Paranormal and private investigator, writer, and filmmaker Margie Kay, along with professional historic property researcher Violet Wisdom, explained how to research a house to determine whether it's haunted and who is doing the haunting.Kay shared that her involvement in paranormal research began when she was a child, having experienced paranormal events such as seeing a disembodied head at 11. This sparked her interest, leading her to study the subject. Her work later expanded into helping law enforcement and private investigators solve missing persons and homicide cases using remote viewing. One significant case involved a young girl who had been kidnapped, where Kay used her skills to locate the girl.In her practice, Kay uses remote viewing to assess potentially haunted locations, often finding that spirits are aware of her arrival and sometimes leave before she physically arrives. She discussed the importance of understanding the nature of the spirits present, whether human or non-human and emphasized the need for a psychic on a paranormal investigation team to communicate with spirits. She also shared personal experiences, such as seeing her deceased grandmother's spirit in her favorite spot. Kay revealed that most haunted houses are occupied by spirits of former residents, especially those attached to the home. However, she noted that negative or evil spirits can also cause distress and make situations more challenging, as seen in some of her cases.Wisdom recounted how she and her best friend, both history enthusiasts, started a historic property research business 15 years ago. She emphasized that old houses retain a sense of energy from past inhabitants and described how architectural styles of the past were expressions of historical and cultural significance rather than just contemporary trends. She has researched a wide range of properties, including modern ones, noting that every piece of land holds a story, given the long history of human habitation in the United States.Wisdom recounted her work on a Springfield house for the book, How to Research a Haunted House, where she uncovered intriguing connections between past residents and present experiences. She described the research methods she employs, including library archives, online resources, newspapers, and interviews with locals. Wisdom recalled fascinating cases, such as investigating the home where Ginger Rogers was born, and spoke about the importance of preserving personal histories. She attributed hauntings to residual energy and recounted experiences of paranormal activity in various buildings she has researched. While intrigued by hauntings, she expressed reluctance about living in a notoriously haunted house, especially one with negative energy.------------------------------------------Open Lines followed in the latter half of the program. Shawn from Washington expressed concerns about the recent crash between American Airlines Flight 5342 and an Army Black Hawk helicopter. He suggested it might have been deliberate. David from Oklahoma discussed the mark of the beast, referencing the New Testament books of John and Revelation. He elaborated on the spiritual significance of the number 666 and the connection between humans and stars. Ruth from Maryland shared a historical story about the "Bloody Oyster Wars" between Maryland and Virginia. She explained the conflict between Maryland and Virginia over the Potomac River and oyster overfishing and described the creation of the Maryland oyster navy and the incidents that led to the end of the wars.

Over the last few months, a spate of high-profile air travel incidents in North America have captured public attention. And it’s raised concerns about whether air travel is as safe as it used to be. On today’s Big Take podcast, Bloomberg’s global aviation editor Benedikt Kammel joins host David Gura to discuss how recent accidents — especially the fatal collision between American Airlines Flight 5342 and a military helicopter and, weeks later, the crash landing of Delta Flight 4819 — have undermined public trust in flying. And they examine what’s going on inside the FAA in the midst of mass government lay-offs. See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.

