This week on Dread Media, it's a doozy. First, Desmond and Tom review the Indonesian horror film The Queen of Black Magic. Then, Desmond goes solo on the Indonesian horror film The Queen of Black Magic. One is from 2020, and the other is from 1981. It is claimed they're an original and a remake, but it is definitely not a remake, other than the fact that the original movie's credits feature images from the first film. So weird. But they're both good! Also, tunes: "Insects" by Osaka Popstar, "Black Magic" by Slayer, "The Witches" by Anacondas, and "You Must Be a Witch" by Stiv Bators. You Must Be the Hero of Your Story… “There comes a time when you gotta keep moving.” -Bugzy Malone, Artist I was listening to a song from one of my new favorite artists today (Bugzy Malone) and he said that phrase and it really got me thinking about the struggles and sense of overwhelm that many people are facing right now in their lives. He also went on to say, You Can't Look at a Problem, You Gotta Look Thru the Problem Agree 100%. So what does the really mean and how do you start to look past your problems in order to move forward in your life…but also move forward in a BIG way? Well, I think it means you need to make a decision to Become the Hero of Your Story. You've probably heard this phrase before but it's time you really gave it some serious consideration. What does it mean to Be the Hero of Your Story? What would the hero of your story look like? How would the hero of your story of life act, show up and manage the problems you are facing? The bottom line is, whether you believe it or not, you are the author and the main character in your life's story. And…you have the ability to write the next chapter. Your thoughts, intentions, actions, and strategy will determine the results you will see over the coming months. The Hero of your Story needs to be the one to Show up, Step up and Conquer the fears, challenges and obstacles that life has presented to you. But, here is the catch… You cannot pretend to be the Hero. You must actually Decide and Act like the Hero. The Key is to remember that even Heros have setbacks. Even Heros can have a comeback. In order to become the Hero that you were meant to be, you need to adopt values, disciplines and actions that Your Hero would adopt. Let me suggest just a few… Keep Your Eye on the Mission This is your vision. If you are looking at the problem you will not be able to find the solution. If your head is down, you can't see where you are going. Keep your head up, and stay clear on the goals, dreams and desires that you have for your Future. But, this means you need to have a clear vision, so Write it down. Write down what you want your life to be like and get clear on what you will do to make that happen. Most importantly, have a vision so big that is overshadows the problems you are facing. The key to success is not asking for less or smaller problems. The key is asking for enough strength and vision that is bigger than your problems. Then you will develop the skills and talents and experience to handle even greater challenges. Stop Giving Energy and Focus to the Past A True Hero, Your Hero, doesn't stay focused on the past let failures. The past does not define you. It should only Empower you because you are NOT that person any more. You are the new person that has learned from the past. You are the more experienced, the more dedicated, the more driven person that exists in the present. So, like Rocky said, “its not how many times you get knocked down that counts. It's how many times you get knocked down and get back up that defines you”. Be the person (and the hero) that will never quit. The person that doesn't ever stay down. Learn How to Create Momentum Go back and listen to the podcast last week on momentum, but I want to emphasize here that, if you learn to create momentum, you will be UNSTOPPABLE. The Hero of your story is absolutely Unstoppable. You can create momentum for yourself by simply aligning with yoru Unique Talents, Setting Huge goals, Removing Distractions, Finding your sources of Energy, and Leveraging the Power of the Mastermind. With momentum on your side, you can overcome even the biggest challenges, so find ways to create energy and momentum in your life and break through to new heights. Its by operating outside your comfort zone and pushing into the unknown that you will find your greatest joys and rewards. Know the Journey will be Long Listen, you just like any other hero are not perfect. You will fail at times. You will do and say the wrong things at times. You won't have all the answers and things won't always go according to plan. But, trust yourself. Trust your ability to learn and adapt rather than trusting in the outcome. Trust and have faith in the process rather than the end goal. Be a person of decision, commitment and conviction and then trust that you will be taken in the right direction. You see when we let go of the outcome and learn to embrace the journey, we are much better able to handle what the story of life throws in our path. If you are not open to detours and new paths, then you will be focused on the wrong things when the objective is just to create, live and enjoy your life. The journey you begin is based on your current perception of what you want and how you will write the story. But, as you grow, your journey can take on many new and exciting paths to help you become the true Hero and fulfill your destiny. Know that Being Stuck is Temporary Just like a path in the forest or a map you are following for directions, sometimes you will make a wrong turn and get stuck. Sometimes the path you take will lead you in the wrong direction. When that happens, just know that making a course correction is ok and being stuck is only temporary. Getting upset or distracted with being stuck or lost only drains you of the energy you could be using to accomplish your task. Course correct and keep moving forward. Again, Bugzy Malone, “Keep moving, Losing, Keep Moving, Losing…” Even Heros have setback. It's the drive and determination of a Hero that overcomes that battle. Make a decision and a commitment today to Be the Hero. Be the one you are hoping to show up and rescue you. Be the one who will create and manifest your future. Only you can make it happen and only you have the power to Be the Hero of Your Story.

