October 15, 2025 - Season 16, Episode 37 of The Terrible Podcast is now in the can. In this Wednesday morning episode, Alex Kozora and I get right to talking about the Pittsburgh Steelers as they prepare to play the Cincinnati Bengals on Thursday night. We discuss the Steelers' injury report heading into Wednesday, the free agent visitor the team brought in on Tuesday, and other miscellaneous items related to the team that happened since Monday. On Tuesday, we heard from two of the Steelers' coordinators, Arthur Smith and Teryl Austin, so Alex and I recap the main talking points to come out of those media sessions on this short week. There is a lot of talk from us in this segment about Steelers ILB Patrick Queen and TE Darnell Washington based on comments made by both coordinators on Tuesday. With the all-22 from the Steelers Week 6 game against the Cleveland Browns now fully digested by both of us, Alex and I go deeper into our recap of that home win this past Sunday. We discuss how the Steelers were able to minimize the impact of Browns DE Myles Garrett on Sunday and how that unit ran the ball more effectively in that contest. Steelers T Broderick Jones is a big conversation topic coming out of the game against the Browns, so Alex and I discuss his play and future outlook with the team now in Week 7. Alex and I go over the play of the Steelers' defense against the Browns and how the depth on that side of the football performed well overall after a few starters were pulled from the contest in the fourth quarter. I welcome Jay Morrison of Sports Illustrated back to the show, and he helps me get started with a preview of the Bengals-Steelers game. Morrison has covered the Bengals for many seasons, and nobody knows that team better than he does. I get his thoughts on several things related to Thursday's night game in Cincinnati. Jay fills all of us in on the trade that the Bengal's made for veteran QB Joe Flacco and how he played in Week 6 against the Green Bay Packers. We talk about the status of Bengals DE Trey Hendrickson headed into Wednesday and how the Bengals might get a few other injured players back for the game against the Steelers. Jay talks about the Bengals offense and defense quite a bit during his time with me and I get his score prediction for the Thursday night game at the end of the interview. If not already doing so, make sure to follow Jay on X/Twitter at @ByJayMorrison and make sure to read his work here: https://www.bengalstalk.com After finishing with Morrison, Alex and I provide our own preview of the Bengals-Steelers game. We break down what we are looking for out of each team on both sides of the football on Thursday night in Cincinnati. Alex and I then give our picks against the spread for the Thursday night game between the Steelers and the Bengals using the line provided by show sponsor MyBookie.ag. This 118-minute episode also discusses several other minor topics not noted above. steelersdepot.com Learn more about your ad choices. Visit megaphone.fm/adchoices
October 15 – Ep. 76: For this episode of The Depot Dive, Ross McCorkle and Joe Clark recap the Steelers' 23-9 win over the Cleveland Browns. We discuss the defense finally living up to expectations, the offense starting the game with a bang, and Nick Herbig's big day. For the second topic, we talk about Darnell Washington dominating the TE snap share and whether or not he will end the season as the team's top tight end. For the third topic, we go over the injury report for the Bengals and Steelers and preview their Thursday Night Football matchup. To wrap up the show, we answer a listener question about Arthur Smith not getting enough credit. October 10, 2025 - Season 16, Episode 35 of The Terrible Podcast is now in the can. In this Friday morning episode, Alex Kozora and I get right to talking briefly about the Thursday night game between the New York Giants and the Philadelphia Eagles and how it was a huge coming out party for both QB Jaxson Dart and RB Cam Skattebo on the main stage. Alex and I move on to discuss the Pittsburgh Steelers' injury report heading into Friday. We talk about Steelers CB Jalen Ramsey and WR Calvin Austin III both trying to return this week from their respective injuries. We also discuss what the early inactive list for the Sunday home game against the Cleveland Browns is shaping up to be. The Steelers brought in a few free agents for tryouts this past week, so Alex and I go over that