Finding a place & moving in with your loved one isn't always easy...but take it from host, Cameron & her boyfriend & today's guest, Dylan Canepa, when they say you can make it happen more smoothly with a few simple steps. It can be expected that when 2 individuals move in together that there will be many opinions on the way something should look and feel. In this episode Cameron & Dylan reflect on their experience moving in together over the last few months and how communication was key during the process. They discuss the importance in understanding priorities within a space and what they will be used for as well as those non-negotiables when looking for a home. Let me repeat that - Non-Negotiables, those deal breakers that help you choose a space that best fits the both of you. Successfully finding a balance between the masculinity and femininity within your home can be difficult, so for us having conversations about color palettes, styles, and the things we disliked most were important in order to make the design process a breeze. Please support Beyond The Basics by subscribing & rating the podcast wherever you choose to listen and following @_beyondthebasics on Instagram to stay up to date with upcoming episodes!