//The Wire//2300Z February 24, 2025////ROUTINE////BLUF: GERMAN ELECTION RESULTS IN GAINS FOR THE AFD, THOUGH CDU/CSU TAKES LEAD. POPE FRANCIS REMAINS IN CRITICAL CONDITION. AMERICAN GOVERNMENT EFFICIENCY INITIATIVES DRAW IRE OF FEDERAL WORKERS.// -----BEGIN TEARLINE------International Events-Vatican City: Over the weekend the Vatican confirmed that Pope Francis remains in critical condition regarding his previous illness.Germany: Sunday's election resulted in Friedrich Merz becoming the new Chancellor, as the CDU/CSU took 33% of the vote. While falling short of any sort of majority, the AfD party surprised many by coming in second place, winning 24% of the vote. AC: The key takeaway from this election is that the AfD now has more bargaining power than in previous years, albeit falling short of their own goals. Though by American standards the AfD is a rather lukewarm center-right party (at best), throughout Germany the AfD party has been vilified as extreme-far-right (which may be technically true for Germany's perspective, by comparison with other political parties). As such, this signals a significant shift in atmospherics throughout the nation, even if radical changes in the grand scheme of national politics will be challenging to arrive at..-HomeFront-New York: Sunday evening American Airlines Flight 292 bound for Delhi was diverted to Rome due to a bomb threat. After a security inspection in Rome detected no threat to the aircraft, the flight was cleared for departure to Delhi. AC: These types of bomb threats are relatively common. Though American Airlines has not specified the exact details of what resulted in the brief diversion, it is very likely that a threat was received (probably on social media) that referenced this specific flight, which caused the security concerns.Georgia: This morning Delta Flight 876 (bound for Columbia, SC from Atlanta) experienced an in-flight emergency via smoke filling the passenger cabin. The aircraft promptly returned to Atlanta due to the smoke.California: Saturday night, Delta Flight 43 (bound for Sydney from Los Angeles) also experienced an in-flight emergency with smoke filling the passenger cabin.AC: Of note, though two separate emergencies of similar characteristics (and via the same airline) occurring within 24 hours of each other is rare, it must be noted that both smoke incidents involved separate airframes. The Los Angeles emergency involved an Airbus A350, and the Atlanta incident involved a smaller regional jet, a Boeing 717-200.Washington D.C. - Controversy has erupted over the past few days regarding various initiatives to improve the efficiency of government agencies. Over the weekend an email was sent out from the Office of Personnel Management (OPM) to every single federal employee, requesting them to provide a short list of 5 bullets regarding what they had completed last week.-----END TEARLINE-----Analyst Comments: As the OPM email was sent out to everyone, from every single military service member to the highest-paid directors of various federal agencies, mass pandemonium has largely been the result. The initial knee-jerk reaction for many department directors of various levels of bureaucracy has been to order their subordinates to not reply to the email. The Department of Defense also issued guidance to prevent all service members from responding to the email as well.Analyst: S2A1Research: https://publish.obsidian.md/s2underground//END REPORT//
How do you follow a film like Longlegs, the chilling riff on serial killer thrillers that became one of the cult smashes of 2024? The answer, if you're acclaimed writer-director Osgood Perkins, is to first swap out the pressure-cooker dread of that breakout hit. Next, add a cursed toy monkey. Then, harvest the wildest, darkest parts of your imagination for some of the most gruesome demises ever seen on screen. And finally, package all of the above into an existentialist comedy about embracing death. The result is The Monkey – a Stephen King adaptation inspired by the literary icon's 1980 short story of the same name, but very much a work of Oz's own invention. From the moment a flamethrower-wielding Adam Scott opens the film with a maniacal cameo, screaming as he scorches everything in his path, it's clear the movie is operating on a different tonal plane to Longlegs. But make no mistake, The Monkey is just as personal to Oz as that film and others before it, like The Blackcoat's Daughter and 2016's I Am the Pretty Thing That Lives in the House. Perhaps, in fact, even more so. As Oz explains in this moving spoiler conversation, the film is a meditation on death because death is something he's experienced up close in the most unimaginably tragic circumstances; on September 12 1992, his father, Psycho actor Anthony Perkins, died of AIDS-related pneumonia at his home in Los Angeles. Almost exactly nine years later, his mother, the actress and photographer Berry Berenson, was aboard American Airlines Flight 11 when it was hijacked by terrorists and flown into the North Tower of the World Trade Centre, on September 11, 2001. The Monkey, he says, features Theo James playing two