list of players and the return of ILB Jacoby Windmon to the practice squad. On Thursday, we heard from two of the Steelers' coordinators, Arthur Smith and Teryl Austin, so Alex and I recap the main talking points to come out of those media sessions. Will Steelers OL Spencer Anderson factor into the receiving game on Sunday against the Browns? Alex and I go deep into trying to answer that question on this Friday. We also talk about the roles of Steelers outside linebackers Alex Highsmith and Nick Herbig on Sunday and if either have a shot at making huge plays against the Browns. Alex and I welcome Scott Petrak of The Chronicle-Telegram and Medina Gazette back to the show, and he helps us get started with a preview of the Steelers-Browns game. Petrak has covered the Browns for many seasons, and nobody knows that team better than he does. We get his thoughts on several things related to Sunday's game at Acrisure Stadium. Scott fills us in on the two trades that the Browns made this past week and if the loss of veteran QB Joe Flacco might impact the upcoming game against the Steelers from a preparation standpoint. We talk about the Browns on offense and defense and how Cleveland's rookie class seems to be impacting the team in a lot of positive ways so far in 2025. At the end of our talk with Petrak, he gives us his score prediction for the Steelers-Browns game. If not already doing so, make sure to follow Scott on X/Twitter at @ScottPetrak and make sure to read his work here: https://www.brownszone.com After finishing with Petrak, Alex and I provide our own preview of the Steelers-Browns game. We break down what we are looking for out of each team on both sides of the football on Sunday at Acrisure stadium in Pittsburgh. Alex and I then give our picks against the spread for all of the Week 6 games in the NFL using the lines provided by show sponsor MyBookie.ag. We also give our score predictions for Steelers-Browns to end that segment. This 112-minute episode also discusses several other minor topics not noted and we close out this show by answering a few questions we received via email from listeners. steelersdepot.com Learn more about your ad choices. Alan Saunders and Zachary Smith discuss all things Pittsburgh Steelers. Today, Chris Carter of the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette and the Locked On Steelers podcast fills in for Zach, and he and Alan break down Arthur Smith's comments about the Steelers' offense, particualry the jumbo package, and how sustainable the team's usage of it will be going forward. The guys also talked about whether the team's skill position players will be upset by the lack of targets, whether that should factor into Omar Khan's trade deadline plans, and whether the team can find a more effective downfield passing game. Let's go for another Steelers Afternoon Drive and discuss all this! Learn more about your ad choices. Visit megaphone.fm/adchoices
Steelers offensive coordinator Arthur Smith said the Steelers have a ton of catch and run players with their offense. He mentioned Blockbuster video. Joe doesn't think Pat Freiermuth needs to be much more involved if the offense is working. Arthur Smith doesn't think Jaylen Warren and Kenneth Gainwell are prototypical running backs. Glamping is taking over camping.
Hour 4 with Joe Starkey: Steelers offensive coordinator Arthur Smith said the Steelers have a ton of catch and run players with their offense. Arthur Smith doesn't think Jaylen Warren and Kenneth Gainwell are prototypical running backs. Jeff thinks Alex Highsmith, Joey Porter Jr. and Jaylen Warren will play on Sunday.

Smith's Sayings – What did Arthur Smith say to the Steelers media earlier today? Steve Palazzolo from the 33rd Team joined the show. Steve broke down the Browns' trades over the last couple of days, which included moving Joe Flacco and swapping corners with Jacksonville. What was Steve's impression of the Dillon Gabriel debut? Steve thinks spreading out the Browns defense is the best play. What are some things the Browns do well? Steve is confused as to why Pat Freiermuth has been phased out of the Steelers offense. Steve doesn't think the Bengals got that much more dangerous with the acquisition of Flacco. If the Ravens start 1-5, Steve feels like the tide will finally be turned on the Steelers being the favorite in the division. Donny Football Debrief – The Browns are currently paying 8 QBs. They still owe Deshaun Watson $35.9M.

