Dave Rubin of "The Rubin Report" talks to Piers Morgan about his new book Woke Is Dead and why he says the fight against woke ideology isn't over yet; why the public tolerance for wokeism is collapsing; what we can learn from the backlash against Sydney Sweeney; how woke ideology has evolved into socialism and Marxism within the Democratic Party; how London's woke politics compare to New York's; how mass migration and failed immigration policies are straining Britain's infrastructure and NHS; how he'd solve the UK's immigration crisis; why Britain must take a tougher Trump-style approach with France, using tariffs to stop illegal crossings; the need for assimilation; how Sharia courts in the UK create dangerous divisions; why he thinks Tommy Robinson is a fraudster who hides behind free speech; how he challenges guests across the political spectrum; why he is tough but fair with both conservatives like Candace Owens and leftists alike; why Tucker Carlson was wrong for going easy on Nick Fuentes; his biggest mistakes on COVID and BLM; the hypocrisy in media coverage of January 6 vs. BLM protests; why he disagrees with Dave on Israel's handling of the war with Gaza; and much more.
Tim discusses New York real estate, Donald Trump's interview with Laura Ingraham, yet another Sydney Sweeney controversy, the tech people's plan to bring in Chinese students to create an AI demon, how the college system is over, and a Waymo driverless car running over a cat in San Fransisco. This week is all about failure. Jodi and Nora start out with some of our developing stories, including that dapper (non-)detective who has turned out to be 15 years old (8:59), Aaron Rodgers's pretty fake-seeming wife (14:07), the ‘Now You See Me: Now You Don't' illusion popcorn bucket (18:10), and the ‘Marty Supreme' trailer and press tour (20:15). Then they get into the two big flops of this week: Sydney Sweeney with her GQ interview and flop new movie ‘Christy' (28:15) and Kim Kardashian's failure to pass the bar (again) and her insanely bad lawyer show, ‘All's Fair' (41:06). Finally, they award their Good Neighbor of the Week to the ‘Wicked: For Good' press tour and sponsored product collaborations (1:12:50), before each sharing their personal obsessions for this week (1:29:01). In a mean spirited, social media post, actress and openly gay Ruby Rose points the finger directly at Sydney Sweeney for “ruining” Sweeney’s latest movie “Christy," a biopic about one of the most prominent figures in the history of boxing, Christy Martin. Martin was a closeted lesbian who survived a murder attempt by her husband, but went on to be inducted to the International Boxing Hall of Fame. Rose said Sweeney “paraded around pretending to be us” insinuating because Sweeney is a Republican and straight, she had no right to play the role of Christy, calling her a “cretin” who ruined the film. The Rickey Smiley Morning Show dives into a whirlwind of celebrity controversy and breaking news. The crew kicks things off with Zendaya reportedly refusing to appear alongside her Euphoria co-star Sydney Sweeney, following backlash over Sweeney’s controversial “Good Jeans / Good Genes” American Eagle ad, which many deemed racially insensitive. Zendaya, known for speaking out on issues of race and representation, has drawn praise for her quiet but firm stance against what fans call “tone-deaf branding.” The conversation turns serious as a neurologist challenges Wendy Williams’ dementia diagnosis, suggesting she may not suffer from frontotemporal dementia after all. The revelation could reshape the court battle over her guardianship, a case that’s drawn national attention to elder care and financial control in celebrity health crises. Finally, the team covers Donald Trump’s ongoing legal fight, as he petitions the courts to overturn his sexual abuse and defamation verdict in the E. Jean Carroll case—an appeal many critics say leans on the influence of judges he himself appointed. Sydney Sweeney is one of this generation's biggest stars. Her new film “Christy” tells the story of the trailblazing boxer Christy Martin, who broke into the male dominated world of 1990s prizefighting and became one of the biggest stars in boxing. It may not seem like Sydney — star of the hit teen show “Euphoria” and rom-com “Anyone But You” — would have much in common with Christy. But they both come from small towns, broke into their respective industries without connections, and have backgrounds in combat arts. Sydney joins Tom Power to talk about taking on the role of Christy, the physical transformation she underwent, and how her own background in martial arts influences her life and career.
Actress Ruby Rose blamed Sydney Sweeney for the failure of the new film "Christy". Sabrina Carpenter is set to star and produce in a musical film based off Alice in Wonderland.See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.

