Ho ho hoe, here's the Slut Holiday Special. Funny enough it was one of the most listened to episodes of 2024. Enjoy you filthy animals. I'll be back in a few weeks with a new episode featuring GG Sauvage and exciting updates!! Thank you for all the support and love. xo-- Kaitlin
Brittany Leigh is a tarot reader and seer, model, and has been working for Playboy for over a decade. She joins us today to discuss reclaiming her Indigenous identity, why she moved to Los Angeles in her 20s, and how she ended up working at Playboy. Then we dive into the abuse cases surrounding Marilyn Manson and her connection to them.
Meghan Sapphire joins us today to talk about her hoe-volution. She's been in the radio business for 15 years and you may have heard her reporting traffic or the weather. But you sluts most likely know her from her podcast, Sapphire's Earplay. We begin the conversation by talking about the prostitute archetype which is coined by Carol Myss and share some of our insane dating stories. Meghan then shares what happened when she finally met a man who matched her freak, how she went from being a pro hoe to a selective hoe, why she thinks people are scared of sluts, and what it was like editing porn. We finish the conversation talking about why some women slut shame more then men and what we hope for our future slutty selves.
Stasia Patwell is a fitness instructor, personal trainer, comedian and the creator of School of THOT, which is an online accountability and fitness program for women. She moved to Greece last year but was back in Venice Beach in January for a few weeks. So, as any sane person would, I emailed Stasia and offered to “fit model” for one of her classes. I worked out live, on video (a complete nightmare for me) and after we taped this episode. It resulted in a hilarious slightly deranged yet inspiring conversation. We begin the conversation off by discussing our similarities— we're both Irish Italian and went to an all-girls school growing up (4:30). We talk about why she moved to Greece and what she loves about living there (8:11) then why she came back into town for a few weeks (12:23). After we dive into what happened she first moved to Venice after college (14:22), becoming a well-known alcoholic in the area (18:55), and how she got sober (28:47). She tells us how she began teaching fitness and reflects on her show at the Comedy Store called Ride or Die (37:05). To finish off, she explains how she started the School of THOT, what the group program is, the importance of manifestation, and how she doesn't regret a single thing.
I went to Pride in West Hollywood to ask some people their sluttiest stories. Here's what happened…
Slut in the City! This episode was recorded at Slickback Studios when I was in New York last month and in it, I discuss the latest breakthrough in HIV research, then read the Washington Post exposé on birth control misinformation. I compare what we learn through the article to my experience with birth control, getting off it, and my abortion. After, I discuss the life of Countess Elizabeth Bathory— who was a sadomasochist in Hungary during the 1600s. It's estimated she murdered 80 to 650 women in the pursuit of her kinks. ✨✨✨✨✨✨ Get Abortion Pills through aidaccess.org Huge thank you to Mike Coscarelli for having me at Slickback Studios in Brooklyn.
This is part two of my conversation with Michelle Tea. If you have not listened to the first part, go back to the previous episode. We talk about how she got knocked up, why getting divorced made parenthood better, and how she came up with the idea for drag queen story hour. To finish us off, Michelle reads an exert from How Not To Be A Queer Douchebag in her novel Against.
Michelle Tea is a slutty queer icon and the author of over twenty books. Today she joins us to celebrate the release of Sluts, an anthology she edited and it's the first release under her new publishing organization, Dopamine Press. We begin the conversation by diving into what it means to be a slut in our culture today, how the word has been used against us, and how we've come to reclaim it. Then we discuss her childhood and what pushed her to leave her hometown at 21 and move in with her then-girlfriend. After that, we discuss her sex work, addiction, the mental illness that is writing memoir, and how she got sober. This is part 1 of our conversation, part 2 will come out on May 7— the same release day of Sluts.
