On September 11, 2001, Tim Clemente and other FBI agents from the Washington Field Office SWAT team were at Naval Special Warfare Development Group — more widely known as SEAL Team SIX — training in their kill house (also called shoot house). One of Tim's agents alerted him to the developments happening in New York City with early reports indicating a small plane had struck the World Trade Center. Tim's FBI team and several Navy SEALs switched the TV to a live CNN broadcast showing the North Tower on fire. Moments later, the operators watched in horror as the second plane slammed into the WTC's South Tower. Tim tells the remarkable story of responding to the terrorist attacks that day. Along the way, Tim witnessed several small acts of heroism. Following the attacks on 9/11, Tim's team participated in what later became the largest criminal investigation in history. Read the story here: An FBI Agent's Unforgettable Journey to the Pentagon on 9/11 Listen to Tim Clemente's Audible Original podcast titled After The Fall about the FBI's investigation following 9/11.

The Grubb’s crimes were a combination of note jobs and armed robberies that took place all around the country. In 1998, Pat Dugan requested that Grubb be featured on America’s Most Wanted. he attended the live broadcast with Delaware State Police Sgt. Mark Hawk and agent Scott Duffey. A live tip was called in to the show, resulting in the quick apprehension of Grubb. At the time, the arrest, which took only 4 or 5 hours from phone call to handcuffs, set a record as the fastest America’s Most Wanted capture. Pat Dugan served in the FBI for 22 years. This episode is a celebration of the return of America’s Most Wanted to TV. Retired agents Jim Clemente and Tim Clemente of X-G Productions, Inc. are the production team behind the AMW reboot. ISIS Strikes in Texas - While ISIS claimed responsibility two days after the attack, there was no immediate indication that the terror group in Iraq and Syria had contact with Simpson or Soofi, who both lived in Phoenix. Former FBI agent Tim Clemente said the gunmen may have plotted the attack without direction from ISIS. "They may not have had formal contact (with ISIS). They may have had email communication or read communications from ISIS, but I don't think they were directed by ISIS," Clemente said."I think it's the other way around -- they were kind of applying for membership into ISIS. And so they were doing this act, sent out the tweet in advance because if they know there's a possibility they're not going to make it out of this, then they can't give recognition to what they were trying to do after the fact." On Tuesday, White House spokesman Josh Earnest described what happened as "an attempted terrorist act (that) was foiled." U.S. authorities, meanwhile, are still looking into what links -- if any -- Sunday's shooters had to international terrorism. But there are clues that one of the gunmen was an ISIS sympathizer.

The Patrick Coffin Show | Interviews with influencers | Commentary about culture | Tools for transformation

This interview with counter-terrorism expert and former international FBI Special Agent Tim Clemente provides unique insights into the mass murder perpetrated by Stephen Paddock last Sunday. Clemente has been a SWAT team sniper, a firearms expert, and was one of the first FBI agents on the scene after American Airlines Flight 77 crashed into the Pentagon. He is now a Hollywood writer and producer (The Unit, Criminal Minds, NCIS: Los Angeles). As a serious Catholic, Clemente’s analysis of the Vegas massacre brings a supernatural perspective to this kind of pure evil. Where other pundits opine about gun laws and conspiracy theories, in this interview you will hear a balanced understanding that doesn’t exclude the reality of faith. Busy father of nine that he is, the interview was conducted from his pick-up truck during a break in some construction work for his mother-in-law.  Enjoy and share!