roles as twin brothers Hal and Bill, because “that's my life,” as he puts it. He and his own brother Elvis Perkins, an acclaimed musician, became “buried in the rubble of the tragedy” of their mother's death on 9/11 and emerged with “differences more apparent than ever.” In the conversation you're about to hear, Oz tells us the extent to which the movie helped reconcile some of the feelings towards his brother. Al asks him about the ending of the film, which involves a plane crash – a very emotionally-loaded image, given his tragic family history. And he shares why accepting death is the only true way to find peace.Script Apart is hosted by Al Horner and produced by Kamil Dymek. Summary In this episode of 'Five Minutes to Chaos', Steven Kuhr discusses the evolving landscape of crisis management in 2025 with emergency management experts Kelly McKinney and Tom Serio. They share personal experiences from recent disasters, the complexities of federal crisis management, and the importance of effective communication and coordination among stakeholders. The conversation emphasizes the human element in crisis management, the role of the private sector, and the need for emergency managers to demonstrate their value through effective execution and preparedness. The episode concludes with reflections on the future of FEMA and the necessity for public-private partnerships in crisis response. Takeaways Crisis management is essential in today's complex environment. Understanding your 'why' is crucial for emergency managers. FEMA's role is often misunderstood; they are not first responders. Effective communication is vital during a crisis. The private sector plays a significant role in disaster recovery. Emergency managers must demonstrate their value through action. Preparedness and planning are key to successful crisis management. Coordination among various stakeholders is critical in emergencies. Survivability should be the focus of business continuity plans. The future of FEMA may require restructuring and better integration with local agencies. Contact Information Via LinkedIn
(AURN News) — We're learning more information about the fatal collision between American Airlines Flight 5342 and a U.S. Army Black Hawk helicopter conducting training exercises. The tragedy claimed 67 lives at Reagan Washington National Airport on January 30. As the investigation continues, last week, the National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB) confirmed that preliminary data showed the helicopter was flying at more than 300 feet, exceeding its permitted altitude of 200 feet. This week, FBI divers searched the Potomac River for additional wreckage while federal investigators continue examining debris from both aircraft. Also taking place this week, a survey conducted by the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration has located several large pieces of wreckage, which are being recovered by crane and transported to a secure facility for examination. The NTSB also explains that several investigative teams, including those focused on airplane systems, operations, human performance, and even survival factors, have completed their work and are preparing for additional investigations. Further examination of the aircraft components will take place at both NTSB laboratories and manufacturer facilities. Additionally, investigators are analyzing data from both aircraft's cockpit voice recorders and flight data recorders at the agency's laboratory. The crash claimed the lives of all 64 individuals aboard the commercial aircraft, including 60 passengers and four crew members, along with three U.S. Army personnel in the helicopter. (AURN News) — In a significant development concerning last month's devastating aviation disaster, federal investigators revealed this week that a military helicopter was operating well above the maximum altitude recommended when it collided with a commercial airliner landing at Reagan Washington National Airport, resulting in 67 people losing their lives. According to National Transportation Safety Board officials, preliminary air traffic control data from DCA indicates the U.S. Army Black Hawk helicopter was flying at an altitude of 300 feet when it struck American Airlines Flight 5342 on January 30. This height was substantially above the maximum permitted altitude of 200 feet established for helicopters operating in that airspace. The catastrophic collision occurred between the American Airlines passenger jet which had departed from Wichita, Kansas, and the military helicopter conducting routine training exercises from Fort Belvoir, Virginia. The crash claimed the lives of all 64 individuals aboard the commercial aircraft, including 60 passengers and four crew members, along with three U.S. Army personnel in the helicopter. As part of their ongoing investigation, NTSB teams have been systematically recovering wreckage from the accident site. Key components of the CRJ 700 commercial jet, including its right wing and substantial portions of the cockpit, have already been retrieved. Investigators are also focused on recovering the Black Hawk helicopter's wreckage from the Potomac River, which they expect to accomplish this week. The investigation continues as families and communities across the country mourn what stands as one of the deadliest aviation accidents in recent U.S. history. Learn more about your ad choices. 