“I’m a modern psychotherapist and registered yoga teacher who’s treatment approach is holistic in nature — meaning I work collaboratively with clients to integrate body, mind, and nervous system to foster healing. My compassionate but direct approach allows me to work with a variety of clients, but I specializes in working with adults and young adults struggling with what they may identify as depression, anxiety, panic attack symptoms, feeling “stuck”, self-worth issues, life adjustment, and trauma survivors. In my free time, you can find me teaching yin yoga, spending quality time outside by the water, traveling, reading, or re-defining what it means to be a cool cat lady.”To learn more about Melissa and the great work she does, please click here. “In my early 20s I won an award with the Associated Collegiate Press (ACP) for a feature story I wrote on divorce in the evangelical community that highlighted the story of a woman's experience with divorce while parenting teenage triplets. That emotional two-hour interview with my interview confirmed that I wanted to be an active healer rather than a by-standing reporter, and I signed up to be a residential counselor in a group home for teen girls grappling with addiction and gang involvement. I believe that my own personal experience with childhood trauma gave me both the grit and the depth to create the space needed for such intensive healing, and it's from my own healing and authenticity that I continue to practice. These days my passion is working with other healers and supporting adults who want healthier relationships -- whether they are in one, recently out of one, or desperately pining for one -- which almost always begins with relationship to the self first. “To learn more about Karin and the great work she does, please click here. “I've been in practice for 10 years, from London, to Lebanon, then Dubai, New York, and now Orange County. I love that there is always something new to learn - I've recently started practicing Equine-Assisted Psychotherapy and am continuously fascinated by how powerful working with animals can be. I find great joy when clients experience a deeper connection with themselves and their partners. I enjoy going hiking and climbing with my husband and dog, and love weightlifting and aerial silks/hoop, and am a huge foodie :)”To learn more about Maha and the great work she does, please click here. “Hi- I’m Mallory and I’m a real licensed mental health therapist with a practice in Woodbridge, CT. The teens I work with come to me because they’re struggling with perfectionism, overwhelm and loneliness. I love getting to bring them together in Teen Girl Therapy Groups because I know how important it is to be connected and know you are not alone! When I’m not in counseling sessions or making mental health videos (insert shameless plug to go subscribe to my YouTube channel hehe), you can usually find me popping in to pick up my Starbucks mobile order, walking my pup, or binging on the latest Netflix show my teens tell me I just “have to” watch. “To learn more about Mallory and the great work she does, please click hereSocial Media: Insta @mallorygrimste | Facebook

“ Being a therapist is a second career for me. My first career was in the sporting goods business selling, as the adage goes in the business, socks and jocks. After reaching the age of 40, I finally decided it would be a good time for me to grow up. All I wanted to be after choosing to grow up was to be a therapist. Voila! My other great accomplishment is on-going and that is being a father who, I think, my kids enjoy having in their lives now that they’ve reached adulthood. I’ve been divorced and remarried after 15 years of single-hood to my current wife Sandy who is also a therapist and my business partner. ”To learn more about Paul and the great work he does, please click here. “I opened Creative Healing so that teens would have a safe space that was made just for them... A place for them to come home to, to take off the mask, to know that they are not alone. Ultimately, my passion and purpose is for your teen to know they they aren't weird, bad, wrong or different for feeling the way that they do and there's a place where they are fully accepted for exactly who they are. And, that you can totally love and accept yourself while also gaining the support and skills to make lasting positive changes in your life. I am intensively trained and certified in Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) and do my best work with teens who are experiencing depression, suicidal thoughts and self-harming behaviors who move through life with a belief that they are just not good enough. My passion is in empowering teens to make effective choices and to believe that they are so so worthy of love. We work together to develop a personalized coping plan to help them manage overwhelming emotions and create a life filled with connection and meaning. When I'm not working, I'm hanging at home with my family and my Boston Terrier Penny doing yoga, watching Marvel movies and Sci-Fi shows on Netflix and journaling... like, a lot of journaling.”To learn more about Katie and the great work she does, please click here.
“I became a counselor because I felt like no one understood what I was going through and like no one could ever help me feel better. I felt broken and lost in my world and alone in my thoughts. As a counselor, I want to make sure you feel like you have someone walking along with you in your journey and help you feel better in order to take back your life again. I help you move through the process of therapy using such tools as mindfulness (being in the present moment and sitting with your thoughts and emotions) and self-compassion (talking and treating yourself like you would with a good friend). Together we will identify thought patterns and learn to change those thoughts into positive thoughts and make sense of them. I often use a creative approach to therapy and try to make it fun. It is my job for you find your inner peace and learn to embrace your life.I understand where you have been because I've been there myself. I know how hard it is to overcome your fears, loneliness, and feelings of despair. I've dedicated my life to helping people like yourself going through similar situations. Hang in there and know that you're in good hands!” - Julia AyraudTo learn more about Julia and the great work she does, please click here.

“My passion is to help both couples and individuals. I understand your pain, and I understand that in seeking out a counselor it is quite possible you have not shared any of your pain with anyone else before. This can make opening up to a stranger, such as my self, difficult, but rest assured that I am patient, compassionate, and come from a place of non-judgment. I understand what it is like to not want to get out of bed in the morning because you are so depressed, or that you can’t function at work because you are too worried about all the other things and/or people in your life to be able to focus on work. I also know what it’s like, to have one foot out of the door with your relationship because you’re fighting all of the time with your partner, and you want the chaos to stop, but neither of you know how to get there. I know what struggling to just keep your head above water is like, and that is why I was called into this profession.” - Brittainy WagnerTo learn more about Brittainy and the great work she does, please click here.

Therapy is your place to reflect on the beliefs and behaviors that keep you from being the best version of yourself. This is your time to surrender the fears, the pain and begin to heal.” - Rachel ColemanTo learn more about Rachel and the great work she does, please click here.

Sarah Gilbert is an LCSW and helps motivated, resilient people explore their gender identities and feel confident in uniquely expressing their true selves to the world, so they can move from a life of “shoulds” to a life of self-love. “I believe that when people live in their true identities, they come alive and inspire others to do the same. Because of that, I’ve created Transitions Therapy LLC from a mission to help people to uncover and author their identities, in an inviting and affirming environment.Let’s face it; the thought of therapy can be scary. Maybe you’re feeling certain that it is. Thoughts and feelings have been running through your mind that seem too difficult to share with people in your personal life. You’re struggling to understand an inner experience that’s vastly different from what others know or expect of you, and you’re hoping that talking to a complete stranger will help you sort it out.” - Sarah GilbertTo learn more about Sarah and the great work she does, please click here.
