Failure doesn't need to be a hitching post to tie us to the past. Failure can be a guidepost to lead us into the future. The Bible has never told us to dedicate self. We are to deny self. A. Peter's strongest point – Courage B. Abraham's strongest point – Faith C. Moses' strongest point – Meekness D. David's strongest point – Integrity 1. In times of failure, we need to see the Sovereignty of Jesus. “Faith is believing God in spite of appearances, and obeying God in spite of consequences.” 2. In times of failure, we need to see the Sympathy of Jesus. Jesus does not change you so He can love you. He loves you so He can change you. 3. In times of failure, we need to see our Security in Jesus. Now the devil is looking for the flaws; the Lord is looking for the wheat. Satan may desire you my friend, but he cannot destroy you. Satan may tempt you, but he cannot take you. Repentance. Crying isn't what God is looking for. He is not looking at your eyes, He is looking at your heart.

In this episode, Dr. Cindra Kamphoff talks about how the World’s Best in every field have a short-term memory of their mistakes and a long-term memory of their successes. Moving on quickly after a mistake helps us be confident and become or remain a high performer. You can use the strategy Cindra talks about in this episode (Learn, Burn, Return) to move on quickly from a mistake taking the lesson and remaining confident. Phrase this Week: “I learn and burn having a short term memory of my mistakes.” Quote of the Week: “Failure is an event, never a person; an attitude, not an outcome; a temporary inconvenience; a stepping stone. Our response to it determines just how helpful it can be.” Zig Ziglar
With Biden's first week out of the way, what have we all learned from the decisions made? Well, first, he is going to erase everything that President Trump worked so hard to do. He is putting people in the poor house, killing off businesses, allowing men to compete in woman's sports, making gas prices go through the roof, forcing our military to sleep in a cold garage while our nation's capitol, etc. My God! Total and complete failure of leadership! Join us as our Blood Pressure rises and we discuss all this garbage! Please share this podcast with friends and family. The Woot and Wye boys caught up with Dr Data himself, Dr Darryl Woodford to discuss Week 4 NFL action. The thing is, their questions just brought up more questions, and those questions, brought up more questions…. which of course were answered. Sometimes. * Are the Miami Dolphins underrated or overrated? * What do Eli Manning and Matt Ryan have in common… and what does it have to do with Drew Brees? * What are the toughest teams to get a read on at the moment? Jacksonville? Tennessee? Arizona? * Who was the last QB drafted #1 to win their first start? * Pat Mahomes is the MVP favourite, but are there some concerns around the Chiefs? Let's discuss. Cat sat down to chat with Latin Grammy-nominated singer Manu Manzo! Manu is a singer/songwriter born in Venezuela and raised in the city of Miami. This inspiring young woman has fearlessly embraced her creative gifts which led her to study at Berklee College of Music in Boston and ultimately compose alongside artists like Alex Ubago, Tommy Torres, and Luis Enrique. Her sound is a combination of the genres that have influenced her life: from Latin music to Jazz, Hip-Hop to Neo Soul, as well as the Blues. Manu has embarked on the journey of finding the balance between old school and new school without losing the essence of who she really is. In September 2015 she was nominated as "Best New Artist" in the 16th edition of the Latin Grammy Awards and in 2016 she signed with Peer Music Publishing and Aquos Music Publishing. Throughout this interview, Manu walks Cat through her early life, relives the ups and downs that have led her to where she is today, and gives out encouraging messages to her fellow millennials. This episode is proof that we've gotta be okay with pivoting and changing course from time to time. It's like the wife who once appeared on my show wondering why her relationship with her husband had broken down. She kept saying "he used to make me so happy. He doesn't make me happy anymore' what she couldn't see was that she was the cause of her own effect. Happiness is never something you get from other people. The happiness you feel is in direct proportion to the love or happiness you're able to give. If you think something is missing in your life or you're not getting what you deserve- remember there is no yellow brick road. You lead life. It doesn't lead you." Here’s the really weird bit: We know. But we pretend that’s not what’s going on. Instead, we proudly show off our new stuff, and say things like, “You’ve got to get one of these!” Sure, it’s fun and that excitement is real. But in most cases, we haven’t really done our homework. We skip that step and go straight to believing if something’s for sale, it must be good. We’ve not learned about where our stuff comes from, what kind of harmful materials went into making those things, whether or not the people who made that stuff were treated fairly, and if there’s an environmentally responsible way to safely dispose of all that stuff when we’re done with it. So, here we are; this peculiar species, frantically racing about – consumed with doing anything we can to make enough money to buy these curious things we’re convinced will make us happy. The truly astonishing thing is how fleeting our happiness has become. It’s almost like finding the thing has become the source of our joy – even more so than the thing itself. Before we know it, we’ve become preoccupied with finding the next thing, and the next thing." Evan Zislis Quote of the Week “Failure is so important. We speak about success all the time. It is the ability to resist failure or use failure that often leads to greater success. I’ve met people who don’t want to try for fear of failing…It is impossible to live without failing at something, unless you live so cautiously that you might as well not have lived at all – in which case you fail by default.” ~ J.