On the Wednesday episode of the North Shore Drive podcast, presented by FanDuel and Edgar Snyder & Associates, Post-Gazette Steelers insiders Christopher Carter and Brian Batko ponder Pat Freiermuth's lack of usage early this season. Is his lack of presence in the passing game a problem for OC Arthur Smith and QB Aaron Rodgers? Has it simply made more sense to get the ball to other targets including DK Metcalf, Calvin Austin III, Jonnu Smith and Darnell Washington? And how much could his role in the offense change depending upon who the Steelers are playing in a given week? Do the Cleveland Browns in NFL Week 6 present a better matchup? Our duo tackles those questions, plus a flurry of AFC North trades this week, including Joe Flacco to the Bengals and Alohi Gilman to the Ravens in exchange for Odafe Oweh. Welcome to Steelers Morning Rush, our new daily short-form podcast with Alan Saunders, giving a longer perspective on a single news topic surrounding the Pittsburgh Steelers or the National Football League. Today, it's the concept of a wham block, and how Arthur Smith and company might use that against the Cleveland Browns and Myles Garrett. Wham is a play that stems from the trap family of offensive plays, something that Chuck Noll's teams used a lot in the 1970s and 1980s. Could Smith and company break it out this week to help deal with a devastating Cleveland run defense? Alan breaks it down. Learn more about your ad choices. Visit megaphone.fm/adchoices
The guys make fun of Austin's fashion. The Bengals traded for Joe Flacco. Mark thinks the Ravens can get to 10 wins, but their defense is a mess and injured. Arthur Smith crushed Brian Flores' defense and Mark thinks the Steelers showed they can out-coach opponents.
Hour 2 with Bob Pompeani and Joe Starkey: The guys make fun of Austin's fashion. The Bengals traded for Joe Flacco. Mark thinks the Ravens can get to 10 wins, but their defense is a mess and injured. Mark Kaboly thinks Browns-Steelers will go down to the wire. The Steelers run defense is going to be tested against a good Browns run game. He thinks this is Roman Wilson's opportunity.
October 3, 2025 - Season 16, Episode 32 of The Terrible Podcast is now in the can. In this Friday morning episode, Alex Kozora and I get right to talking about Cleveland Browns rookie QB Sheduer Sanders going full mime in a recent interview ahead of his team's Sunday morning game in England against the Minnesota Vikings. The San Francisco 49ers beat the Los Angeles Rams Thursday night in an entertaining game that went into overtime and that leads to another rant by me on why there is no such thing as a trap game in the NFL. The Steelers brought in five defensive backs for tryouts a few days ago, so we make sure to go over that list of players. We also go over the latest information concerning Steelers injured WR Calvin Austin III heading into the weekend. A few more Steelers' coaches talked to the media since our Wednesday episode, so Alex and I go over some key talking points to come out of those sessions. Alex and I discuss the job that Steelers offensive line coach Pat Meyer has done so far this season and if the team should have gone in a different direction when Arthur Smith was hired to be the offensive coordinator in 2024. On the heels of the fine game that Steelers DT Keeanu Benton played on Sunday against the Vikings, Alex and I have a length conversation about his style of play and what he excels at. The Steelers haven't run a ton of offensive plays through the first four games of the 2025 regular season, so Alex and I expand on that topic for a little while. With the Steelers now on their bye week, Alex and I go over several main takeaways we have concerning the team on both offense and defense. We discuss the key components to the Steelers being 3-1 at their bye. We also discuss the relatively low usage of the team's tight ends on offense so far through the first four regular season games. With it being Friday, Alex and I make our picks against the spreads for all of the remaining Week 5 games in the NFL using the lines offered by MyBookie.ag, one of our show sponsors. This 98-minute episode also discusses several other minor topics not noted, and we close things by answering a few emails that we recently received from listeners. steelersdepot.com Learn more about your ad choices. Around 5 p.m., Post-Gazette columnist Paul Zeise will go live to talk about the Steelers at the bye week. Has Aaron Rodgers fully developed chemistry with his Steelerss teammates, especially DK Metcalf? How far can he take this offense as he gets more comfortable playing in Arthur Smith's system? Hosted by Simplecast, an AdsWizz company. See pcm.adswizz.com for information about our collection and use of personal data for advertising.