00:00 Introductions 01:03 Plane Crash 03:42 DEI 09:39 Harvey Weinstein 11:03 Chinese Incels 16:01 Dank Demoss 19:15 Anti-Abortion States 21:12 Tariffs —The crash of American Airlines Flight 5342 is a tragedy. There's no other way to describe it. Families are devastated, and will forever be changed. So, naturally, the media is trying to cash in any way they can. Clickbait headlines are generally awful, but when they're used to take advantage of something this horrific, it makes people want to believe in hell, that the “reporters” might burn their for their sins. Gibson Johns—if that's a real person an not a handle given to an article written by AI—and E! News (which should be in quote, “News”) cashed in my offering a scary headline about a chilling photo by one of the victims of the crash, a teenage boy who will be missed by his parents for the rest of their lives. It's disgusting, and Jake has special words regarding the “reporters” who seek out families after a tragedy. —Speaking of cashing in on a tragedy, Donald Trump once again showed his complete inability to lead with grace, or compassion, turning an awful situation into an opportunity to rally his political base using anger, an ignorance. Blaming the crash on DEI right out of the gate was a bold move, but red meat the dumbest of the dumb could lap up like the dogs they are. In an interesting twist, however, he threw “dwarfism” into the mix as one of the reasons the plane crash happened. Interesting. —A couple episodes back, Jake said Harvey got out of jail. nathan was dumbfounded, “How did I miss that?!?” Turns out, nathan missed nothing! Harvey is still locked up in Rikers Island, just like he deserves to be. —Oh, China… You best America in so many ways—bullet trains, airports, education… and now, INCELS. Yes, while our INCELS go on rampages, and hurt people, yours go look at panda bears. Dammit, China. Stop being better than us. —Dank Demoss is rapper who hates several things: salads, walking, and reality. Dank weighs 489 pounds, and thinks that if she orders a Lyft, she should be able to get into whatever arrives, be it a Honda Civic, or a Mini Cooper. When her ride arrived, the driver took one look at her and said, “Nope. My shocks and tires can't take that kind of abuse,” and locked her out. Naturally, this caused Dank to have a “come to Jesus” moment, where she turned her life around, began eating right, and exercising. Of COURSE I'm kidding. She's suing Lyft, because personal responsibility doesn't exist. —Is an exodus taking place from states with impossibly restrictive bans on women's health? The Los Angeles times thinks so. Why? Because speculation, that's why. In an article heavy on thoughts and light on facts, it is opined that a less than 1% population departure from states more interested in fairy tales than medicine, means it's got to be because of a political wedge issue. Great job, Los Angeles Times. Way to waste column space. —Well, things are gonna get interesting. Despite anyone and everyone with an IQ above that of your average turnip understanding that tariffs make things more expensive for the consumers of the country applying said tariffs, Donald Trump announced 25% additions to Mexican and Canadian goods, and 10% on Chinese imports. What was the immediate reaction? Trillion-dollar hedge funds started taking out massive shorts on the American Economy. In 2008, a few wise men beat the crap out of the banks and made hundreds and hundreds of millions of dollars off their stupidity. Now, the American people will lose, and rich look to get richer. Yay. This week has been a week of extremes! Tuesday was filled with such great joy as our 4th grandchild, Easton Everett Housand was born. He got here with a few minor struggles, but by the grace of God is progressing very well and will be going home very soon! Then came the news of the Wednesday night mid-air collision of American Airlines Flight 5342 and an Army Blackhawk Helicopter in our nation's capital, with no survivors. Friends and family of the sixty-seven people that died in the crash are now grieving their great loss, along with much of our nation. All of this reminds me once again, of just how beautiful and fragile, life on this fallen planet can be. It also reminds that every human life is eternal, and will continue forever, even after what we call “death”. Additionally, it reminds me that for me every person, including my new grandson and the sixty-seven souls lost over Washington, there is coming a day of personal judgment before a Holy GOD; what I call the “J-day”! Did those sixty-seven stand before GOD on their “J-day“, holding the robe of JESUS, saying I'm with Him”? (as Pastor Curt so often taught us). Will my new grandson do that on his day? Will the people that you know and love do that on their day? Will the people, with whom you live, learn, work, and play, do that on their day? What will you say on your “J-day”? I hope you'll join us as we study what we can say in our day, to impact what the people we know and love will say on their “J-day”, forever changing their eternity! Pastor Joe Still

