EPISODE 817 Welcome back to Got Faded Japan, where the news is strange, the drinks are strong, and common sense is always on life support. If you listened to the previous episode, then you already know what this experiment is all about. But if you missed it, here's the story... This episode was originally recorded last week after Johnny indulged in the sweet, sweet nectar of Suntory Highballs, specifically the mighty 9% BIG-BOY cans. As a completely ridiculous social experiment, he decided to record the exact same episode again the following day while hung-TF-over-AF. In a move that may never be repeated in podcasting history, the Hangover Edition was released first, and now it's finally time for the original recording: the most faded episode of Got Faded Japan. Same news. Same Johnny. Very different levels of sobriety. So the question is: which Johnny do you prefer, the hungover survivor fueled by coffee and regret, or the fully faded Johnny powered by highballs and questionable decision-making? Tune in and enjoy what may very well be the most important podcast experiment in modern history. EPISODE 816 Welcome to a first in Got Faded Japan history... and possibly podcast history itself!!! Last night's episode was recorded after Johnny demolished a grip of 9% Suntory Highballs. Today? He's paying the price. This is the official Hangover Edition. As a completely ridiculous social experiment, Johnny's reading the exact same Japan news stories from last night's episode, but this time with a pounding headache, zero alcohol in his system, and enough coffee to tranquilize a horse. In this week's news, six men busted for importing "sex bots" allegedly stuffed with solid gold, a worrying surge in attacks on paramedics, a tourist arrested for doing Tokyo Drifts in a museum parking lot, and the weird, wild, and unbelievable stories that only Japan can deliver. Same news. Same host. Completely caffinated.
Episode 814. This week on Got Faded Japan, Johnny dives headfirst into another tsunami of crime, chaos, and questionable life choices from across Japan.
Oggi come ci informiamo?
Episode 813. This week, Johnny kicks things off with news of a typhoon heading toward Tokyo and hopes the city survives another round of Mother Nature's nonsense. Then it's time for the wild news: a French tourist gets busted for shoplifting despite carrying plenty of cash, two guys are arrested for robbing a van full of Pokémon cards, a fed-up neighbor goes full RAMBO during a noise dispute, and plenty more strange, shocking, and hilarious stories from across Japan. Grab a drink, crack a smile, and join Johnny for another episode packed with crime, chaos, and the craziest news Japan has to offer. FADE ON!