Hour 2 with Donny Football: Ray doesn't expect the Steelers to add a wide receiver at this point. "They like Calvin Austin as a No. 2 receiver." Jakobi Meyers for a mid-round pick would make some sense, but Ray thinks adding another big mouth to feed is difficult for Arthur Smith. This is a must win game for Pitt against a down Boston College team. Eli Holstein earns a C+ or C- from Stephen's report.
On the Monday episode of the North Shore Drive podcast, presented by FanDuel and Edgar Snyder & Associates, host Adam Bittner welcomes Post-Gazette insider Ray Fittipaldo to react to the Steelers' NFL Week 4 victory against the Minnesota Vikings in Dublin, Ireland. Did coach Mike Tomlin's team establish its desired identity in stopping Jordan Mason and the Vikings running game; getting heave pressure on QB Carson Wentz with T.J. Watt, Nick Herbig, Keeanu Benton, Patrick Queen and others; and achieving success in the running game wit Kaleb Johnson and especially surprise starter Kenneth Gainwell, who filled in admirably for Jaylen Warren? Do we still need to see more from the passing game? Especially TEs Pat Freiermuth and Jonnu Smith after Aaron Rodgers and DK Metcalf seemed to get their connection going on Sunday? And how will this team navigate injuries in the secondary to names like Jalen Ramsey and Joey Porter Jr.? Our duo tackles those questions, plus storylines to watch during the upcoming off week. Where can coordinators Arthur Smith and Teryl Austin make the biggest adjustments? Will the Ravens continue their early struggles? Or will they start making up ground on the Steelers in the AFC North after a brutal early-season schedule? And are the Colts and Jaguars emerging as threats in the AFC? Hosted by Simplecast, an AdsWizz company. See pcm.adswizz.com for information about our collection and use of personal data for advertising.
Poni praises Tomlin and Arthur Smith along with the players for executing. The Bills are the only team in the AFC with a better record than the Steelers. Poni says that this means Tomlin is doing a good coaching job. Mullsy disagrees with this take.

September 26, 2025 - Season 16, Episode 29 of The Terrible Podcast is now in the can. In this Friday morning episode, Alex Kozora and I get right to talking about the Thursday night game between the Arizona Cardinals and the Seattle Seahawks and how the new dynamic kickoff rules played into the ending of it. We discuss whether we like the new kickoff rules so far this season. Alex and I move on to discuss the Steelers' injury report heading into Friday. We talk about Steelers CB Joey Porter Jr. and S DeShon Elliott trying to return this week from their respective injuries. We also discuss OLB Alex Highsmith not making the trip to Ireland because of his ankle injury. Will RB Trey Sermon once again be elevated from the practice squad on Saturday? Alex and I ponder that question early in this show as well. The Minnesota Vikings have a few key injuries this week that we are paying close attention to heading into Friday. They will be without their starting left guard this week as well. On Thursday, we heard from two of the Steelers' coordinators, Arthur Smith and Teryl Austin, so Alex and I recap the main talking points to come out of those media sessions. Alex and I welcome Ben Goessling of the Star Tribune back to the show, and he helps us get started with a preview of the Steelers-Vikings game. Goessling has covered the Vikings for many seasons, and nobody knows that team better than he does. We get his thoughts on several things related to Sunday's game at Croke Park in Dublin, Ireland, where he is currently stationed. At the end of our talk with Goessling, he gives us his score prediction for the Steelers-Vikings game. Welcome to Steelers Morning Rush, our new daily short-form podcast with Alan Saunders, giving a longer perspective on a single news topic surrounding the Pittsburgh Steelers or the National Football League. Today, it's the running scheme of offensive coordinator Arthur Smith. Smith has traditionally used a lot of wide zone runs, and he's done so again this year. Is that scheme a fit for the Pittsburgh offensive personnel, is it difficult to execute, and what might be some other options? Alan breaks it down. Learn more about your ad choices. Hour 4 with Donny Football: This is a great weekend in sports. On Saturday night, Marc-Andre Fleury makes his return! Jeff picked the Vikings to win in Ireland and thinks they have a great roster. Brian Flores is a great defensive mind and has a great scheme. The Steelers have a ton of respect for Flores and Arthur Smith has to be on his game.
