The boys give Rob Bruce a TESD send off.
Ray Harrington is with us this week! We talk about the recent TESD episode about Chuck and how he should respond to the TESD guys. After some classic tangent nonsense, Chuck and I break down Top Gun: Maverick for Ray. Was it too patriotic? Did Chuck and Brad make a pact to learn how to fly a jet before prom? Maybe! Then we offer a spoiler-free review of the new Jurassic World film and, after making it very clear when spoilers start, discuss the plot (such as it is) of the entire movie.MP3 Download
Chuck gives a final update on his spine surgery as Brad preps for HIS spine surgery! It may have already happened by the time this episode is out! We discuss whether someone being a good person is intrinsic or extrinsic, Chuck's (hilarious) drug issues, Chuck's filming with TESD and Tuesdays and Kevin Smith. I learn about filming at the Fat Black Pussycat as well. Chuck talks about his weight loss and a major milestone. We talk about the Tony Hawk documentary and the movie "Nobody." Chuck talks about the It's Always Sunny Podcast and we celebrate the triumphant claiming of a Simpsons Arcade 1-Up machine. Chuck closes by getting unexpectedly poignant when talking about success, growth, and celebration.MP3 Download
According to CGR host Mark Bussler's own wiki page, he's no longer active. I guess they don't know that the podcast is back and Mark's using it to promote bad music and books containing his drawings from high school. You just can't keep this creative force down. Trucker Andy joins us to determine just how lonely this man must be even when he's hanging out with all of his toys. Then Chrissie Mayr joins us to talk about the latest Beer on the Balcony, getting burgled, and Michael Gavin Ali attempting to get a three-way going with her and her boyfriend. After that it's on to Eric Zane with Hal Sparks, Bryan Johnson on TESD giving us a shoutout, and Opie meeting a fan. https://www.chrissiemayr.com/ Support us and get bonus episodes: http://bit.ly/watp-patreon https://watp.supercast.tech/

Brought to you by Dani & Alexis we get into what its actually like living in Los Angeles CA, from the other side of Hollywood. We get into topics such as pro wrestling, movies and music.
We kick things off with Chuck bragging about his cool new Nerf collection - am I foolish for thinking that if foam darts are rocketing toward my eyes, some glasses might be helpful? Chuck seems to think so! We then answer some listener emails including a big Would You Rather. From there, Chuck tells me about the Val Kilmer documentary "Val" on Prime Video and I agree to watch it soon. After that, he tells me all about his cool Rhode Island Day with TESD mainstay Frank Five and Mrs. Five. Finally, we talk about our recent gig at the Comedy Connection; all the work behind the scenes, everything that went wrong, so many jokes at Ray Harrington's expense, then winning the crowd over with the final bit. The show was a success.- Chuck MP3 Download
After a disgusting discovery about our spam filter, we jump right into the past few weeks of adventures. Chuck tells me about his trip to New Hampshire and we debate the merits of floating in tubes down a very slow river. I talk about my trip back to Indiana and time spent with the family. Chuck tells me about his mystery ailment and the efforts he made to get it diagnosed. He also reveals his ableist side! From there, I learn about Chuck's time in New Jersey over the weekend, doing filming for a ton of show's at Kevin Smith's new Smodcastle! Also filming with the TESD guys! Wow!- Brad MP3 Download
We're helping T-Swift in her re-recording efforts, lurking on TESD, Kern doesn't do movies except Hocus Pocus and Kung Pow: Enter the Fist, future interview with Courtney Feldman, and discussing reality TV.
This episode of The Chuck and Brad Podcast is being re-posted in preparation for this "TESD Town History" series to continue as "The TESD Tapes" on the Tell 'Em Steve-Dave Patreon on 05/18/21: patreon.com/tesdPart two in our multi-part miniseries, "TESD Town History!" Chuck sits down for an in-person one-on-one with Git 'Em Steve-Dave of Tell 'Em Steve-Dave, inside Jay and Silent Bob's Secret Stash, 35 Broad Street, Red Bank, New Jersey! We learn about Git 'Em's pre-TESD shenanigans - internet fame and some hilarious domain names. We then hear about his discussion regarding the infamous "Tell 'Em Steve-Dave domain name heist." Finally they get into the weeds about out how Gitem eventually became one of the most loveable characters surrounding Tell 'Em Steve-Dave.After the interview, Chuck tells us all about a heartwarming Christmas gift for me ...and how it led to his (deserved?) nasty reputation at an area office superstore. - BradMP3 Download
I botch our intro, but Chuck saves the day with a lengthy aside. We discuss the morality of parking in reserved parking spaces after-hours. We go through some listener emails and talk about the future of the pod, new media, merch, then get off on a tangent about fast food. It is a lengthy tangent. We talk about the trailer for Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings, Vin Diesel's Rock 'Em Sock'Em Robots project, and Chuck tells me about a bunch of behind-the-scenes stuff from Borat 2. We close with a discussion of Chuck's recent Jersey trip and filming with the TESD guys. - Brad MP3 Download

Yo yo yo! It's Chuck and I am coming at you from a filming trip in New Jersey with Tell 'Em Steve-Dave! I am spending the next week at Jay and Silent Bob's Secret Stash working with the TESD guys. This trip kind of came up last minute, Brad was also going on vacation, and we did not have time to record a new episode before I left. I was racking my brain on what we could do for an episode, and ultimately I decided that maybe a little trip down memory lane to LAST summer would be fun, in this time where we can't do so many things that are normal for us.This is a little episode with clips of all the normal stuff we'd be doing (our live comedy shows, our hosting gigs for food events, playing concerts, going to see comedians and musicians, etc) if there wasn't a pandemic on our hands. Hopefully you guys will have a fun time with us reminiscing, and we can all look forward to a future where everyone can spend time together again enjoying life. - ChuckMP3 Download
Sure, sure, we mention COVID-19 to start (and I'm including it here for SEO purposes), but the meat, potatoes, AND dessert of the episode is Chuck giving the lowdown on his gig filming for the podcast Tell 'Em Steve-Dave. We give background on the podcast, how Chuck got involved, and then Chuck relates the story of his most recent trip to Jersey to film with the guys. There are absolutely ZERO spoilers in this episode for TESD projects - but Chuck DOES tell an amazing door about an intoxicated gentleman causing havoc in a chicken restaurant (not related to filming), so there's that. A fun look at what REALLY goes on for Chuck's work!- Brad
Do we sound different this week? Because we are recording on a brand-new Rodecaster Pro, graciously sent to us by the fine folks at Rode! Wow! We talk about that and show off some of its cool features for a while. From there, we discuss Chuck's trip to New Jersey to film with the TESD boys. From there, we talk about some of my quirks and habits about arguing and basically argue about arguing in classic Chuck and Brad fashion. Once we cover that fully, I talk about my trip to Indiana and hanging out with my family. Chuck talks about some Christmas parties he's been to recently. We offer a spoiler-free review of the film Knives Out and then, after a clear delineator, we move to a spoiler-free review of this very fun movie! - Brad
