"Unspoken Struggles of Burnout in Healthcare" cATalyzing Short -w/ Ryan Stevens In episode 62, we dive into burnout in healthcare (also applicable across many other fast-paced high-demand professions). Imagine working super hard to help people, yet feeling super stressed and tired all the time. That's what happens to many healthcare professionals who suffer from burnout. At times it feels like a heavy backpack full of sadness and exhaustion, making it hard to smile and keep going. We juggle caring for patients, mountains of paperwork or e-notes, and sometimes even an angry patient or family of the patient! Here's the cool part: even though we're tired, we still see that kid's happy face after surgery or hear a "thank you" from a grateful family, and that reminds us why we chose this tough job - to make people feel better! So, what can we do? We need to help our healthcare heroes! Imagine a healthcare system which supports the healers and team members, enabling compassionate fulfilled providers to deliver the best care to those in need. Take a listen and share your thoughts, challenges, and strategies to minimize the unspoken struggles of burnout in the workplace. ________________________________________ About the host, Ryan Stevens, MPS, ATC, CSCS Connect with Ryan on Linkednin! www.linkedin.com/in/rstevensatc Follow "cATalyzing Insights" on social: @catalyzingATs → Instagram, Facebook, & X Subscribe to "cATalzying Insights" on YouTube /@catalyzingats .