Jeff picked the Vikings to win in Ireland and thinks they have a great roster. Brian Flores is a great defensive mind and has a great scheme. The Steelers have a ton of respect for Flores and Arthur Smith has to be on his game.
Smith's Sayings – What did Arthur Smith say to the media earlier today? KDKA's Bob Pompeani joined the show. Pomp is enjoying French martinis in Dublin a few days ahead of the Steelers-Vikings matchup. Bob congratulated Chris on his win in a major area golf event. Bob said he tuned in last night to see Paul Skenes finish his Cy Young season. Where will this game rank for the Rooney family if the Steelers win on Sunday? Bob backed up Jason's words and said he has seen plenty of Vikings fans in Dublin so far. Pomp labeled Carson Wentz as the X-factor in this game, but the Steelers win 19-17. Power Rankings – Sporting events this weekend.
Ben Roethlisberger said on his Footbahlin podcast that Jones is too upright and crushed Jones, saying James Harrison would have 15 sacks a game. The Steelers didn't allow a sack, but Arthur Smith's game plan was to get the ball out quick. Rodgers still took multiple shots. Ben thinks the Steelers should have never let Brian Flores go and should run the defense.
Hour 2 with Bob Pompeani and Joe Starkey: Ben Roethlisberger said on his Footbahlin podcast that Jones is too upright and crushed Jones, saying James Harrison would have 15 sacks a game. The Steelers didn't allow a sack, but Arthur Smith's game plan was to get the ball out quick. Big Ben wonders if the Steelers might get out-coached against the Vikings. Ben thinks highly of Vikings coaches Kevin O'Connell and Brian Flores!
This game somewhat felt like a loss. Aaron Rodgers wasn't sacked, but was constantly under pressure. Arthur Smith had some well designed plays on the pitch to Gainwell and the deep throw over the middle to Jonnu Smith. Joe thinks Aaron Rodgers has been what he expected. Aaron Rodgers is still an elite passer of the ball, when he has time to throw.
September 19, 2025 - Season 16, Episode 26 of The Terrible Podcast is now in the can. In this Friday morning episode, Alex Kozora and I get right to talking about the Pittsburgh Steelers as they prepare for their Week 3 road game against the New England Patriots. Alex and I start by discussing the Steelers and Patriots' injury reports. We talk about Steelers CB Joey Porter Jr. seemingly being doubtful for Sunday with his hamstring injury and how the status of rookie DT Derrick Harmon making his NFL debut against the Patriots seems questionable entering Friday. We also discuss the knee injury sustained this past week by backup OL Max Scharping and how he'll likely be headed to the Reserve/Injured list soon. Will the Steelers' new practice squad ILB Ja'Whaun Bentley be elevated on Saturday and then play against the Patriots on Sunday? We explain how that seems a little unlikely based on things that have been said this past week. The Patriots are looking to get CB Christian Gonzalez back from his hamstring injury this week so Alex and I discuss his status headed into Friday as well. On Thursday, we heard from two of the Steelers' coordinators, Arthur Smith and Teryl Austin, so Alex and I recap the main talking points to come out of those media sessions. We discuss Austin being fired up about his defense giving up a duplicate explosive passing play for a touchdown in consecutive weeks. We also go over communication comments made by Austin on Thursday and a few other minor things that Smith had to say to the media during his weekly session. The main one being that Steelers RB Jaylen Warren might get might touches on Sunday against the Patriots. Alex and I welcome Ben Volin of The Boston Globe back to the show, and he helps us get started with a preview of the Steelers' road game against the Patriots. Volin has covered the Patriots for several seasons, and nobody knows that team better than he does. We get his thoughts on new Patriots HC Mike Vrabel and second-year QB Drake Maye and many more things related to Sunday's game at Gillette Stadium. At the end of our talk with Volin, he gives us his score prediction for the game between the Steelers and the Patriots. If not already doing so, make sure to follow Ben on X/Twitter at @BenVolin and make sure to read his work here: https://www.bostonglobe.com/about/staff-list/staff/ben-volin/ After finishing with Volin, Alex and I provide our own preview of the game between the Steelers and the Patriots. Alex and