Host Feargal Brennan is joined by Squawka's chief football writer Muhammad Butt and West Ham correspondent for Football London Tom Clark, to assess the Hammers chances of crashing the Champions League party this season. David Moyes has looked to build on the Hammers sixth place finish in 2020/21 with an impressive start to the current campaign placing West Ham at third in the table ahead of the international break. The team dive into the key factors behind West Ham's excellent start to the season and Moyes' thinking on tactical stability in recent months. Declan Rice's development, alongside the goal scoring exploits of Michail Antonio, are examined as part of West Ham's push to secure a first ever Champions League place in 2022.

Ben Haines is joined by The Telegraph's Luke Edwards, England's all-time most capped player Fara Williams and former Celtic and Wigan defender Gary Caldwell to discuss the big talking points from Sunday's Premier League action. West Ham are up to third after ending Liverpool's 25-game unbeaten run with a 3-2 win at the London Stadium. It's David Moyes's first ever Premier League win over Liverpool as a manager and he tells us how proud he is to have turned West Ham's fortunes around. The guys discuss how Moyes has transformed the club, the impact Declan Rice and Jarrod Bowen have had this season, and how they'll cope with raised expectations after such a massive win. Jurgen Klopp vents his frustrations at some of the refereeing decisions in a prickly interview with Rob Nothman. Does Klopp have a point or is he just making sure the headlines aren't about an underwhelming Liverpool performance? There's been yet another sacking as Aston Villa parted ways with Dean Smith after losing five Premier League matches in a row. Smith won promotion and kept Villa in the top flight in his three years so was this a harsh decision? Dan Bardell from The Villa View podcast tells us how the fans feel about Smith's departure, why the club have struggled to reach the standards they set last season after losing Jack Grealish and what he thinks about some of the names linked to the job. Antonio Conte's first league game in charge of Tottenham was a bit of an anti-climax as Spurs failed to have a single shot on target in a goalless draw with Everton at Goodison Park. What will he have made of their performance and how will the wing-back system work with the players at his disposal? In the red half of North London, Arsenal are now unbeaten in eight league matches after a 1-0 win over Watford. The guys believe Arteta deserves plenty of credit, as do the Arsenal board for their patience, but admit the match away at Liverpool after the international break will be the real benchmark for what level they're really at. Dave Prentice and Gavin Buckland join Sam Carroll for your Friday edition of the Royal Blue podcast to look ahead to Sunday's visit of West Ham United to L4. The match will mark the return of David Moyes, along with Kurt Zouma and Nikola Vlasic, to Everton. It's now more than nine years since Moyes left the Blues for Manchester United. His derisory bids for Marouane Fellaini and Leighton Baines after he moved to United soured his relationship with Evertonians. But, with time proving just what a good job he did at Goodison Park, has that frostiness cooled? Equally, are Blues taking Rafa Benitez, who used to go up against Moyes when he was in charge of Liverpool, closer to their hearts? Both questions are discussed by Sam, Gav and Prenno, who held an exclusive interview with Benitez for the Liverpool ECHO this week, which you can read by clicking the links below. And with Richarlison and Dominic Calvert-Lewin still sidelined, the panel also ask whether Sunday is the perfect time for Salomon Rondon to kick start his Everton career. In one of the most dramatic and heartbreaking ends to a football match in living memory, David Moyes' decision to sub on Mark Noble to take a last minute penalty against Man Utd backfired in dramatic fashion on Sunday. The Hammers legend hadn't warmed up and was thrust into the action at London Stadium to try and make it 2-2 after ex-West Ham man Jesse Lingard had oh-so predictably broke Hammers hearts - coming off the bench to complete the Red Devils' comeback after Said Benrahma and Cristiano Ronaldo had scored in the first-half. Will Pugh, James Jones and Reece Bayliss discuss the rollercoaster ride and also cover the Irons' historic win at Dinamo Zagreb in their first ever Europa League group game on Thursday. The lads also make their Betway charity bets with some money landing after the Man Utd defeat. Moyes' men have the opportunity for immediate revenge as they travel to Old Trafford in the Carabao Cup on Wednesday. Today is a heavily Ulster-inflected pod, with Cookstown's Stuart Dallas galloping through and Carnlough's Brendan Rodgers letting us in on some of the many - not secrets, exactly... let's say "principles" - of his (and John Terry's) success. Dion Fanning and John Brewin join us to talk through the weekend's football. Moyes triumphant, Ole's critics silenced, and a verdict on whether anyone really wants Harry Kane.
