Some mornings you wake up expecting a normal daily comedy show. This... was not one of those mornings.TJ Miller sends the crew a surprise delivery of gourmet peanut butter before stopping by later, and suddenly everyone becomes an expert food critic. Cherry chocolate? Chocolate coconut? Toffee crunch? There are passionate opinions, questionable life choices, and at least one person ready to smear it on absolutely everything.Meanwhile, Lern officially reaches the finish line of an entire month without alcohol, and the crew wastes absolutely zero time asking the important questions. Does she feel different? Is she immediately celebrating? What exactly is the first airport drink after a month of sobriety? The answers lead to a surprisingly honest—and hilarious—conversation about habits, moderation, and why airport cocktails somehow exist outside normal life rules. Then things take another unexpected turn when the crew dives into brand-new statistics showing that daily marijuana use has officially surpassed daily alcohol consumption in America. Naturally, nobody can simply read the numbers and move on. Instead, the discussion wanders through changing social habits, cannabis culture, nightly routines, and whether America has quietly rewritten the rulebook on what "unwinding after work" actually looks like.As if that wasn't enough chaos already, the gang celebrates another birthday, previews everything coming in August—from football returning and Cardinals optimism to new TV shows, movies, and bizarre national holidays—and somehow manages to make even a calendar feel ridiculous. It's the perfect mix of weird news, sarcastic commentary, pop culture, and the kind of conversations that somehow only make sense when you're hanging out with The Rizzuto Show.If you're looking for a daily comedy show packed with funny stories, celebrity chatter, unexpected debates, and the kind of off-the-rails conversations that feel like you're sitting in the studio with the crew, you've found it. Whether you're here for the laughs, the ridiculous opinions, or simply wondering which peanut butter flavor wins the day, this episode delivers exactly the kind of unpredictable energy that keeps people coming back. Thanks for listening to another daily comedy show from The Rizzuto Show. If you laughed, argued with the crew, or now suddenly want gourmet peanut butter delivered to your house, make sure to subscribe, leave a review, and share the episode with someone who appreciates organized chaos.Follow The Rizzuto Show → https://linktr.ee/rizzshow for more from your favorite daily comedy show.Connect with The Rizzuto Show Comedy Podcast online → https://1057thepoint.com/RizzShow.Hear The Rizz Show daily on the radio at 105.7 The Point | Hubbard Radio in St. Louis, MO.See Privacy Policy at https://art19.com/privacy and California Privacy Notice at https://art19.com/privacy#do-not-sell-my-info.
Somehow we managed to pack lottery theft, family betrayal, international travel planning, terrifying roadside accidents, hot tub diseases, AI teachers, and a duct-taped iguana into one episode... and honestly, that barely scratches the surface.Scott is getting ready to head to Paris, which immediately turns into a debate about Jim Morrison's grave, French sandwiches, river swimming, smoking European cigarettes, and whether anyone voluntarily listens to The Doors anymore. Moon tries to be practical, Lern encourages absolute chaos, and somehow everyone ends up talking about hot tubs instead.Speaking of hot tubs... would you still climb into one after hearing about all the horrifying things that can apparently live inside them? From mysterious rashes to Legionnaires disease, the crew discovers there are way more reasons to shower after swimming than anyone wanted to know. Somehow this spirals into Russian bathhouses, vacation rentals, questionable romantic hot tubs, and why no one should ever trust an Airbnb jacuzzi without reading the laminated instructions. Then comes one of the strangest local stories we've covered in a while: someone duct-taped a giant iguana to a tree in St. Peters. Thankfully the reptile survives, but not before the crew imagines the poor guy giving a full police interrogation like he's starring in a crime movie. It's ridiculous, it's hilarious, and somehow also incredibly wholesome because a good dog named Mochi ends up saving the day.We also revisit one of everyone's biggest driving fears thanks to another Final Destination-style highway story involving a portable toilet that fell off a truck with tragic consequences. If you already avoid driving behind anything hauling oversized cargo, this episode won't help.Later, an AI-powered classroom robot gets canceled after parents realize the company behind it also manufactures highly realistic adult dolls. Naturally, that conversation goes exactly where you'd expect. Then Arizona State University announces a new bachelor's degree in content creation, kicking off a surprisingly thoughtful conversation about social media careers... before the sarcasm inevitably returns.TJ Miller sends the crew a surprise delivery of gourmet peanut butter before stopping by later, and suddenly everyone becomes an expert food critic. Whether you're here for the laughs, the ridiculous opinions, or simply wondering which peanut butter flavor wins the day, this