LISTEN IN FULL: https://tinyurl.com/3bv5288n After the worst week so far at Hill Dickinson Stadium, Matt is joined by Adam and Foxy to assess the damage. What approach to Everton take in the transfer window after being dumped out of the FA Cup? And what will that mean for Barry and Beto? The fourth-kit fiasco is also slammed - well, at least by two of us - and we moan about VAR after the latest shambles in the League Cup.

With Paddy still absent - last spotted in a Noosa drinking spot - Matt is joined by the Liverpool Echo's Everton correspondent Joe Thomas this week. We assess where the defeat to Sunderland leaves the team. Keep powder dry for the summer? Or chips in in the transfer market in the race for a European place? The new fourth kit is also on the agenda. Should Everton play in anything other than royal blue at home? What could have been a memorable week of football that saw Everton move up the table and progress in the FA Cup has turned out to be a disaster. On the pitch, the team looks devoid of ideas and players lack confidence, and the manager is once again dampening expectations. Off the pitch, some fans are struggling to adapt to the new surroundings, and the club released a navy and pink that will only be synonymous with another early FA Cup exit. The timing of the (let's face it, needless) fourth kit couldn't have been worse, given comments from Tom Beahon, co-founder of Castore, who last week said: "We live in a capitalist society [not entirely true], if people couldn't afford it, those prices wouldn't be charged." Les and Dave go in on all that and those horrific penalties. We'd love to know your thoughts on it all. Learn more about your ad choices. Visit podcastchoices.com/adchoices

The Everton rollercoaster continues! Giulia Bould joins Matt on the podcast this week with Paddy in Australia. Unfortunately they have a challenging afternoon to reflect on. What went so wrong against Brentford in the 4-2 defeat? And why have Everton already suffered three heavy defeats at Hill Dickinson Stadium against mid table teams? We also look at the transfer window. What are Everton expecting? What do they need? And how do you cover them?

Les and Dave pick through another woeful home defeat for Everton. Once again, Moyes has needlessly changed a winning team, and it's seen Everton slump to a third heavy defeat at home to mid-table opposition. Is it down to the manager? Should he be doing better against teams around Everton, even with limited resources? And can he put it right ahead of a huge week of league and cup games? Learn more about your ad choices. After a brief chat about Burnley and the latest Everton penalty controversy, Matt and Paddy take stock after a busy year and ahead of a busy month. How active will Everton be in January? How active should they be in January? And how much progress has the club made over the last 12 months?

Laura and Connor share their thoughts from Turf Moor after a 0-0 draw with Burnley, before Matt and Dave delve into what went wrong. Why is the attack stalling at the moment? And why weren't the Blues awarded a penalty for handball?

Matt and Paddy look at the future of Dwight McNeil after his return to the starting XI on Saturday night. There are reports that Sean Dyche is keen to sign the out-of-favour winger, but can Everton afford to let him or go? Or is there no way they can turn down a decent offer? Harrison Armstrong's future could be impacted by any approach. David Moyes seems to be softening in his stance on a potential recall in January. We start the show with an anniversary though. It's been a year since the Friedkin Group took full control of the Blues. What has gone well and what could be better from their first year?

Matt and Dave take a look back at the 1-0 loss to Arsenal at Hill Dickinson Stadium. Why were the Blues so poor in attack? Should Everton have had a penalty after Saliba's foul on Barry? Should Dibling start at Burnley?

Ending three hexes in three weeks wasn't doable for Everton. Stamford Bridge remains the least happiest of all their Premier League hunting grounds. Matt and Paddy assess some of the collateral damage from that defeat. Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall and Jack Grealish have picked up injuries at the worst possible time for the Toffees, with Iliman Ndiaye and Idrissa Gueye now off to Africa Cup of the Nations. We take a closer look at Tyler Dibling's peculiar situation ahead of what will be a big month for him and look at James Garner's contract situation after he and Moyes played down rumours an agreement was imminent. It was back down to earth with a bump for the Toffees in a very familiar feeling defeat at Chelsea, where Everton rolled out all the hits – played really well in spells, just lacked a cutting edge, conceded against the run of play, the lot. Are we expecting too much from Everton? Where did it go wrong against Chelsea? And how do the Toffees line up against Arsenal, given the lack of midfield options?

LISTEN IN FULL: https://tinyurl.com/yatahd8m We continue to rejoice in Everton's fine recent form. Matt and Mick look at the main factors in the four wins from five games - Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall has plenty to do with it - and look at how the team could change for the trip to Chelsea.

Er, so about last week. We take it all back. Seven days on from fretting about Everton's festive fixtures, Matt and Paddy are back to reflect on two wins, two clean sheets and a team on the charge towards European places.
