Tyler Knight shares some Soccer Specific Return To Play or RTP tips and tricks. With nearly a decade of soccer experience, he has seen a lot of growth in sport-specific rehab plans. What is the least soccer specific rehab exercise you have seen? Almost everything we do…discuss the importance of understanding the ‘why' of what we do, as well as never forgetting components of movement. Isometrics because the patient can't perform much more  Eccentrics once able Stretch-shortening cycle Unloaded → supported → unsupported “Train movement not muscles” What do we need to consider in on-field RTP? In order to get to the field, you have to get out of the Athletic Training room first.  Treat the person, not the athlete or the injury (reference all that people have going on in their lives). Ron Corson-ism Good communication, setting expectations, and appropriate planning are MUSTs. Individualization (based on person, position, and injury) Consider our two biggest protective capacities and build upon those early: strength and endurance Programming based upon working zones (importance of ESD) Quantifying internal vs. external load To do that, we have a few basic rules at Charlotte FC: 1. Create a safe environment. 2. Don't hurt the person. 3. Be aggressive without breaking rules 1 and 2. KPIs to provide direction and accountability to the process Additional principles of rehab to accelerate and enhance what we do on the field: Move early, move often. Highlight BFR and isometrics. Don't mess it up. Consider tissue healing times. Periodize manual therapies, incorporate things the person believes in Break down the phases of healing (acute, subacute, remodeling), as well as the places of healing: table, Athletic Training room, gym, field, and everything in between. Create time for mental or psychological recovery KPIs Mobility Stability Function Power On-Field Consider position, individual needs, team tactics, and demands of the sport…and MAKE IT FUN Players have the ball only 3% of the time, a good reason to emphasize the incorporation of the ball and fitness/drill exercises that place focus on getting into the right spaces In 2019/2020 EPL season, the highest average number of passes per game was 688 (Man City; approx 62. per player) and the least was Burnley at 333 (approx. 30 per player). The show kicked off with The Golden Ticket Battle Royal and even though a terrific effort by "The Pretty Boy" Matt Odam. "The Big Man" K. Toomer put the WHOLE ASWF on notice by winning his second golden ticket briefcase. Next up we seen the impressive roll of Luke Justice Jr continue as he upset "Insane" Shane in an excellent encounter. Next up it was brother vs brother as Justin Venson took on his returning brother Daniel in an EXTREMELY personal battle. This matchup did not fail to live to its buildup either as both men beat eachother so badly that neither man was able to answer the refs ten count. Next we would see team ASWF take the 2-1 lead after Asa Morta and Ray Ray picked up the victory over Demike and Tyler Knight. In the next contest we seen Kristian Kross finally vanquish Gigglez in the Gigglez Playground matchup. After intermission we seen Tyler and Demike again this time challenging for the ASWF Tag Team Championship. And yet again they were turned away without a W by Team "WTF" as their reign continues Finally it was time for Rickey Rowland to get his hands on Michael Carnahan in the confines of a matchup. Rowland of course dominated the encounter until his own daughter turned her back on him allowin Carnahan to pick up the win. In our next contest we seen Kid Krazzy capture the ASWF Evolution Championship in an AMAZING 5 man encounter. but the celebration was short lived as Krazzy was attacked by his own trainer! And finally came the main event for the ASWF Championship it was Cataclysm vs Josh Cross for all the marbles. It appeared Cataclysm had won after the encounter but Carnahan and his cronies pulled a fast one. And the decision was reveresed but that is not all as after the encounter Cataclysm was the victim of a beatdown in which his mask came off! Visibly upset at the loss of this precious item Cataclysm laid waste to EVERYONE in the ring including Carnahan as we went off the air!