episode delivers exactly the kind of unpredictable energy that keeps people coming back. Some people dream of peace and quiet. Other people point guitar amps out the window for seven straight years. Welcome to another completely normal daily comedy podcast from The Rizzuto Show. This episode starts with one of the most ridiculous neighborhood stories we've seen in a long time—a guitarist in Japan whose nonstop hard rock obsession finally got him arrested after years of driving his neighbors absolutely insane. Naturally, the conversation spirals into terrible garage bands, learning guitar, drummers next door, digital rehearsals, and whether hearing someone slowly improve at "Smoke on the Water" actually counts as character development. From there the crew somehow pivots into travel planning as Rizz talks about wanting to take his daughter on a father-daughter trip before college. Paris? Maybe. Japan? Definitely on the list... unless Mom finds out and insists on coming too. Then it's time for Crap on Celebrities, where everything from Fleetwood Mac reunion rumors and Motley Crüe drama to Billy Idol, Alice In Chains, Madonna, Harry Styles, Donna Mills joining OnlyFans, and Netflix buying the entire Walking Dead universe gets thrown into the blender. The music conversations get especially nerdy as the crew debates backing tracks, live performances, Motley Crüe's ongoing feud with Mick Mars, classic MTV Unplugged performances, and why some concerts feel completely authentic while others... maybe don't.Elsewhere, Jonathan Taylor Thomas mysteriously continues aging about one year every decade, Steve Savard lands one of St. Louis television's biggest jobs, Chuck Norris gets honored, Kim Kardashian surprises everyone by actually doing something nice, and Forbes releases the highest-paid podcasts in the world—giving everyone in the studio just enough motivation to keep showing up tomorrow. As always, expect plenty of sarcastic commentary, random tangents, pop culture, celebrity news, weird stories, and the kind of conversations that only happen when nobody tells a morning radio show they're supposed to stay on topic. This daily comedy podcast is proudly brought to you from St. Louis by The Rizzuto Show.Follow The Rizzuto Show → https://linktr.ee/rizzshow for more from your favorite daily comedy show.Connect with The Rizzuto Show Comedy Podcast online → https://1057thepoint.com/RizzShowHear The Rizz Show daily on the radio at 105.7 The Point | Hubbard Radio in St. Louis, MO.4 Illnesses You Can Get From Pool WaterAbandoned iguana found duct-taped to tree in St. PetersMan killed after portable toilet falls from truck onto interstateNY school pauses $60K AI robot teacher over privacy fears, maker's sex doll tiesWant to Be an Influencer When You Grow Up? Goodison Heartbreak, Barkley Magic, Freaky Bellingham & Taking the Gamble: Bolton's Richie Kyle. Ahead of Everton's pre-season friendly against Bolton Wanderers on Saturday, July 25, Connor O'Neill sits down for a candid, wide-ranging chat with Scouser, lifelong Toffee, and Bolton Assistant Manager Richie Kyle! From working as a school teacher to taking a massive gamble to enter academy football, Richie reflects on his incredible journey climbing through the leagues with the likes of Blackpool, Forest Green, Watford, the England Youth setup, Luton Town, and now Bolton. Divided Loyalties: Richie takes us behind the scenes of Luton Town's historic first-ever Premier League victory at Goodison Park—and reveals why his friends and family jokingly branded him a "traitor" when he celebrated a Luton goal against his boyhood club! The Magic of Ross Barkley: High praise for the former Everton midfielder during their time together at Luton, with Richie describing him as one of the best players he has ever coached. Taking the Leap: How quitting his teaching job for a role in Blackpool's academy launched a high-flying coaching career that he's never looked back from. Pre-Season Build-Up: Looking ahead to Saturday's clash between Bolton and Everton as both sides step up their pre-season preparations.
England's players compared the hostility outside their Mexico City hotel to a night at Everton — and we're taking that as a compliment. Les and Dave dig into how we actually build that reputation on purpose: the new walk-up, the pre-match playlist, the players who can set a tone early instead of killing it stone dead. Then it's onto the new home kit — Stake shuffled to the sleeve, CMC Markets now front and centre in a deal worth £25–30m a year. Is it just gambling in a slightly nicer suit, or a genuinely different beast? Two cheeks of the same arse, or a real step forward for the club? Learn more about your ad choices. Popularity grew during WWII when families would send the treat to soldiers on the front. Made primarily from butter, the treat was affordable to make and easily transported in packages. Plus, the shelf life lasted a long time. Some people refer to butter crunch as toffee, but there are a few differences between the two. Toffee is a traditional confection made by caramelising sugar with butter, then cooling it...Buttercrunch recipes started evolving when confectioners swapped brown sugar for white granulated sugar and added nuts for extra flavour and texture. Almonds became an especially popular type of nut to use in butter crunch.