Trump's role as the nation's “consoler in chief” has spectacularly failed only 10 days into his administration, with him falsely and immediately blaming Biden, Obama, DEI and "wokeness" for the American Airlines Flight 5342 aircraft disaster while victims are being pulled from the icy Potomac, for cheap political gain. Popok looks at the “best and brightest” Trump has hired and how he has already gutted the FAA and NTSB leadership just prior to this disaster. “Life is not about scoreboard watching.” Ryan Clark The Super Bowl match up is set and we are down in Orlando with all the guys who didn't make it but had insane seasons this year! That's right, we got the fellas together down here at the Pro Bowl and we are talking the Big Game in the Big Easy, the Quarterback match ups, Andy Reid's greatness, reality of fan culture, new coach hires, personal fears and how we adjust to the unpredictable moments of life. Ryan, Channing and Fred bring a blend of insight, humor, raw honesty as the trio goes beyond the actual games and talk storylines surrounding the top headlines. Recapping some of the new coach hires of course starting in Duuuval as Fred shares his reaction to the man in charge and not what he said but how he said it to make it the most played sound bite in sports! Continuing around the league, the guys have fun trying to make sense of Jerry Jones' use of the expression Glory hole while Channing weighs in on his own take on what that means which turns into one of the more hilarious stories on the show! Turning attention to next week's game, the powerhouse match up between Philadelphia and Kansas City as the Chiefs try to make history with a three-peat while it's a battle of two highly talented quarterbacks with Patrick Mahomes and Jalen Hurts. Ryan reflects on how, just two years ago, the focus was solely on their race, but today, it's about their ability as elite quarterbacks—a sign of progress. The conversation continues on how rephrasing the way we talk about black quarterbacks is evolving and we should continue to push the narrative to be on the talent, skill and who the athletes are as people not defined by skin color. Fred brings up the unapologetic behaviors of fans and how there is no accountability which Ryan agrees where Channing chimes in that being heckled and shit talked by fans comes with the territory when people sign up to be paid millions of dollars to play a sport. Pivoting to the sad reality for so many, The guys reflect and send a heartfelt message to those impacted by the tragedy of the American Airlines Flight 5342 and use it as a reminder not to take life for granted and understand you never know how the simple things we do daily can not always going as planned. The guys take a moment and chat about they fear in life whether it's a big over arching fear or something fun in the moment that scares them as Ryan, Channing and Fred each share what's on their mind which leads into a deeper look about the fear of failure by the pressure of success. As we wrap the conversation, Ryan leaves the guys asking if they could go back in time to redo an awkward moment in life, what would it be and why….the responses are interesting and show a little deeper look into some of the moments that shaped who the guys are today. //The Wire//2300Z January 30, 2025////PRIORITY////BLUF: COMMERCIAL AIRCRAFT COLLIDES WITH ARMY HELICOPTER IN WASHINGTON D.C.// -----BEGIN TEARLINE------HomeFront-Washington D.C. - At approximately 9:00pm last night, American Airlines Flight 5342 collided with a VH-60M Blackhawk helicopter while on short final approach to Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport (DCA). Both aircraft collided catastrophically, with the debris field largely landing in the Potomac River southeast of the airport. Following the incident, an extremely large scale Mass Casualty (MASCAL) Incident was declared, leading to a large inter-agency rescue operation. Throughout the night, 28x fatalities were reportedly recovered from the involved aircraft. This official casualty figure is expected to rise as the manifest of the American Airlines flight indicated 64x souls onboard at the time of the incident, and 3x crew onboard the Blackhawk. So far, no survivors have been reported from either aircraft. AC: Due to water temperatures being at freezing levels, even if anyone did survive the initial violent collision it is extremely unlikely for anyone to have survived being immersed in water at these temperatures for any length of time.Regarding the manifest of the Blackhawk, few details have been released due to both the privacy considerations for the families, as well as security concerns. The VH-60M helicopter in question was a US Army helicopter from Bravo Company, 12th Aviation Battalion operating out of Davison Army Airfield in Fort Belvoir, VA. This airframe was operating under the callsign of "PAT25", functioning as one of the Priority Air Transport aircraft for VIPs throughout the National Capitol Region (NCR). Per the latest information released by authorities, no VIPs were onboard at the time of the incident as this was a training flight.