Psalms 23:1-6 (ESV) is the key scripture and we have an opportunity to look at it in a new way while we are learning about how to be Flexible Disciples. Flexibility varies between individuals, particularly in terms of differences in the muscle length of multi-joint muscles. However, flexibility in some joints can be increased to a certain degree by regular exercise. Observation #1 Elasticity is when you can cause your faith to expand to match God's ability in your life. Point #1 Ps. 23:1 Elasticity shifts the narrative to what you don't have to who you do have. Point #2 Ps. 23:2 Elasticity graces you to find peace in the provision of the great shepherd. Point #3 Ps. 23:3 Elasticity creates an opportunity for you to recover from the exhaustion of life. Point #4 Ps. 23:4 Elasticity creates a capacity for you to persevere with confidence through valleys of uncertainty despite the threat of death. In order to be able to adjust in life you often need to consider that you must be willing to be flexible to function in seasons that require your adaptation. Your bending will not break you, your bending is only meant to re-shape you. Not only is there a natural ability to adapt to the changing seasons but there is also the gift of flexibility the Lord has graced you with to help you to bend without breaking. Proverbs 18:24 A man of many companions may come to ruin but there is a friend that sticks closer than a brother. Scripture reading by Bro. True repentance can and will be painful and cause hurt - because you are letting go of familiar and comfortable behaviors. 1.Godly sorrow produces repentance without regret - meaning there isn't a looking back at my old behaviors and desiring them again. It a permanent ongoing progressive change of behavior and turning towards God. 2. True repentance is looking back and knowing that godly sorrow has produced a change in you. 3. Embrace that person who has fallen. Show them that they can get up again and you will be right there with them. Our hope is that this word has encouraged you. A very important step of achieving our purpose is uncovering the process. The process is necessary. The quickest way to change your action is to change your heart posture Purpose in your heart. What have you purposed in your heart? Gods will or your desire...

Honor To guard with great respect Pastor DeMarcus challenges us to honor our purpose. Here are a few major things to ponder on to help steer you in the direction of honor. 1. IDENTITY Do you know who you are and whose you are? When you can answer that question clarity happens. 2. IMPACT What impact do I have? How is your life and how you choose to live shaping and shifting the world around you. 3. INHERITANCE Our Heavenly Father has great things in store for us. When we choose to chase righteousness we tap into what God has for us not just here on Earth but in Eternity.