I then give our picks against the spread for all of the Week 3 games in the NFL using the line provided by show sponsor MyBookie.ag. We also give our score predictions for Steelers-Patriots to end that segment. This 125-minute episode also discusses several other minor topics not noted, and we close things by answering a few emails that we recently received from listeners. steelersdepot.com Learn more about your ad choices. Smith's Sayings – What did Arthur Smith say to the media earlier today? Steve Palazzolo from the 33rd Team joined the show. Steve reacted to the horrid play from the Steelers defense in the first 2 weeks. Does Steve put more on the players or the coaching to a lot of their defensive issues? Steve doesn't think TJ Watt is having a bad season, but he needs to find a way to make an impact. Steve credited the opposing QBs the Steelers have faced and talked about why some of the defensive players haven't shined. How bad has it been for the inside linebackers? Steve likes a lot of what the Patriots added in the offseason and why their defensive front might make things difficult on Sunday. Is Drake Maye the best QB the Steelers will face so far? Steve said the 2026 QB class looks a lot worse than everyone expected. Donny Football Debrief – Patriots wearing an all-time throwback uniform on Sunday.
On the Wednesday edition of the North Shore Drive podcast, presented by Edgar Snyder & Associates, host Adam Bittner and Post-Gazette Steelers insider Christopher Carter analyze the team's struggling running game and what can be done to fix it. Is the lack of success holding back Arthur Smith's offense, even as its identity has shifted more toward Aaron Rodgers, DK Metcalf and the passing game? Are RBs Jaylen Warren and Kenneth Gainwell or offensive linemen including Broderick Jones, Troy Fautanu and others more at fault for the issues so far? Is there a role for rookie RB Kaleb Johnson that makes sense right now? And how much is Najee Harris being missed in the early going? Our duo tackles those questions, then pivots to defense. What issues is Christopher seeing on film? Is it a simple lack of execution from big names including Jalen Ramsey, Patrick Queen and Darius Slay Jr.? Or are there bigger problems at play? Is it a red flag that coach Mike Tomlin's defense was burned for touchdowns by the Jets' Garrett Wilson and the Seahawks' Tory Horton on virtually identical plays in back-to-back weeks? And how much of a concern should Ramsey's play be so far? Hosted by Simplecast, an AdsWizz company. See pcm.adswizz.com for information about our collection and use of personal data for advertising.
On the Tuesday episode of the North Shore Drive podcast, Post-Gazette sports columnist Jason Mackey and insider Ray Fittipaldo sort through blame for the Steelers' defensive struggles through the first two games of 2025. Are coach Mike Tomlin and position assistant Karl Dunbar most to blame for the defensive line's ineffectiveness, particularly against the run? Or do Cam Heyward, Keeanu Benton, Isaiahh Loudermilk and Yahya Black need to step up amid the injury to Derrick Harmon? Our duo tackles those questions and more defensive issues. Are defenses picking on Jalen Ramsey? And should fans be worried about T.J. Watt's lack of stats? The guys also ponder some offensive topics. Are Broderick Jones and Troy Fautanu in an early-season slump? Or are the experiencing something worse? What should Tomlin do with Kaleb Johnson after his enormous kickoff gaffe? And does Arthur Smith's distribution of carries for Kenneth Gainwell and Jaylen Warren make any sense? Hosted by Simplecast, an AdsWizz company. Arthur's Answers – What did Arthur Smith say to the Steelers media earlier today? Steelers insider Ray Fittipaldo from the PG joined the show. Ray isn't sure we see a lot of Jabrill Peppers on Sunday since he will only be with the team for a few days. Ray said there is not a ton of panic inside the building about Broderick Jones through the first game of 2025, but Ray has his own concerns. Ray had his own way of demonstrating how bad the Steelers defense has been against the run over the last few years. The guys asked Ray about the offensive breakdown and how much we see of the 3 tight ends on Sunday. How much faith do the Steelers have in Roman Wilson? Ray thinks the Steelers would let Chris Boswell try a 63-yard FG if the game was on the line. Ray likes the Steelers on Sunday and said DK Metcalf will have a revenge game. Judge Donny.