Sydney Sweeney has been everywhere lately, not just for her acting, but for the way she carries herself under pressure. In this episode, I explore what her chart reveals about that steady, self-assured presence, and what we can all learn from it.Born September 12, 1997, Sydney's Moon sits in Uttara Shada Nakshatra, “the Later Invincible One.” This lunar placement reveals a natural steadiness and quiet strength, the ability to face challenge without reacting. It's that same energy we see in the viral meme: her calm, clear, unbothered response when others might get defensive.Uttara Shada natives are born with integrity and endurance. They work hard, stay loyal to their values, and tend to earn success through consistency rather than hype. Whether in fame or in daily life, this nakshatra teaches us the value of inner composure, the kind that comes from knowing who you are.In this episode, I share:How Uttara Shada energy shows up in Sydney Sweeney's chart. The meaning of the Vishvadevas: the ten deities of this nakshatra.Lessons from other Uttara Shada natives like Abraham Lincoln, Rosa Parks, and Nina Simone. The deeper spiritual lesson of staying calm in the face of criticism. How to embody Uttara Shada energy in your own life, especially when you feel misunderstood or tested. If you have this nakshatra in your Moon, Ascendant, or Atmakaraka, this episode will help you understand your strength and how to live from it.Free Vedic Birth Chart & Training: quietmindastrology.com/freebirthchartInstagram: instagram.com/quietmindastrologyYouTube: quietmindastrology.com/youtubeMentorship Waitlist: quietmindastrology.com/mentorshipYoga Teacher Training Podcast: anchor.fm/yogateachertrainingQuietmind Yoga: quietmind.yogaKeywords: Vedic astrology, Uttara Shada Nakshatra, Sydney Sweeney birth chart, Moon in Uttara Shada, Vedic birth chart reading, Nakshatra meanings, Vedic astrology podcast, Quietmind Astrology, self-awareness through astrology, astrology for personal growth, Sydney Sweeney astrology, Sydney Sweeney zodiac sign, celebrity astrology reading, famous people with Uttara Shada, astrology of celebrities, Sydney Sweeney birth chart analysis, inner strength and composure, staying calm under pressure, spiritual lessons in astrology, emotional intelligence, self-discovery through astrology, Vedic wisdom for modern life, astrology and mindfulness, learn astrology, how to read your Vedic chart, astrology lessons, astrology insights, weekly astrology podcast, understanding your Moon sign, astrology for beginners

As Ofsted scraps single-word judgements in favour of ‘report cards', could this ‘definitive backward step' result in a ‘dumbing down' that will rob the next generation of rigour and ambition? And will ‘Bridget Philistine's' war on education undo the positive legacy of the Conservatives on education? And finally, in Hollywood, actress Sydney Sweeney refuses to apologise for comments made in an interview last week – she now finds herself a heroine of the anti-woke age. Are we finally past peak woke?Produced by Oscar Edmondson. To submit your urgent questions to Michael and Maddie, go to: spectator.co.uk/quiteright Hosted on Acast. People are arguing online about the attractiveness of Melania Trump as opposed to Rama Duwaji. Apparently it's necessary to have such useless tribal and trivial debates in order to cope with two failed political systems. On the other hand, this might remind one of the “Which Way Western Man” meme that went super viral on social media. Earlier in 2025 across all the major social media platforms an image of Sydney Sweeney was compared to one of former Japanese idol-Saori Araki and men were asked to vote for which was more preferable. Most men also had no idea who Araki was, instead believing it to be some random asian girl. In every poll and survey, men from all over the world and Internet, though some women may have voted and some men may have voted more than once - these were unofficial polls - chose the seemingly random asian woman in a business suit over a sultry photo of the Hollywood blonde bombshell. The reason? Araki appeared “relatable,” “wholesome,” and most importantly “low-maintenance.” Sweeney appeared the total opposite. Turns out that Araki was also a model, too, but yet embodied a different presence as a girl in comparison with Hollywood standards. Attraction is about more than sex appeal and it appears that guys in these surveys preferred innocence as opposed to worldliness. How could this be when women were taught by fashion, makeup, the media, and subgroups of men that Sweeney is the ideal human female? Remember, Araki was also a model but embodying a different style completely. No blatant sexuality, cleavage, rear-end shots, or dumb expression. Just cute and innocent. Yes, these things are cultural, relative, subjective, and prone to change, but something else was happening here. Strangely, Araki's image is not unique, since conservatives have embraced the “trad wife” motif online, which represents all the same qualities of the former idol. For conservatives, however, Sweeney was the standard, and possibly so because she represents the total opposite of the alternative option: fat, dyed hair, obnoxious, loud, assertive, masculine feminists who have come to represent all western women. Compare Sweeney to some girl in Asia and she still loses. Maybe conservatives don't understand femininity either. Is it a defending of what some politically see as “white culture,” or is there more to the story? We are simultaneously watching statistics build an indication that men overwhelmingly reject fake women, their careers, personalities, and even overt sexuality in favor of simplicity and kindness. This goes for obnoxious liberal women and fake conservative women too. Nowhere is this more evident than in the ironic OnlyfansTV which now offers fully clothed woman doing the unthinkable - cooking. That's right, former and current porn stars, mostly well established ones that need no publicity, trying to stay relevant by embracing cooking while being fully dressed. It's almost as if the problems have corrected themselves. Women are now saying, “okay, you'll pay me to keep my clothes on and just cook….well, at least it's better than being a wife….”*The is the FREE archive, which includes advertisements. The critics and Christy Martin herself say otherwise. See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.
