Between Shar Pourdanesh's NFL career and Kourosh Safavi's tenure as a sports journalist, the two have nearly 20 years of combined experience around the game of football. As Iranian-Americans, Kourosh and Shar offer a perspective that blends their love for the greatest game on earth with their cross-cultural upbringing. Through game analysis, debate and exclusive features, the Axis of Football aims to satisfy all avid NFL fans, while telling the incredible stories of Iranian-American athletes.
