Kassi Burns, Jon Rowe, and I research whether VR meetings are realistic for the future of work. We each represent different types of businesses that operate within the #ediscovery industry, but jointly think about how the latest enterprise tech might become a discoverable data source for our dispute and investigation matters. You'll get different perspectives from us as a mixed research team. Consider what VR data might mean for law firms, software providers, and consulting companies in the future. We hope this video that we created brings up a number of issues that you haven't already considered yet when thinking about the #metaverse. ***** Subscribe to the Metaverse Forensics newsletter here: http://bit.ly/dffsubstack The Digital Forensics Future (DFF) podcast is also available on the platforms below. As we creep ever closer to the Time of New Doctor Who (aka Series 12), there is rumour and mumblesuch about actors and directors involved in Series 12. Also, scrappy upstart Pluto TV is showing some Classic Who in North America, VR things are happening, new(ish) dollies ad Big Finish and our latest Miniscope, featuring writer Gareth Roberts. We concentrated on Roberts writing contributions for both parts of the Miniscope, but we would be remiss to ignore the controversy surrounding Roberts' views on trans people. We had our big April event in Dallas where we teamed up with Flight School Studio to promote their new game Island Time VR and play some awesome favorites of our own such as Battlesloths 2025, Mario Kart 8, Brawlout and more! We also demo the upcoming game from thatgamecompany called “Sky” for iOS. Finally, Extinction released from the developers behind Killer Instinct and work on many other games and unfortunately it doesn't quite make the mark. Our news features Apple's leak of a VR/AR headset in the works, some hackers making cheats in PUBG, Shadow of the Tomb Raider and Nintendo's focus at E3 this year. Our discussion is about games becoming films and whether or not we should continue to pursue them. If we do continue to make them, how can filmmakers create movies that do the game justice? With Rampage becoming a movie and things like Prince of Persia and Assassin's Creed not doing the best, we're not sure what to expect. Don't forget to check our video segment on this talk Thursday at youtube.com/theinnergamer.