This Saturday Night is the night of opportunites for EVERYONE in the ASWF! Kicking off with the Golden Ticket Battle Royal which has propelled some of the biggest career jumps in ASWF History. Including last years winner Grayson Beckett who won the ticket that night and then succesfully cashed in on X Kaliber after his match! Speaking of opportunity one tag team will receive a 'golden' opportunity as Winning The Fight has laid an open challenge out for anyone who wants to try and take their titles! Then we will see match 3 in the best of 5 series as Tyler Knight and Demike team up to face Asa Morta and Ray Ray.Also on the subject of opportunity who will get their opportunity to establish themselves as the "better brother' Will it be Justin Venson or his brother coming off a knee injury Daniel Venson and his new attitude? Will Kristian Kross be able to seize the opprotunity of finally putting an end to Giggles? Or will we see Giggles reign supreme in his play house? Will Carnahan be able to get his team a victory as he goes one on one with the owner of the ASWF "Rockin" Rickey Rowland in Match #4 of the series? Will a returning Shane be able to turn back the young upstart in Luke Justice? Or will his metoric rise to the top of the ASWF continue? And finally that brings us to Match #5 in the best of 5 series for all the marbles and the richest prize in the ASWF. Will Cataclysm be able to retain control of Rowland's company? And will he also be able to finally regain his 'trophy' the ASWF Champiionship? Or will Josh Cross cement Carnahans' control of the ASWF?  And also cement his legacy as the most dominant champion in the ASWF's 20 plus year history? All this and more will be discussed as we get you ready for the most historic night in the ASWF's history!

Rickey Rowland kicked us off  appearing to finally have run out of options and was about to name Michael Carnahan the new commisioner of ASWF. But,at the last moment Rowland pulled one over on Carnahan and named "Sensational" Sara commisoner! In our opening contet "The Big Man" K. Toomer continued his winning ways against William Blackwell and Matt Odam. Next up was a non title contest between ASWF Chammpion Josh Cross and "The Suicide King" Ray Ray and Cody Only. After an excellent back and forth bout between the rivals Carnahans' trifecta again attacked Ray. Forcing the referees hand to call off the bout and rule the match a no contest. Dirty Little Dave was out next as he took on both Loose Cannon and Hambone in a triple threat contest that more than delivered on their spectacular resumes. Next up we had Luke justice teaming with the returning Insane Shane against Cataclysm and Asa Morta but the real story came after the matchup as Justice suddenly attacked the returning Shane leaving the fans to wonder what happened. Gigglez waws out next to take on Evolution Champion Steve O, Troy Twain, and Justin Venson. Kristian Kross made his presence known leaving Gigglez out of the contest. Daniel Venson appeared out of nowhere and cost his brother Justin. One has to wonder what is next for these two brothers who once appeared to be so close? Following the matchup Steve O was left laying by Garion Tyr who made his claim to the Evolution Championship known.Tyler Knight and DeMike took on X Kaliber in a handicapped match for the tag team championship. After a valiant effort by X Kaliber it appeared the titles were about to come home with DeMike and Tyler. However, that is when the Maniae struck inciting a FULL RIOT in the Valiant Arena! Things are definitely getting to a boiling point between these 8 individuals. Finally in our main event Tyr lost focus and his matchup against Reggie Montgomery!  

Rickey Rowland and Michael Carnahan started out the last show with a MAJOR announcement as Rowland revealed his 3 competitiors. The owner of the All-Star Wrestling Federation will be represented by Ray Ray, Asa Morta, and Cataclysm The Maniae! In our opening contest the Big Man continued on his roll of wins by taking out the physically imposing Heinzman/Gigglez. Next up we seen X-Ray pull out a huge victory in a triple threat matchup defeating the returning Troy Twain. And Justin Venson who yet again had to deal with issues with his brother costing him another contest. After that the ASWF Champion Josh Cross defeated the ASWF Evolution Champion Steve O in a Champion Vs Champion non title encounter. Next up Luke Justice was without a tag partner last Saturday but he found an adequate replacement. Yet he still came up short against the current ASWF Tag Team Champions Winning The Fight comprised of X Kaliber and Jake Black. Speaking of being without a partner Ray Ray was without a partner before the tag match against Carnahans' cronies. But while Carnahan was gloating in the entry way Ray revealed his plan as he was joined in this match by Cataclysm. However, after some less than ethical tactics DeMike and Tyler Knight picked up a big tag team win, and some much needed momentum. Finally in the Main Event the former tag team champions exploded! As Garion Tyr got the better of former partner Gaston in dramatic fashion. One has to wonder what is next for both of these guys? 