Gaby Herstik is a sex witch and she joins us today to discuss her latest novel, Goddess Energy. We start the conversation by defining Goddess Energy and how everyone, no matter their gender, can connect to and use it to benefit their lives. She teaches us how to do sex magick and some of the best practices. After that, we talk about the dominant monogamous culture and how we've both fallen outside of it. Then we discuss sex work, healing shame, growing up in the bible belt as Jewish, and how her Grandmother, Rose, remains present in her work today.
It's Valentine's Day and I couldn't think of anything more romantic to talk about than polyamory. Recently, it's been having a cultural moment and in this episode, I question if open relationships create an illusion of freedom. To help answer that question I read the latest in poly “feminist” discourse, Molly Roden Winter's novel, More: A Memoir of Open Marriage. I compare her relationship to Simone De Beauvoir and Jean-Paul Satre's and read an excerpt from The Woman Destroyed. After that, we investigate what primal panic is and how it's activated in non-monogamous relationships by reading Polysecure by Jessica Fern. References & Mentions in the Show: Polysecure, Jessica Fern Polyamory, The Ruling Class's Latest Fad by Austin Tyler Harper The Woman Destroyed, Simone De Beauvoir More: A Memoir of Open Marriage, Molly Roden Winter
Sluts, this is the first-ever solo episode. In it, we cover the 2024 AVN Awards, Jo Koy at the Golden Globes and Chelsea Handler at the Critics Choice Awards, and then the Taylor Swift deepfakes. After that, we dive into the life and death of June Mack. If there's a topic you want me to cover in the next solo episode on February 14th, email slutpodcast@gmail.com. I can also answer questions on sexuality or any advice then as well.
Today on Slut— Brooke Bundy. Brooke just released her pilot, Almost Already Famous, which she wrote, directed, and starred in. The show is about Agnes, a failed actress turned stripper, and the daughter of a famous Hollywood actress. Living in her shadow, Agnes must figure out how to achieve her own fame. We discuss how she came up with the idea and her character's fatal flaw. Then we dive into how she started making short films and why she is so attracted to filmmaking. Brooke talks about her experience landing a role in The Hunger Games and Mockingjay to follow and how it was hard for her to rebound from that. After that role, she hosted a monthly comedy show in New York called The Witching Hour— and it was here where Brooke began examining her femininity. Not too long after, she moved to Los Angeles to start LA Kings with Tina Stormberg, a psycho slutty performance art show. We discuss how she evolved from being a tomboy to embracing hyper-femininity in her work today at Jumbos Clown Room. To finish, Brooke reads a favourite quote from Norman Mahler on Marilyn Monroe.

The Goddess Cori is a non-binary performance artist and sex worker. When I spoke with them in July, they recently entered semi-retirement after being in the industry for eight years. . With their clients, Cori performs reparations play; an approach they developed after speaking with other sex workers who do similar work. In these play sessions Cori seeks justice as a Black American by doing sadistic acts to their clients, and of course – taking money from them. To understand how Cori got to this moment, we reflect on their first experiences with kink and entry to porn. Then we discuss how sex work – like all forms of labour – can lose its luster after a while, why they were nervous to attend pride events over the summer, and what they envision for their future. Dating is hard. Online dating is hard. Online dating during a pandemic in lockdown is especially hard. There are all these weird digital interactions we experience that often go untold. And I thought, why don't I take this hellscape and turn into it a 5-minute audio drama? It may be short, but I promise my neurotic self spent a ridiculous amount of time creating this insanity. In this episode, I'm joined by a past professor of mine, Dr. Chris Frazer. Chris specializes in History and Latin American Studies, but they're also a queer, trans, non-binary, communist drag queen. In our conversation, Chris reflects on their sexuality, now being in their sixties. Struggling with queerness in youth, they left their hometown to find groups who accepted; communists and feminists. While leading the Canadian Communist Party, Chris's partner became pregnant. They discuss how queerness and drag influence their parenting, how their queerness has evolved with age, and why being slutty is a weapon to the patriarchy.