A season that promised so much for so long fell so flat right at the end. To make matters worse, Sunderland, who were content with a mid-table finish until about an hour into the penultimate game of the season, finished in a Europa League spot. But what went wrong? Arbeitstitel: "Hear Between the Lines: Microtonality as a Practice of System Change".Auf seinem Debütalbum "Radical Tenderness", verschmelzen okzidentale Harmonien mit orientalischen Intervallen. Hi Bakers,Why do you need another chocolate chip cookie recipe? The classic is the perfect cookie, but if you want something a little richer, a bit bougier with some layers of flavor, you really need to try this version. I wasn't prepared for how much I loved it. The sea salt with rich buttery toffee, espresso, and chocolate is to die for and something you need to try at least once. I ended up, adding one more egg yolk that you don't see or hear on camera, use the amounts listed in the recipe. Please make them and let me know if you crowned a new cookie king in your life. Enjoy! ~CarolynPS Here is the toffee recipe link if you want to make some instead of buying it. https://www.chillybakesglutenfree.com/english-toffee/Gluten-Free Espresso Toffee Chocolate Chip CookiesMakes ~20 cookiesDry2 1/3 cups Cup4Cup multipurpose flour1 tablespoon Oat Flour1 tablespoon instant espresso powder (use 1.5-2 if you want a strong espresso flavor)1 teaspoon Koda Farms Sweet rice flour½ teaspoon baking soda½ teaspoon salt¼ teaspoon xanthan gumWet12 tablespoons (1½ sticks) of butter, melted and cooled1 cup packed brown sugar ½ cup granulated sugar1 large egg3 large egg yolks 1 teaspoon vanilla extract1 teaspoon yellow sweet potato, cooked and mashed well1 1/2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips (if you use oversized chips, as I did you only need 1 cup)1/2 cup English toffee chunks*Optional: large grain sea salt crystals to top cookies withIn a medium-sized bowl, whisk together flour, oat flour, espresso powder, rice flour, baking soda, salt, and xanthan gum. Let sit for 5 minutes on the sheet, then move to a rack to cool completely. Store in the fridge for up to a week. Enjoy!*I made the toffee, but you can add pieces of a ready-made toffee bar instead.**If you freeze the dough, let it sit out for 30 minutes before baking.
Les and Dave discuss whether David Moyes' habit of choosing his most "trusted" players is damaging team performances and results, before asking whether the manager needs time to build a squad as he has done previously at Everton and, more recently and more successfully, at West Ham.A look at his West Ham record feels very familiar to this version of Everton:2017–18: 13th place (first spell, took over in November and kept them up)2019–20: 16th place (returned mid-season, again stabilised them)2020–21: 6th place (record 65 points, qualified for Europa League).2021–22: 7th place (back‑to‑back top‑seven finishes, Europa League semi‑finals).2022–23: 14th place (struggled in league but won Europa Conference League).2023–24: 9th place (top half again in his final season in charge). We then look ahead to two important games against Newcastle and West Ham. Will Moyes be forced to utilise his squad more? Is defeat against Burnley unthinkable, even if Everton get a result at Newcastle?Let us know your thoughts... Learn more about your ad choices. Les and Dave reflect on half a season into life at Hill Dickinson Stadium, and something doesn't feel right. The atmosphere's flat, results aren't clicking, and more fans than ever are saying "it just doesn't feel like Everton anymore."In this episode, we dive deep into the science behind why moving grounds affects club identity - and whether the Hill Dickinson naming rights deal has made things worse. For years we complained about lack of exposure compared to Liverpool, and now we've put our own name in the shadows on the world-famous waterfront.Let us know your thoughts Learn more about your ad choices. It was back down to earth with a bump for the Toffees in a very familiar feeling defeat at Chelsea, where Everton rolled out all the hits – played really well in spells, just lacked a cutting edge, conceded against the run of play, the lot. Are we expecting too much from Everton? Where did it go wrong against Chelsea? And how do the Toffees line up against Arsenal, given the lack of midfield options?

Everton turned in their most complete performance of the season to put three past Nottingham Forest without reply and briefly move up to fifth in the table. With Chelsea away up next comes the chance to move into fourth spot ahead of the London club - can we start looking towards European qualification, and was Moyes right to call out the possibility following the win over Forest? We also discuss the news that The Winslow will be closing its doors next month after 140 years of serving the Goodison faithful. Should the club step in to preserve a piece of Everton history?