Live around 5 p.m. Eastern, Post-Gazette sports columnist Paul Zeise analyzes the Steelers' offense following the NFL Week 1 victory against the New York Jets. How much potential does OC Arthur Smith's unit have after scoring 34 points in its debut? How high can new faces like Aaron Rodgers, Jonnu Smith and DK Metcalf lift the group's ceiling? Can Broderick Jones, Troy Fautanu and the offensive line get on the same player as the skill position players? And what are reasonable expectations for the running game led by Jaylen Warren, Kenneth Gainwell and Kaleb Johnson? Paul tackles those questions, plus the reported signing of safety Jabril Peppers amid an injury to safety DeShon Elliott. (46) Post-Gazette Sports (@PGSportsNow) / X
Doug feels really good about Arthur Smith. The offensive line and defensive lines were the two most glaring weaknesses. Doug doesn't think the Steelers were tough to play against Sunday.
Arthur Smith called a very good game on Sunday against the Jets. Smith schemed guys open. Aaron Rodgers elevated the offense. Doug thinks Rodgers will be the one to decide who's wide receiver No. 2 during games and who makes plays.
Hour 4 with Dorin Dickerson, Adam Crowley, and Doug Whaley: The offensive line and defensive lines were the two most glaring weaknesses for the Steelers. Doug is giving Jones until after the Vikings game to see if he can still start on this team. Arthur Smith called a very good game on Sunday against the Jets. Dorin would call Christian Wilkins and see if they can add him to the defensive line.
Hour 1 with Dorin Dickerson and Adam Crowley: Mike Tomlin said he is not worried about Broderick Jones losing confidence. Dorin thinks Darnell Washington is now going to be used as an extra blocker to help Jones. Pierre LeBrun spoke to Sidney Crosby's agent Pat Brisson, who said it's always been a possibility that Crosby could play for another team. His agent said it's going to come down to if Sid wants to win and move on if the Penguins aren't good.
Hour 4 with Donny Football: Brian Batko thinks that's the best game Arthur Smith called as Steelers OC. Brian's expectations have somewhat improved based on Aaron Rodgers, but he is worried about how Rodgers escapes the line. Someone at the Steelers told Brian they think Keeanu Benton's breakout is this year. Michael McKenry thinks Paul Skenes will run away with the Cy Young Award and has already made a mark on this team that will never be forgotten.
Jabrill Peppers comes from New England where he was oddly cut and some Patriots beat writers wondered if New England was going younger and Peppers did not like his new role on the team. Brian thinks that's the best game Arthur Smith called as Steelers OC. Brian's expectations have somewhat improved based on Aaron Rodgers, but he is worried about Rodgers escaping and the line.
Post-Gazette insiders Gerry Dulac and Ray Fittipaldo react to the Steelers' NFL Week 1 victory against the New York Jets at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, N.J. What should we make of Aaron Rodgers' prolific first outing within Arthur Smith's offense, throwing four touchdowns and proving chemistry with receivers including DK Metcalf, Calvin Austin III and Jonnu Smith? And why was Justin Fields able to have so much success against his former team? Moving the ball alongside running back Breece Hall against a Steelers defense that includes huge names like T.J. Watt, Cam Heyward, Jalen Ramsey, Joey Porter Jr. and Patrick Queen? Our duo tackles those questions and more.

We talk about how important the Friday injury report will be for Herbig as we then go through the rest of the Week 1 injury report heading into Friday's practice.