Join us this week as we break down all the breaking news regarding the biggest story to hit the ASWF in 7 years! We will walk you through all the latest updates on the Commisoner Search. Will Michael Carnahan gain ultimate power and become the commisioner of the ASWF? Or will one of the other qualified candiates be able to rise above the issues in the ASWF and finally be able to bring some order? Speaking of Carnahan he shook the ASWF to its very core when during the Big Man K.Toomers' cash in the unthinkable happened. As the 2019 wrestler of the year DeMike turned his back on the very fans who voted for him for the biggest award of the year! Also Luke and Peyton continued their ascension in the ASWF tag team ranks as they were able to defeat the newly crowned champions! Heinzman and Kross were once again set to do battle but that match was never able to reach a proper conclusion and was eneded in a no contest. Also we seen Demike and his new 'associates" pick up the victory over the "Mistress of Mayhem" albeit through nefarious tactics. Also the echampion Josh Cross teamed with Tyler Knight, who also aligned himself with Carnahan earlier in the night,. To spoil the apology of Pure Xcellence Maverick and X Ray and in usual gang fashion they were able to pick up the victory over Pure Xcellence! The #1 contender for the Evolution Championship was also decided at the last show as we now know Kid Krazzy will challenge Steve O.  And we were set in the main event to decide who would be the #1 contender for Cross' ASWF Championship. However, Carnahan and his thugs had other ideas as they interjected themselves in the contest. And forced a no decision and we ended out the show with Carnahan and his trifecta as he calls them in the entry way after they cleared the ringside area. And Cataclysm and the rest of the Maniae were standing tall in the ring finally backing the new force down and back up the entryway!

We kicked things off with "The Golden Ticket" Battle Royal which was won by Ray Ray of the Maniae. One has to wonder with the possibilty of capturing the tag belts. What Championsip Ray may have his sights set on!  Next the #1 seed in the Tag Team Championship tournament Garion and Gaston taking on Tyler Knight and Justin Venson.  When things were seemingly turning in Venson and Knight's corner Daniel Venson suddenly appeared in the entry way.Only to be quickly yanked back!  That wasn't the only bad thing that occured to Justin in this match as suddenly Tyler Knight walked away from a tag from Justin. And then brutally attacked him after thier match. Also the "Big Man" K. Toomer came out calling out Josh Cross. But the champ had a different opponent in mind for Toomer. And out came "The Pretty Boy" Matt Odam to face the "Big Man". Despite his best efforts in kicking out of Black Power Odam ulotimately fell victim to Section 8 and it appears NO ONE will escape section 8. Next up was Kristian Kross taking on Jake Black, Heinzman, and X-Kaliber. Black picked up the victory in this highly competitive encounter. But the main story here was the continued decent into madness by Heinzman or Giggles or whatever it or THAT is called. Also we seen the #2 seed in the tag team championship tournament Ray Ray and Asa Morta take on new comers Peyton Mcallister and Luke Justice. And the young guns did NOT disappoint giving the Maniae all they could handle. And almost took over that #2 seed from Asa and Ray but in the end they were able to regin victorious and continue their monumental roll. Next up we seen the ASWF Championship defended as Josh Cross was challenged by Cataclysm. The match was an excellent encounter and unfortunately Cataclysm won the contest, however it was by disqualification and Cross escaped with his title. Proving that these encounters are FAR from over!

The month of October has arrived and of course as with every year things are getting a little creepier for the stars of the ASWF. At the last show we seen The Valiant Family once again lay waste to the Dirty Little Gang in what appears to be the final time. Also we seen the return of the Enforcer to the ASWF as he was victorious in vanquishing his foe in a very brutal encounter. And speaking of brutal we seen "The Sucide King" Ray Ray delve deeper and deeper into this dark hole of psychosis. As he physically and brutally assaulted Tyler Knight during their encounter with a kendo stick while Knight was hanging. Also we seen "The Storybook Prince" Gaston come out and take on "The Finely Gifted Athlete" Will Cage. Who showed an ample amount of respect for Fred James following his defeat by James just a couple weeks before. This episodes features three short interviews, and a recap of the BC Pinot Celebration from Kelowna. I was fortunate enough to stay with my friends on the Kitsch Wines property, and sample 25-30 different wineries at this celebration.   Also, I was invited to the Garagiste North Wine Festival, which focuses on small wineries in BC, that make 2000 cases or less. Some of them truly are garagiste level, while others are verging on big name success. I was lucky enough to taste quite a few, with some of course being a very low intervention style, so a definite contrast to the bigger wineries. All in all, a great weekend.    I also managed to record a few minutes with three of my favourites from the Garagiste North Wine Festival, which was at Sperling Vineyards in East Kelowna. Mike Mosny of Winemaker's Cut, Anthony Buchanan, who is the head winemaker of Desert Hills, now has his own side label called Anthony Buchanan Wines, and finally Tyler Knight from Lightning Rock, who shares the wine growing and wine making duties with his wife, Jordan Kubek.         Get ready for a fun conversation. Playoffs?!Playoffs!Thats right, the IFL playoffs are here and we recap the first round. Plus my time at the XFL Showcase in Seattle, and Tyler Knight returns to the show!

