The Atlanta Braves and Brian Snitker today announced that the long-time manager will transition to an advisory role within the organization for the 2026 season, and will be inducted into the Atlanta Braves Hall of Fame prior to a game next year. Snitker, 69, guided the Braves to 811 wins, six NL East division crowns and seven postseason berths over parts of 10 seasons in his managerial tenure, and led the club to the fourth World Series title in franchise history in 2021. He was a four-time finalist for NL Manager of the Year in his nine full seasons at the helm and won the award in 2018. Snitker completed his 49th season in the Braves organization in 2025, and his ninth full campaign as the Braves manager. He took over on an interim basis on May 17, 2016, before being named Atlanta’s permanent manager on October 11, 2016.