-----END TEARLINE-----Analyst Comments: At the moment, there are no indications of malign action regarding the collision of AA5342 and PAT25. So far all indications line up suggesting that not only was this a tragic accident, but that the potential for this exact scenario to happen has been many years in the making.Right now, one of the more overwhelming aspects of this accident is that of engagement farming, outrage-baiting, and the spread of generally false information. Or course, the question on everyone's mind is "How could this have happened?". Unfortunately, when it comes to Army aviation, especially within the National Capitol Region (NCR), this mishap is completely within the realm of possibility.Over the past few years, it also became popular for military aviation to fly without their transponders on, or perhaps more accurately, without using ADS-B transponder modes. In short, few military helicopters even have ADS-B, and those that do have been less inclined to use it. As much outrage abounds regarding this helicopter "flying dark" one must remember that most military aircraft do not have even have ADS-B transponders equipped, rather relying on different transponder modes to make their presence known to aircraft around them. As such, the absence of ADS-B data on public flight tracking websites does not automatically mean that the aircraft was "flying dark", they could have been using a different transponder mode that wouldn't show up on many public websites.Further concern has been expressed by various entities (to include the POTUS AND VPOTUS) regarding the cause of the collision. Rather unusually, both the President and Vice President have highlighted deficiencies among Air Traffic Control operators which may have lead to this incident. While many will take this as a crass and inappropriate response while families are still grieving, there may be more to the story than meets the eye, which requires the dropping of sugarcoating. For instance, closed-source mainstream media reporting has suggested that the
The collision of American Airlines Flight 5342 and a military Black Hawk helicopter has once again opened pandora's conspiracy box. Everyone is to blame: Biden, Trump, DEI, DOGE etc. Long before any of these things, however, there was a Lockheed P-38 Lightning that crashed into an Eastern Air Lines Douglas DC-4 back in 1949. We know that there are serious DEI issues, but we also know via video inside Boeing facilities that the cultural rot of laziness and drugs is far more of a plague, and it grows under both Republicans and Democrats. We also know that airplane incidents, crashes, and deaths are becoming increasingly less frequent. Therefore, the idea of some Deep State assassination would be even rarer, though in the case of Loretta Fuddy, Michael Hastings, or even Princess Diana, something equivalent may have been responsible. Of further consideration could be DARPAs testing of the MATRIX autonomy system for black hawk helicopters. Announced in late 2024, the plan was to begin testing them in 2025, some with and some without pilots. Perhaps there was an issue with the computer systems and air traffic control. Perhaps something else is responsible, or perhaps it was nothing more than a super rare event, but one that is nevertheless an accident. -FREE ARCHIVE (w. ads)SUBSCRIPTION ARCHIVEX / TWITTER FACEBOOKWEBSITEPAYPALCashApp: $rdgable EMAIL: rdgable@yahoo.com / TSTRadio@protonmail.comBecome a supporter of this podcast: https://www.spreaker.com/podcast/tst-radio--5328407/support.

Chris fills in for an ailing Sean and covers an already unbelievable week. The horrific crash of American Airlines Flight 5342 into the icy Potomac brings back memories of Air Florida flight 90 which suffered a similar fate in 1982, and our hearts and prayers go out to all the families affected. Meanwhile, it's confirmation hearing palooza on Capitol Hill with US Senators proving time and time again that they aren't even worthy to answer your phones – especially Bernie Sanders and Elizabeth Warren. Chris predicts Kash Patel and RFK Jr. will get through but exudes caution on Tulsi Gabbard given her controversial positions on Putin, Assad, and Edward Snowden. Republicans are fresh off their retreat and we will see where they go with the massive Big Beautiful Bill; or, be more strategic and try to put some wins on the board. Lastly, with he 80th Anniversary of the liberation of Auschwitz, Chris remembers his own research into the juxtaposition of the German Concentration Camps and the American Japanese Internment Camps. He gives special shout out to Geddy Lee of RUSH and his autobiography, “My Effin Life” where Geddy recounts his parents meeting in Auschwitz during the war. We never know what God is doing or His purposes. But we know that through faith we can be healed and have hope. //The Wire// 2300Z November 12, 2024////ROUTINE////BLUF: MORE AIRCRAFT HIT WITH SMALL ARMS FIRE IN HAITI, ALL FURTHER FLIGHTS GROUNDED. INTERNET/CELLULAR OUTAGES OCCUR AROUND THE UNITED STATES.