They also highlight the Georgia Bulldogs earning a No. 9 seed for the NCAA tournament and will face Gonzaga in the opening round as well as the Georgia Tech Women's team earning a No. 9 seed and opening up the women's bracket against Richmond on Friday.
Drew and Zinno comeback with some more Falcons and Kirk Cousins talk as they share more of their thoughts on the Falcons not cutting the veteran QB therefore triggering a roster bonus of $10M which will be due in 2026. As they discuss, they note the Falcons may eventually be off the hook for the $10M should they find a trade partner for Cousins who would take on the money and why this may not be the worst-case scenario for the Falcons as Drew believes Terry Fontenot has been handling the situation well.

As they share their thoughts, Drew states he believes the Falcons have to reach the postseason this season and ask Zinno to share his thoughts on what would be a “win” in the upcoming draft to which Zinno believes would be to get Kirk Cousins off the roster.

Zinno kicks off the show with the latest Atlanta sports headlines including brief thoughts on the Falcons and Kirk Cousins injury controversy and Michael Penix Jr. saying he believes in Kyle Pitts, NFLPA saying no players want to play 18 games, which Zinno believes 18 games will happen regardless of what the NFLPA says, and the Hawks lose to the Spurs and Zinno believes they have to make a trade and stop settling for being middle of the road team.
Zinno comes back with some more thoughts on the Falcons and Kirk Cousins' recent remarks in which he stated he indeed was injured in Week 10 against the Saints and later said it was a clerical era by being listed on the injury report the following week, which Zinno credits the Falcons for handling that correctly and believes the team will not be penalized by the NFL. As Zinno continues with thoughts on Cousins, he believes that while the Falcons may not want to because of the contract the quarterback is under, the team needs to move on from him this offseason.
Zinno gets into the latest college sports headlines including Georgia Southern and Clay Helton agreeing on a 5-year contract extension and while Zinno believes it is a good move for Georgia Southern, however does not believe Helton will be there for five more season due to eventually being offered a job at a power conference school. Also in the headlines, Ron Rivera announced he is returning to college football as he is taking on an administration role with his alma mater, Cal.
Zinno gets into a conversation on the Falcons and Terry Fontenot not being at the Senior Bowl for the second year in a row. While last year Zinno believes searching for a head coach was the priority, he believes it is strange there must have been other priorities which kept the Falcons' GM from scouting at the Senior Bowl.
