Safety Tyrann Mathieu signed a three-year deal with the New Orleans Saints and now, the Saints have a versatile and unpredictable defense to help them contend in 2022. Mathieu's fit with the Saints brings intangibles like leadership and experience along with versatility and multi-phase defensive plays. D'Marco Jackson and Jordan Jackson have a legitimate shot to see snaps this season. Both on special teams and even on defense as rotational and important depth pieces. Unless the Saints bring back linebacker Kwon Alexander, D'Marco Jackson has a clear path to the 53-man roster much like Chris Olave, Trevor Penning, and Alontae Taylor. The Saints sign 17 undrafted free agents, a large group that spanned from wide receiver to specialists like punter and kicker. Like most UDFAs, there are three on the Saints' list that who's special teams acumen could land them a roster spot. Smoke Monday has already endeared himself to the Saints fanbase, and he'll get some chances in camp to convince the Saints coaching staff. Locked On Blazers – Daily Podcast On The Portland Trail Blazers
The Trail Blazers are spectators for this year's playoffs but the teams left in the postseason offer some useful lessons for what it takes to be successful this time of year. Versatility is key and in Memphis and Dallas that trait has been on full display with scheme versatility from the Mavericks defense and lineup versatility from the Grizzlies in a bounce Game 2 blowout. Weaknesses get exposed in the playoffs and that has been readily apparent with the Utah Jazz's perimeter defense, the Denver Nuggets' lack of depth and Raptors' complete absence of centers. The things you don't do well become the things you are constantly asked to do this time of year. And finally the playoffs are about breakout stars having their moment on a bigger stage. Golden State's Jordan Poole and Philadelphia Tyrese Maxey look like the early breakout stars from these playoffs. Can Anferenee Simons be next this time next year? An aspect that I love about my Light Language craft is its Versatility to create energy medicines. This particular transmission is very technical and it is precise in reseting the divine blueprint of the Amygdala Brain. "The amygdala is responsible for processing strong emotions, such as fear, pleasure, or anger." The Gene Key that corresponds to this part of our physiology is The 13th, with the Fear band flavoured as Discord, Service to self and others nuanced as Discernment and the one of a kind Divine Frequency Flavour of Empathy. I have many heart friends that have the 13 theme in their genes and I see the emotional struggle, and the effects of emotions created over and over from a wounded perception. One of my higher purposes is to use the technology of Light Language to help people restart on different levels of their being. I am excited on producing themed healing audio collections available for purchase. Feel free to share with me any your feedbacks. Has this transmission or others brought you betterment? Justin Stoney is the Founder of New York Vocal Coaching, developer of the NYVC Voice Teacher Training Program, and author of the award-winning book Sing Like Never Before. His clients have included Emmy, Grammy, Oscar, and Tony Award-winning artists, and now he joins Alexa on this week's Singing Teachers Talk. Find out about his incredible story of finding his way into teaching and get some great tips on creating content. KEY TAKEAWAYS Justin had only just got to New York and was about to go into an audition when he was asked to play piano for another audition. He ended up playing accompaniment for one of the best casting directors on Broadway who told him he had what it takes to be a great singing teacher. We all learn in different ways, it's about finding out what works best for each individual. Some people learn by playing games and others learn by learning the science and the technical theories. Justin alters his method for each person and works with them to find their own path to learning. He doesn't expect everyone to practice all day, people have their own lives and his vocal studio is a safe space for them to come and sing, not feel guilty. If an hour's practice at home is too much, then spend 10 minutes practising your favourite song whenever you can fit it in. Voice Lessons to the World started on YouTube as a way for Justin to give back to the vocal community and those who might not be able to access the resources he had. He found a lot of online content was sometimes misleading and wanted to combat this. Justin doesn't see his success in his vocal coaching as a result of his YouTube channel, in fact it's the other way around, his success allowed him to give back with the free online lessons. BEST MOMENTS ‘When one of the greatest casting directors in New York City tells you have what it takes to be a great vocal coach, you listen' ‘The best teachers are just the best students' ‘I went into the arts to inspire and to give, with teaching that always happens' ‘I just can't wait for the next lesson where we see this persons next link' EPISODE RESOURCES BAST Training Guest Website: NewYorkVocalCoaching.com VoiceTeacherTraining.com VoiceLessonsToTheWorld.com SingLikeNeverBefore.com Social Media: @newyorkvocalcoaching Relevant Links & Mentions: Barry Moss (Casting Director) Justin's Mentors: David Jones; Aaron Hagan Your Voice, an Inside View by Scott Mccoy Johan Sundberg Dr Ingo Titze Youtube (including Voice Lessons to the World & the David Phelps Series): https://www.youtube.com/user/NewYorkVocalCoaching David Phelps ABOUT THE GUEST Justin Stoney is the Founder of New York Vocal Coaching, developer of the NYVC Voice Teacher Training Program, and author of the award-winning book Sing Like Never Before.
