Jacob tells us about the original Greek words and what they meant, how the writers of the New Testament meant for them to play out in the church, and how the system the church eventually built up around clergy may be harmful to the spiritual development of God's people. CORRECTIONS: In this episode, we mistakenly claimed that Jacob is a retired pastor. First, Jacob is not a pastor; he is a Reader, which is not the same thing (click here to learn what a Reader in the Anglican Church is).
