If you paid for WrestleMania 28 due to the tag line, "Once in a Lifetime" you may be owed compensation. In a huge case of deja vu, we're confronted with John Cena vs. The Rock from the Meadowlands, just outside of New York City in swampy New Jersey (everything's legal in New Jersey). Not far from where Aaron Burr shot Alexander Hamilton, Chris Christie wore a sweatshirt for an out-of-state university, HHH pretended to hit Brock Lesnar with a sledgehammer, Paul Heyman tastefully mocked a dead person, and Dutch Mantel was xenophobic, racist, antisemitic, and showed linguistic prejudice against pretty much everyone. WrestleMania 29 had something for everyone and something for no one. There's an unprecedented number of WrestleMania debuts and WWE in-ring debuts on this show (welcome to the table, Roman Reigns). Tim and Rich also break down the recent WWE releases and Rich reports back from the Pay Your Dues wrestling at the American Legion (big love to Dirty Money). Thanks for listening! For Wrestlemania 29, WWE decided that they quite liked the money to be made from a match between The Rock and John Cena, and so decided to ignore their promise of 'once in a lifetime' from the previous year, and book a rematch between the two, this time for the WWE Title. Rematches were the name of the game for the show, as in a return bout from their clash at SummerSlam 2012, Triple H would battle Brock Lesnar in a no-disqualification match, where Triple H would be forced to retire if he lost. In addition, CM Punk would battle The Undertaker, The Shield would make their Wrestlemania debut, and Chris Jericho would take on Fandango. The Random Wrestling Review is brought to you this time by Matt, Alex and Tinky.

Voici l'épisode 18 de La Cloche ! Cette semaine on s'intéresse notamment à WrestleMania 29, le premier PPV WWE que j'ai commenté en quasi-direct à la télévision !
Welcome, boys and girls, to another episode of The Lawcast. This time the Wrestlemania Anthology continues as we reach Wrestlemania 29, the night WWE "came home" to the New York area for the first time since Wrestlemania 20. It's a huge show headlined by Rock-Cena II, which to date is The Rock's last real wrestling match. Why did our hosts like the storyline more the second time around? Wasn't this the time John Cena should have finally turned heel? We've also got CM Punk vs. The Undertaker in another entry in the legendary saga of Undertaker's undefeated streak. Was Punk a worthy challenger? Should he have been the one to break The Streak? And why was this the beginning of the end of Punk's WWE career? Plus Brock Lesnar vs. Triple H in a match that doesn't really click and Alberto Del Rio vs. Jack Swagger for the World Heavyweight Title.

Wrestlemania 29, April 7th 2013; CM Punk Vs The Undertaker Remember CM Punk? Remember The Undertaker's undefeated streak at Wrestlemania? Join Matty and Dav as they discuss the character work of both wrestlers, the use of Paul Heyman, and the psychology of wrestling storytelling. Do all these factors combine on re-watch to make the story of CM Punk trying to defeat the streak compelling? Or does it not hold up knowing Brock Lesnar beat the streak the year after?
The Undertaker goes for 21-0! Join wrestling superfans Alex Doriot and Traivs White on their journey through every PPV match of The Undertaker's career as he tries to honor the legacy of his mentor against the disrespectful CM Punk at WrestleMania 29.