Intention Statement: I HAVE TODAY...to Only Look at the POSITIVE! How do you see the light at the end of the tunnel when you feel stuck in the dark? I get asked this question so often. Two stories I’ve shared are about two separate women who constantly tell me what’s wrong with them. They wake up and ask, “Ok, what other bad news is coming my way today?...because I’m strong and I can handle it!” That is, unfortunately, the exact opposite of what they should be saying. You know the expression, “Ask, and you shall receive?” Well, whatever you ask for, you WILL receive. Therefore, when times are tough, please don’t ask for more! I shared WHY this is happening at the beginning of the episode, but TODAY’s show is all about WHAT TO DO and HOW TO DO IT. Please tune in to learn how you can stay positive during the hard times. The take-aways: You MUST Be in a State of GRATITUDE One of the best “secrets” I learned about how to stay in gratitude is from Rhonda Byrne, the creator of “The Secret!” In her book, The Power, she teaches you that you only need to tip the scale to 51% being positive, and living in love and gratitude, to shift things in favor of you and a positive direction. It’s a must read. I read it once a year. You can get your own copy right here. The How: Read the book, “The Power” by Rhonda Byrne Do a Daily List of Gratitude You MUST Only Look at Things in a Positive Way Don’t talk negatively about anyone or anything. Don’t be dissing your boss, or coworkers, or mother, or spouse, or anyone!!! THAT will give you more of exactly what you have, which is what you don’t want! The How: Rewrite the scenario! Put a $ Million Dollar Bill $ in your Bra or Pocket! (Get them here) You MUST Stay Happy Abraham Hicks says, “Your work is to be Happy. Period.” That is our only work here. In order to be in an abundant vibration, you must keep your energy, attitude, frequency, and vibration high, high, high! The How: Stop Asking for What You Want Over and Over Again! Learn How to do “Segment Intending” Final Takeaway: The Universe is Bored Waiting for You to Ask for What You Want!!! To learn the specifics, tune in to the show, and start TODAY to Stay Positive When You’re Going Through Tough Times, and watch them begin to disappear!!! Welcome back Coach! I'm so so excited that you're here as this weeks episode is all about creating, pricing and selling 'High Ticket' coaching programs... but with that comes a little warning chat I want to have first. High Ticket = High value = Huge Results... like life-changing results. I don't recommend just increasing your prices so you can be 'high-ticket' or so you can just make more money. The only reason why you should have high-value coaching programs is to deliver huge results for your coaching clients, period. Not only will you start attracting high-quality clients into your coaching business (no more dabblers or part-timers) but you'll also enjoy working with fewer people, which gives you time to actually focus on your clients and deliver huge results! These days there's so much high-ticket talk online out there that I thought dropping an episode to help clear the air and settle any confusion was in order... so the big goal of this episode is to help you (the expert coach) develop your high ticket / high-value coaching programs so you can work with fewer people and deliver greater results! There's really 4 Rules that I help my clients establish when they're creating their high ticket offers. follow these rules and the selling part actually becomes quite easy: RULE #1: THE VALUE FROM THE PROGRAM MUST BE 10X (at least) THE COST RULE #2: YOU MUST LEARN TO CLEARLY ARTICULATE THE VALUE YOU PROVIDE RULE #3: ALWAYS REMEMBER YOU'RE NOT SELLING COACHING... YOUR SELLING RESULTS RULE #4: YOU MUST BE 100% CONFIDENT IN YOUR PROGRAM (or you'll never sell it) So, with those 4 rules in mind, let's tackle this whole high ticket program idea and let's see how you can create, price, sell and implement a high ticket coaching offer into your coaching business! Enjoy! -- Lucas Episode Breakdown: How To Create, Price and Sell Your High Ticket Coaching Program 2:31: Creating, pricing and selling your high ticket offers will totally change your coaching business 3:22: High Ticket equals High Value equals Huge Results 4:47: Rule #1: The value inside your program must exceed the cost by 10X 5:56: Rule #2: Learn how to clearly articulate the value you provide! (Crystal Clear) 6:25: Rule #3: Always remember you're selling a RESULT... you're not selling a coaching program 8:47: Rule #4: You must be 100% Confident with your program (or you'll never sell it) 10:36: Let's crush 4 of the biggest negative beliefs when it comes to selling high ticket programs 14:25: Can you only sell high ticket coaching programs in the money making space? 15:47: Why did I move into the online 'business' coaching space... (wasn't just for the money) 17:44: How to package your high ticket coaching program 18:32: What are you the BEST of the best in the world at!? 20:01: How to Price your high-ticket coaching programs the Right Way 23:11: How to actually 'sell' your coaching program the easy way... without pushing 26:23: The average income for an online coach is under 12,000 a year... I'm here to change that! Plug in your headphones and open your incognito browsers, because this week’s episode of Edge Guard is about porn! Or rather, it’s about You Must Be 18 or Older to Enter, a game about a kid in the 90s stealthily attempting to access porn on the early Internet while the parents aren’t home. For a game about porn, it’s surprisingly frightening—though not as frightening, perhaps, as the content policy that got this game removed from the Steam marketplace... #playmoreporngames Download the game here: https://seeminglypointless.itch.io/18orolder Follow the creators on Twitter: @seempoint