When we left you at "Christmas with the Claus" Steve-O had just retained his ASWF Championship over Will Cage and Curtis Dawn. Who will be the next person to put thier name in line to face the most resilent ASWF Champion in history? And what is next for the challengers in that fans bring the weapons match for that matter? Speaking of what's next we will have the first in depth interview with "Bad" Brad since being forced to walk away from the ASWF! That was of course because the "Suicide King" was able to defeat the "Original Misfit" Josh Cross in the Last Man Standing Match. Speaking of the "Suicide King" his joy did not last very long as moments after being victorious. The "Infamous Choke Out Artist" "Insane" Shane launched a sneak attack on Ray and left him unconcious in the center of the ring. Both gentlemen are scheduled to be in the building this Saturday you have to assume security will be at an all time high! Tyler Knight were able to defeat the "Titans of Violence" Keegan and Heinzman and the Venson Brothers. But of course if you listen to "The Greatest Gem Known To Man" he once again did it all by himself. Of course you have to give the assist to his partner but also the aformentioned "Titans of Violence". Because after they were defeated they returned to the ring and cost the Venson's their best shot at the belts! We now have a NEW ASWF Evolution champion after X-Kaliber was able to defeat "The Mistress of Mayhem" Asa Morta. Morta put a respectable fight but in the end her body just could not take the pain any longer . In the most brutal match of 2018 Cataclysm finally destroyed Deadly Dale in the Barbed Wire Mayhem Match. And in what has to be the match of the year for 2018 D-Mike was FINALLY able to defeat Insane Shane. After a short break ASWF Aftermath is back and LIVE on Talk Radio 49 and the ASWF Facebook Page! 

This past Saturday tensions completely boiled over inside the Valiant Arena. At the beginning of the show Ray finally got to take out all his frustrations on Brad. And now his path back into the ASWF has become clear. He must defeat “The original misfit” in a last man standing match! Also Demike and Shane continued their bad blood and the ringside area could not contain the violence. What is going to happen when these two step inside the ring. In a 2 out of 3 falls match! Maxx and Tyler Knight once again formed a successful unit defeating Grayson Beckett and El Rey. One has to wonder what is going to happen when Maxx steps into his next title defense Dec 15th. Speaking of title defenses we now know that Asa Morta will defend the Evolution Championship against X-Kaliber in a submission match. Leaving the champ at an obvious disadvantage in her defense! And speaking of obvious disadvantages we now know. Dec 15th Steve-O will make his first title defense as undisputed champion. Against Will Cage and Curtis Dawn at the same time! In a triple threat fans bring the weapons encounter! And finally we also found out that Cataclysm will meet Deadly Dale. In a barbed wire mayhem match where you can guarantee there will be blood! Riley Perez, author of 'What Is Real: The Life and Crimes of Darnell Riley'. Raised in L.A by his grandfather who instilled in him his Jewish faith, Riley was a multi sport athlete who gravitated to boxing. His passion for the sport took him from the comfort of his Hancock Park neighborhood to train at gyms around L.A, eventually settling at Broadway Gym in South Central where he trained under Bill Slayton. The combination of being a straight A student and the first rate education on the L.A streets caught the attention of Robert "Puggy" Zeichick, one half of a Jewish-Italian bookmaking team. Riley started doing pick-ups and quickly graduated to felonious capers. After a stint in juvenile reform school, Riley resumed his gambling association, which had grown to working for Matthew "Matty the Horse" Ianniello. He balanced his bookmaking business with his travels as an employee for TWA. Briefly, Riley settled on University studies in Germany, but returned to LA full time after capitalizing on the tech boom of the 90s in part by day trading stocks and then creating software that he licensed to Washington Mutual Bank, a company he worked for, which allowed him a solid foundational understanding of banking regulations, that he took with him into his online gaming ventures. Tyler Knight author of 'Burn My Shadow: A Selective Memory of an X-Rated Life', is an adult film actor who has performed in over 500 films. He was a Playgirl Spokesmodel. In 2009 he won the Good For Her Feminist Porn Award as Heartthrob of the Year, and was nominated for the Urban X Award: Performer of the Year. He has been nominated for 18 AVN Awards and has won 3. He lives in Los Angeles, CA.
