. This episode was recorded back in Early spring when everything in Michigan was shut down. I had to call in myself, so the audio is a little iffy but the content is solid and our friend Scott from HHA was a great guest.