// -----BEGIN TEARLINE------International Events-Haiti: Small arms attacks on commercial aircraft continue. Following the previous Spirit airlines effective Surface-to-Air Fire (SAFIRE) incident that wounded one flight attendant, a JetBlue aircraft that had flown to Port-au-Prince that same day was also later found to have suffered similar combat damage. Upon inspection after arrival in New York, JetBlue Flight 935 was found to have at least one bullet hole in the fuselage of the aircraft. Yesterday afternoon, a third aircraft, flying American Airlines Flight 819 was also found to have small arms damage as well. As ground fire has become light-to-moderate in the vicinity of Port-au-Prince, the FAA has grounded all civilian commercial flights into and out of the country for the next 30 days, in addition to the individual airlines suspending their flights into Haiti for several months. This afternoon the United Nations also suspended all flights into and out of the nation until further notice.-HomeFront-USA: Yesterday the FDA issued a recall of roughly 79,200 pounds of Kirkland brand butter sold by Costco. The reason for the recall is not due to any contamination or safety concern, but due to the label not explicitly stating that butter contains milk. AC: As one might expect, the ridiculous nature of this recall (and the FDA's recommendation to dispose of or return the butter) has served as more of a societal observation than a label error itself.USA: Various nationwide internet/cellular outages from a variety of carriers have been reported throughout the day. This morning a Verizon outage was reported for many customers throughout the northeastern US. Most of the outage appeared to have impacted FIOS customers along the east coast, who largely reported a total blackout of internet connectivity earlier today. No details were provided by Verizon regarding the origin or cause of the outage. This afternoon, T-Mobile customers reported similar outages out west, with reports of major cellular outages throughout southern Utah. Google Fi and Boost Mobile customers also reported random issues throughout the day.Kentucky: This afternoon an explosion occurred at a factory in Louisville, resulting in catastrophic damage and the hospitalization of at least 11 employees. An explosion of unknown origin was reported at the Givaudan Sense Colour factory on Payne Street. A one-mile shelter-in-place zone has been established around the facility as many workers remain either missing or potentially trapped in the rubble. -----END TEARLINE-----Analyst Comments: Initial analysis of what caused the blast in Kentucky is still ongoing. Explosions at industrial facilities are more common that one might think. However exceptionally catastrophic damage from such a kinetic explosion as this one is rare, especially one at a facility that primarily manufactures additives and coloring dyes for various food products. Analyst: S2A1//END REPORT//
This past week, America marked 23 years since thousands of Americans were killed in a series of terrorist attacks in New York City, Shanksville, Pennsylvania, and Washington, D.C.. In our nation's capital, 184 people were murdered when hijackers crashed American Airlines Flight 77 into the Pentagon. Texas State Senator Brian Birdwell (R) was there on September 11th, 2001. He was an Army Lieutenant Colonel at the time and was nearly killed when the explosion knocked him to the ground and burned more than half of his body. Birdwell joined FOX News Rundown host Dave Anthony to share his story of survival. He detailed how he made it out of the Pentagon alive and how he wished for death on more than one occasion as he went through a long and painful recovery. Birdwell also discussed his faith and how he continues to honor the heroes of 9/11, as well as those who lost their lives. We often must cut interviews short during the week, but we thought you might like to hear the full interview. This week on the FOX News Rundown, we will share our entire unedited and sometimes graphic interview with 9/11 survivor Brian Birdwell. Learn more about your ad choices. Visit megaphone.fm/adchoices

(The Flight 191 Disaster) *** In 1966, Richard Speck committed a crime so horrific it gave birth to the term "random mass murder" and changed America forever. His brutal slaying of eight nursing students in Chicago shocked the nation. His time in prison, depraved. (The Original Random Mass Murderer) *** Decimation, was a horrifying practice, where one in ten soldiers would be randomly selected and beaten to death by their own comrades. It continued much longer than most think… well into the 20th century! (Death By Decimation) *** In the 19th century, a man named Samuel Rowbotham sparked a controversial movement by claiming the Earth was flat – and the flat Earth theory continues to attract people even today. (Rejecting The Curve) *** The Ark of the Covenant, a legendary religious artifact, has captivated imaginations for millennia, sparking countless theories about its true nature and whereabouts.
